You get what you pay for. My boyfriend and I came down to visit with family. We made a reservation to stay at The Caroline for 3 nights. We only ended up staying for 2. The pictures posted online are not accurate!!! We booked a studio and it was dirty. Completely run down. The smoke detector didn't show any signs of being on, the stove only had one burner working, the dishes smelled like mildew even after washing, there was dirt everywhere. The sheets were scratchy and there were crusted parts all over the comforter and sheets. We had to keep the tv on pretty loud all night because there were people in and out all night long. I wish had something better to say because I believe it's a small family business, but it just was NOT okay. Stay somewhere else.

LITERALLY STOLE OUR MONEY.. we booked with this hotel. Showed up around 1030 pm and no one was on site. We called and called and called. To try to get in and git no answer had to pat for another hotel. And when we called and asked for a refund the customer service yelled at us saying they are open 24 hours (which even their page says their not) boom took the whole amount and refuse a refund.. DO NOT TRUSTTHESE LIARS

‘The owner’ did not care to compromise. The website said check out was 4pm, they made us get out by 11am. Although 11am is standard, that’s not what the confirmation I had in my hand said. The attitude my guest and I were given when trying to come up with a solution was disgraceful for a hotel ‘owner.’ I am putting owner in quotes because that was not the attitude of an owner trying to please his guests. This place is run down, they should consider renovations to keep up with the surrounding hotels. Also, ‘the owner’ just walked into our room while we were in there, no knocking, just walked right in. Very odd.

The rooms are clean and some of the best value that close to the beach. The owner Enrico was on sight for my entire stay in case we needed anything. He was always ver visible and available any day of the week. The entire staff is friendly and very accommodating!! Enrico instructed us to ask him directly if there was anything we needed.

Dirty, old and falling apart. Treble experience. The only good about this place is a location. Everything else is terrible. Room was dirty. Floor tiles are not staying in please. AC pointed right into you head when you lay in bed. In the oven range only one of 4 burners was working. Toster was not working as well as oven. In shower edge of drain cover was lifted and razor sharp, so I cut my toe badly.

The rooms in size are good. However the only thing that was throwing me off and made me feel disgusted was the cleanliness of the room you can tell they don’t really try hard. I found previous stuff from the last person that stayed made us feel icky and grossed out. Not to mention we found used food inside the cabinets and mold on the bathroom. That is what is not making us return here. Also, they don’t provide toothpaste or shampoo / conditioner which made us leave the hotel and go buy some. Not even hair dryers to dry our hair. :/ for the price I rather stay at Hilton which provides all of this and makes it worth more.

I was traveling with only my 11 yo daughter and we had the best experience. The staff was sweet and the owner was adorable and so welcoming. It was a perfect spot to the boardwalk and we couldn't have enjoyed our few days in the area more. Thank you Caroline we will be back. I can't wait to bring my grandkids.
