Do not ignore the warnings! …like I did. This place is absolutely disgusting. Which is sad because they charge $100+ a night and the neighborhood is awesome. BUT, it is NOT worth the money. I felt as if they intentionally tried to make it an uncomfortable experience. My room had baby roaches, graffiti, a mildew smell, blasting heat on an 80 degree day, and instead of changing and washing bedding (which they came in everyday for room service to do...why? IDK) they put back on the dirty, stained, smelly blankets we complained about. The service is terrible and the entire hotel should just be condemned. The owners should not be allowed to be in business. DO NOT GO. You are warned, again.

Very scary to say the least. We were woke up at 5am to a man screaming out side our door "call the police he has a gun, don't let him shoot me" the man continued to screen this multiple times while a major argument was taking place. Then we heard 2 pops (gun shots) and a body thump the floor. Then a different man yelling "I told you I had a gun mf and I will shoot every MF here" then the argument stopped. Moments later a man starts yelling again " call the cops, help". The cops showed up a man was hauled out by ambulance and the cops left. Upon opening the door to my room there was blood everywhere, bloody clothes laying on the floor, my child, husband and I completely horrified. The staff tried to tell me we were safe because they have cameras, I stated to them "yep just as safe as the man that got shot cause those cameras helped him" the staff then told me the people did not stay there but yet they were in a room. The staff acted and talked to me as if I was crazy and they were trying to convince me non of this happened. I packed my family up and left immediately and yes refund was denied. We were suppose to stay for 11 days. Needless to say that's not happening

The worst experience that I ever had in my life. Please don’t come here!!!! Since the moment we arrived people were hanging out smoking cigarettes and drinking beers in the back of my room and they wouldn’t leave the entire day! About the room: Stinky! People do smoke cigarettes inside the rooms in there! Stinks like tons of smoke with cheap aromatize-And nobody cares! It was dirty! Hair everywhere! It felt disgusting to slept in that bed Everything was broke! Windows, sink and the heater!!!!! Noise all night. Next door neighbors decide to party hard all night till 8 am. I did report them and the desk guy ( Indian guy) didn’t do anything about it. Unfortunately i couldn’t move to other hotel since I payed $150 per that night. Me and 2 other guests decided to run out of that place at 8 am. Don’t come here! It’s unsafe and disgusting

You get what you pay for in this situation. It was a last minute booking so just happy to have found an available room. Definitely sketchy but no trouble just a few loud residents, yes people also live there. Great location though

Avoid this place! It is situated literally in ghetto. Very dangerous, we just went to store and when we came back, we had a bloody handprint on our door and handle, cops and sirens right at the motel. We could not sleep as someone was womiting all night in the hall which was open and not controlled and homeless people could walk through the hall. No one answered our calls to reception. They did not want to return money. Awful, disguisting and even dangerous.

I think some of these reviews are a tad over dramatic. I wouldn’t consider this any more ghetto or dangerous than any other cheap hotel unless you’re scared of malnourished homeless people. yeah it’s not your 5 star but for the price you get a bed, a working tv,running shower with hot water, fridge and a microwave. Everyone minds there own business unless you’re giving them a reason to confront you.. it’s a good stay and gets you by if you’re just looking for a place to crash.. if you want pretty go pay 400$ a night.. if you want somewhere to freshen up this will do!

Worse place I ever stayed in, in my travelling life 🙃 I wouldn't consider that place again even for free. It is nothing like what you see on any hotel websites. Very misleading 👎

Yes, this may be close by universal studios hollywood, but I would just recommend that you spend the extra money to stay in a better place, just to be honest, We had someone try to break into our room, the beds weren't very comfortable and getting to the parking lot was a very narrow space.

This place is a total ruin ... dirt in the rooms ... hair in the sheets ... water in the cupboards and moisture everywhere ... peeling paint from the walls ... broken lamps ... bathroom dirty ... there was water in the bathtub and mold... I do not recommend this place... run away from it.

It's usually, but not always, the cheapest room in hollywood. The lighting is horrible. The office is located at the hotel next door for some reason. Management doesn't keep an eye on things as they should. That could be a good or bad thing.

If I could give it ZERO stars, I would! Door wouldn’t lock. Beds feel like concrete slabs and bedsheets had lots of stains on them. Front desk NEVER answers your calls, even when there’s a fire in the building! And to top it off, nobody got any reimbursement nor apology for power outage and being woken up due to the fire! WORST PLACE EVERRRR!

Avoid this place like a plague! Smelly, dirty, dingy, and super overpriced for what you are getting. Room numbers are written on doors in pen just like no smoking signs. Rooms are poorly lit, probably to hide their horrors. Lumpy pillows and smelly bed covers. Stay away!

Was a very loud and yet warming experience. Loved the artistical approach to a ease into a countryside ranch like lavish apartment in upper Manhattan. Very comfortable views and easy to get to stores and chicken on the go chok- fil-a.. full menu and then also a smarter energy of people due to a very smart student body across the street the words most educated geniuses as of what the are has to talk about with the smarted schools ever . They also are very helpful. At. Zoning the apparently finest shaping and conditioning of the hotels experience. The experts are the butter program meant to remain the best at the Gary's never fail ya social comedy showcasing. Always smells like it's a harvest of the dankesrt. Oooweee let's try making pancakes on a two dollar budget we ell budgeting is a issue we can send for your pancakes from IHOP. Hope all is well at the our IHOP. Amen

Best cheapest place on the strip. Don't expect the Ritz but it fits the budget.

Absolutely my favorite place to be, I'm closer to my Blue and it's a convenient place to stay, right in the middle of all my useful locations. Love it

The location is nice. Right across the street from Hollywood High. Walking distance from eateries. The rooms need an upgrade. Refrigerator wasn't cold. You have to pay 50 cent for ice. Front desk check in was easy.

This place is just like what the reviews say.... except I liked it. The cockroaches that roamed this place were absolutely delicious. The screaming and drug deals that regularly took place outside made it feel just like home. As I continued to search the room, I found multiple Danny Devito picture cut outs in the vents that reminded me of how my family used to leave cat intestines underneath my bed. Bravo Budget Inn, five stars.
