Numerous options for tea, hot chocolate and coffee! There are samples to help you choose and the staff is always friendly! Don't miss the opportunity to grab a bite at their café! Also, the 'sticky toffee pudding' hot chocolate is THE BEST!!!

Although the tea is great and staff are friendly, there is a lot of pick pockets in this store. We had our phone taken from our pocket as we were sampling some tea. Actually felt their hand in my pocket so screamed and say my phone was taken. More security for customers is needed at this store as safety is a big concern. I will not shop here until the security improves as this is a regular occurrence at this store. Please stay vigilant and make sure your valuables are safe before going to purchase anything.

Whittards do THE best hot chocolates ever! Tasted the Salted Caramel one and it was divine! Ended up buying a tub of it as well as a tub of Turkish Delight Hot Chocolate! Delicious!

Stopped in for a spot of Afternoon Tea. With more than 100 different types of teas, making a choice was a bit difficult - fun though. I chose the Piccadilly Tea option because it was the cheapest. Nevertheless, it was delicious. I also chose the white chocolate tea, and I love the option that if I tasted it and didn't like it, I could choose another tea. I enjoyed the white chocolate tea and it went well with the hot scones and cream/jam. I'll return to Whittard - and next time I bringing home some tea.

Walked around in Covent Garden and saw this famous tea place and I sat down before noon and took a break after a long walk after breakfast. They have many selection of tea to choose from and the most surprised was the price they charged in this tourist attraction area. I ordered a tea & biscuits and it was £6 to dine in. They served you a nice size of pot of tea and two big biscuits, it definitely worth the price. I ordered the English Rose #12, a black tea and rose fragrant and not overly smelled.

Absolutely lovely sales people doing…absolutely lovely business. And tea is a business here, especially in a touristy place like Covent Garden. Don't let that stop you from coming in though, the shop smells lovely, it's bright, and well decorated. Yes, chances are it'll be crowded, but it's also well stocked and the staff are friendly and quick to help. There is of course, also a variety of teas to choose from (along with hot chocolate), and some of it comes in the most gorgeous tins. Check out their Alice in Wonderland collection if it's still there when you go.

You can find many different types of tea and coffee that taste good. In particular, you can decide to taste the teas and buy them later.

Sale staff is amazing. My Click and Collect order didn't arrive in time, but they offered to send it on to my home address. So happy to report it arrived today. Thank you Rhianne! I hope you see this review. Also highly recommend tasting the teas and hot chocolate. They are all delicious.

Amazing variety of teas and cocoas! I couldn’t choose so I had both - green tea with mango and PB cocoa. Both delicious. We also enjoyed the focaccia and the mince pie. Very nice experience! I took some teas home.

Worst shop I have had a terrible experience there. The Guardian was suspicious of me from the start and followed me while I was shopping around for a tea. I went downstairs to see what was in there and he followed me and even stare at me. I felt so bad that I put all the items in the shopping basket in their place, handed the shopping basket to the clerk without buying anything, and went out of the store saying that I would not buy anything. I didn't want to spend money on a shop that was suspicious of customers.

My favourite tea shop in London! I always stop here to collect new flavours whenever I visit London… I definitely recommend this place. The staff was very friendly as well 😊

Beautiful shops with lots of teas, coffees & hot chocolates. Coming back from a 5-day trip in London, I bought Xmas tea and coffee tins as presents. I also bought the whisky tea for myself. I really appreciate to taste before buying any tea or coffee. At Whittard's customers can do it.

They have a variety of hot chocolate flavours loved them all, and tbh the best thing is sampling options they give. It changes everytime, they also have roasted ground coffee. The staff there are super helpful ♥️♥️

A definite must-visit when in London!! Such a lovely store with loads of delicious teas to taste test. Every member of staff we spoke to was incredibly kind and knowledgeable, providing us with some great tips! I cannot wait to go back. Highly recommend ❤️

If you love tea and coffee, this has to be one of the best shops in London. Ensure you sign up as then they'll give you some samples as well. A lovely collection of new teas upstairs so it's always worth going in.

Went on my lunchtime, lovely warm welcome (from the dreary rain!). Went specifically for hot chocolate and one of the ladies who worked there overheard me and my colleague debating and advised us that we could go downstairs and try some samples! Excitedly, we hurried downstairs and we had even more selection. We both purchased something and had a lovely chat with Panna who served me and unfortunately had to go back to work... 🙃 Will definitely have to return to check out new products/samples!

Dangerous place. We wanted to see it for a few minutes because a local friend said it was her favorite tea store. We got lured in by the free taste samples. Then when were buying something, we encountered Sean. Between further outstanding service and 45 minutes of experiencing what this place had to offer, we were joking that he was determined to make us customers for life and appeared to be succeeding. Not that we're even from this country, but it seems like we might be making some further orders in the future.

Second time in here and they are always so lovely. You can tell that the emoylees enjoy working here. Last time I'd forgotten I had a discount voucher and the sales assistant reminded me I had it. Saved me £10. They never pressure you in to buying but are always happy to show you different products. Always a fun experience.

I went to Whittard of Chelsea to get some tea for a friend but almost bought everything from the store! 1) Mary Poppins probably bought some tea from this store 2) So many incredible tea sets and tea flavors and THEY EVEN HAVE FANCY COFFEE 3) The staff are incredible - I wish I had names to list but many thanks to the guard on duty, who served me some hot chocolate on a very cold evening, and the great billing team -- They even let you taste some of the tea before you buy it. You will not leave the store empty handed :D

Excellent tea, very nice staff! They were extremely polite which is very unusual to see as a non-English Person. Excellent!

We loved the impressive tea selection and the scones were amazing. We tried the Piccadilly tea. It was a Saturday and with this being Covent Garden, it was a bit cramped

Whittard has a very clean, corporate and impersonal feel. The problem is that the selection of green tea is really too narrow. They should stock up on some proper Chinese classics, such as Tie Guan Yin. It may then be a proper tea shop rather than a tourist kiosk.

There are so much tea and coffee, and their accessories for you to try. One of the best place for buying seuveniors.

I have been purchasing my tea from this store for over three years now. I am in love with the instant teas in particular the lychee & mango flavour. The staff here are always friendly and helpful when I question them about products. Also, the tea room is a great experience with delicious food!

Great tea shop. Don’t miss drinking tea in the underground resturant and cafe. Friendly staff. WiFi is available.

OMG, how I love this place!!! Covent Garden Market itself is stunning, but Whittards tea room is one of the best places there! You can try almost every single tea at the shop, and the café offers the own blends, coffee and hot chocolate. Try the Piccadilly Blend! - everytime I drink this tea it reminds me of great holidays in London! <3

The woman who was working at the place today was really nonsense and didn’t know how to mind her own business. My friend’s baby was crying at the store and she (being really inconvenient) asked if the baby wasn’t hungry. Like if we didn’t know how to take care of her. She also asked who was the babies mother. We really liked the teas and wanted to purchase some, but we didn’t and never will from this brand because of how we were treated.
