Went here at Schaumburg, Chicago location with impression of New Jersey' s Sukhadia in mind and watering mouth. Jilebi were not available but we had some paratha, chat, vada sambar and regreted going here. Paratha was greasy and sambar was cold, also the chat did not taste any good. The mistake was we had ordered Kachori for to go and had to throw one after eating one Kachori. Very bad taste and the facility is not clean as it is in New Jersey. Will not recommend this Sukhadia to anyone.

Got a chance to try out their special Thali today. Loved it. It definitely felt like a home away from home. Chappatis were fresh, curries and kadhi tasty, appetizers were good and I am a fan of buttermilk so that was a bonus. I will definitely recommend this to anyone looking for quality Gujarati style homemade food. They also have plenty of other options which I look forward to trying out in future.

I'm very surprised by the negative reviews. I been going to sukhadia for years. Food tasted great. Customer service was good as well. There is a bit of wait for chats and food.

Excellent place to eat. Had some excellent Indian evening snacks. The masala chai is really amazing. All the food have authentic Indian taste. The service is really amazing and the restaurant is cleanly kept.

Jalebi jalebi jalebi is the yummiest item you will find . You will be the lucky lottery winner if you end up here when they are making them at that time.

I wish there was negative ratings. The staff and management is horrible and rude. We catered the lunch for which they missed 1 whole item and then put blame on us rather than apologizing. The FOOD was COLD and the CONTAINERS were NASTY. They used peanuts from one of their snacks to add into 1 of the food items we ordered while we were waiting right in front of them. So not sure how they would have made all the items. When confronted the front desk cashier of using peanut he was “yes, the cook might have used, so what?” he was not sorry for any unprofessional behavior rather he was rude. If you are taking order for catering and if you are professionals atleast use clean and hygiene containers / products irrespective if the catering was ordered for 10, 20 or 50 people. We placed order when you showed willingness. Despite of all this he won’t stop doing business and will force you to buy food. Pathetic.

If you are hungry and want to eat something, avoid this place. There is no customer service. Writing this review after placing Thali meal and waiting for around 30 mins.

Idk why so many people have negative thoughts about this restaurant and their customer service, because my first experience there was very good. The food was freshly made, very yummy, for a very affordable price, and the lady working there helped me like a mother. I really recommend this restaurant, and I'll definitely keep coming back.

Ordered for a party of 25+ for pick-up at 5 PM. Reached there at 5:15 to be told that they had not prepared most of the order. Since it was too late to order anywhere else, we stood there for 1.5 hours while they finished everything. We were late to the religious function that was our destination. To add insult to injury, the proprietor had the audacity to say that "since it was a weekday, he assumed all of us would just meet and eat late". To "make up" for their utterly unprofessional conduct, he "magnanimously" offered us a 10 dollar discount on a 350+ dollar order. While they have lost my business, most of my relatives here in the US seem to think that Gujarati cuisine is the only cuisine there is, and so it's a fair bet that they will keep on stuffing their hard-earned money into this catering and restaurant place, even though this is the second time we've had such an experience with them. The actual food was pretty good, but IMHO it's just not worth going through such an awful experience. Twice.

Authentic Indian food at the very best price. the owners (family) and chef are very passionate about quality, so the meal is always fresh (made to order). With pandemic restrictions in place, we use phone order for pick up. the food is always fresh and meal size is perfect. we recently tried their snacks and now a huge fan of bhakarvadi, fafda as well as some of their low calorie winter sweets. we love this family owned vegetarian restaurant.

These folks are funny. I ordered kachori and kachori chat. I personally believe this should have come with an hammer. It was almost impossible to crack the bottom part of kachori. When spoke to the staff, their answer was “it depends how much microwave we do, sometime they are ok and sometime not”.... go figure. 😇

Had a disappointing experience. Placed an order of samosas for an organized potluck, well in advance. Only to realize on the day of pickup that the order wasn’t even picked up by the store owner. Ended up comprising with a different item.

I visited with my family and had a great time having Paneer Paratha, Special thali and Samosa Chole!! And the jalabi was awsome. THIS IS THE BEST JALEBI I HAD TILL NOW IN US!!

Very good place for snacks and sweets but this place is a hit and miss. Wait time sometimes can be very longs.. have to wait 5 mins for someone to take the order and another 15 mins to get the food. But must visit for Jelabi.. hands down one of the best and fresh Jelabi

I dont even want to give them 1 star very very bad service. Did not have any customers service. Very unprofessional. If u call them to give them to go order they just don't take your entire order and just hang up the phone with out confirming the order. Very disrespectful do not know how to talk to the customers. Talks in his language with his family member and makes different kinds of faces. That's very rude if you speak in different language in front of people. Do not recommend this place to anyone

This place is the worst place I’ve been to, it’s super un-clean, just when I was ready to order I saw a cockroach right on the floor they serve food.. I walked out, very dirty place to say the least.

Service is worst, dono how to treat customer, heard abt this place, so while travelling from charllote to chicago visited this place. Came in when there was no customer, i.e. we were first customer, waited for 1 hr for food, after that very cooly they say kitchen didnt got my order, and in counter that lady say she dono anything abt kitchen, n she is only helping there. Even worst part is then they say what i order is not there, very worst experience, maybe thier food is good, i dono but they dont know hw to deal with customer. I recommend no one to go there, if u want to do timepass u can go n sit. Later we went another chat shop nearby, they gave us same order in less then 5 mins.very bad experience.
