The place architecture is very beautiful and we'll managed. I found a very peaceful environment there. The church was clear and organised. I am attaching some of the photos which gives the glimpse of ancient architecture. I was also fortunate to see some wall painting having very deep meaning. The place is located in the old city and you have to keeping asking people for the right direction.

Holy grave Church (Church of the Holy Sepulchre ) that revitalized Church It is said that the Christians have a holy church located in the Christian section of the old Jerusalem city. This place is sacred in Christianity for two reasons: firstly it is the place where Christ was hanged on the cross and secondly because his body is buried in this place. .

Old Jerusalem is a fascinating location that had historical relations with many of the world's religions. The Church of the Holy Sepulchre is one of those locations within the walls, and was very interesting. I would strongly suggest that guests either book a tour or research this (and other locations) to have a better understanding of the historical traditions of each location.

(Translated by Google) The holiest and most important place for Christians. It is worth participating in the daily Franciscan passion procession with candles at 17.00 in summer, at 16.00 in winter. Ask for texts in Polish in the sacristy. The most holy place for christianity. History can be touched and seen here in every place inside the church and the many chapels inside. It can take a long time to reach the tomb of jesus if there are lot of people. Take your camera with you to this church since it's an amazing enviernment

Really mixed feelings about this place. You really need a guide to understand this place. We had one which made it tolerable. Otherwise we would not have understood what we were looking at. The hole where the crucifix was placed into the rock... It's under a table. We crawled under and saw and felt the hole, all thanks to our guide. Otherwise we would have totally missed this. The church is full of niches, parts, i don't know what you call them. It's sort of a mess. Have a guide to explain. We're glad we visited. We don't plan on returning.

For the historical and religious history, get this on your bucket list. Read up on the City of David first and you won't need a tour guide. Stay close to it and enjoy a leisure walk. There are 44k people who live nd work inside the city. It's a city within a city. See where Christ walked along the Roman stones, see the place where Abraham was to sacrifice his son and the place where Christ died, his prison, where is He isn aid to rest. The Western Wall, the split between the Muslims and Jews. A place to add to your bucket list for sure! You may make a donation because it's free to enter. Tips: Ladies: no exposed skin and wear a head cover.

The church of the holy sepulchre in the old city of Jerusalem, a place where the final stations of Jesus Christ happened before the Crucifixion. As a Jerusalimite, this is a great place for not only locals but also pilgrims and tourists to enjoy the holiness of this place, highly recommend. Be advised though, in normal days pre-covid, it is very crowded. Also, please respect the place and the people there!

A place filled with history, and for some, with spirituality and pure emotions. Unfortunately, let down by the byzantinoid behaviors of the people looking after it, and of many of the people visiting it. Quite filthy, literally. Good to see it once in a life time, but not the place to quietly meditate and pray time and time again. A shame, because it could be much better.

My Walk into this Church, was with such a Profound Heart. It was as if I had gone back in time. The Majestic Beauty in every room; On every wall; In every detail...kept my eyes at full focus, at every moment. You can read all you want about this place; Look at every picture about this place...It is NOT the same. To Touch; Walk; Cry and Pray, where Jesus was stood..... Changed my Perception of all the Stories I had ever read. What such Historical HOLY ground my feet were on. I felt Blessed!

This is an exceptionally peaceful and tranquil place for reflection and education I found pilgrims to be extremely friendly, respectful and gentle. There are times when you can hear a pin drop were it not for a regular flow of tour guides. Individuals of all faiths were seen and it is advised to dress respectfully here.

Managed by 6 different Christian denominations, this church in the capitol of the world's only Jewish state is among the greatest long living examples of coexistence on Earth. It should make it onto some Greatest Wonders list on that, alone. The most holy site for Christians, and an interesting stop for anyone.

(Translated by Google) Church built by Emperor Constantine, founder of the Catholic Church. He and his wife when they went to Jerusalem looking for evidence about Jesus. They thought that this place was the place of the crucifixion and tomb, due to the fact that there is a lot of people daily. However on the site was a pagan temple built by the Greek goddess Aphrodite. So there were a lot of people in the place. Constantine's wife had the temple demolished and the church built on the site. Por isso se via bastante pessoas no local. A esposa de constantino mandou derrubar o templo e construir essa igreja no local.

I’m a Christian and a priest-in-training, and this just wasn’t for me in terms of finding a connection with Jesus or feeling close to God. I can appreciate the craftsmanship of the building, and the significance of the site, but for so many reasons I felt sad and anguished in this place. Worth a visit, but leaves you with much to reflect on. There were many other places on pilgrimage that left me breathless. The Holy Sepulchre was unfortunately not one of them.

Quiet crowded. There are several different churches that have areas inside of this church. And if you happen to be there during one of these worshiping ceremonies, the crowd will be much larger and you will simply have to forgo visiting some of the areas. I would never attempt to visit this place without a guide. There is just simply so much that has and is, taking place in this holy place that you could never comprehend or understand without some level of guidance. It was good architecture and depiction of the tomb Jesus was buried and then rose from the dead. While reaching to the church there are lot of small shops where you can buy good souvenirs and gifts. Good quality is for sure if you go to right shop. Try street food too Will not be disappointed. It's worth every minute

Although crowded with numerous tour groups, nothing can detract from the holiness that fills this massive church. If you close your eyes as you kneel at the place of Jesus' crucifixion or where his body was laid to rest, you can feel His presence in your heart and soul. An incredible experience.

The church is divided between several Christian groups and is intricate and mesmerizing. I highly recommend visiting with a good tour guide that can help explain the interesting stories that are linked to this place.
