A wonderful little Inn on Hollywood Beach. Thomas and Georgette make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. Free parking. A beautiful beach right out your door and a Swimming pool if you prefer. Towels, chairs and beach toys for kids. Gas grills with tables and chairs. Fully equipped kitchens. A short walk to the Boardwalk on the beach with wonderful shops and restaurants along with entertainment on the beach. Truly a gem!

My family and I were very excited to stay here in the summer but due to some unforeseen circumstances just as anyone can have; we were not able to go through with the booking. We cancelled ONE MONTH in advance and we spoke with Donna. As per Donna, she advised that “as long as she works in Manta Ray we are not to book there anymore. She has our name and our phone number.” There was constant communication from the time the booking was placed to the time of cancellation. I don’t believe this decision was fair and I think things could have been handled differently.

Family hotel on the quiet side of the southside of Hollywood Beach away from all the ruckus. The rooms are spotless clean and the family that owns it treats you like family and as a local Hollywood boy I can tell you it’s my favorite place to staycation. It’s perfect for your family to have a great getaway or any couple to have a romantic vacation with views to die for. 5-10 minute walk to all the restaurants and the concert band shell that goes on Wednesday through Sunday. The pool is 50 feet away and they have full kitchens with all the amenities you need including an outdoor barbecue. Bring food if you would like to cook because the kitchen can accommodate you with everything you need to prep a meal for your family. Five minute drive to local large supermarket and fine dining in downtown Hollywood. You will park your car in the parking lot and not move it because there’s nowhere else you need to go. Give them a try call the hotel directly and book. This is a quiet place so if this is where you wanna party get closer to Margaritaville north Hollywood beach as this is a very relaxing area.

My family stayed here very recently. Manta Ray Inn is the only choice for us now. The staff is exceptionally accommodating. The beach is much quieter, and for us more enjoyable. The rooms are very clean and have most everything you’ll need. We will definitely be back. Great family run business. Thank you guys.

My husband and I were so impressed by the owners and staff at this property as well as the property itself. The location is absolutely perfect. The room/apartment was so nice and clean and we appreciated the time that was put in to the small details. It was so nice to have a kitchen. They give you beach towels to take to the beach and allow you to take the beach chairs down to the beach as long as you bring them back. We didn’t know this prior to arrival and it was such a relief for us to not have to worry about buying or renting chairs and towels. Thomas was great and made sure we had everything we needed in our room. You literally walk out of your room and you’re right at the beach which was so convenient for us traveling with an 8 month old. We loved that this property was family owned and operated and the property was well taken care of. This is where we will be staying when we come back. This property is in a quiet location and we felt very safe at this property. We have already raved about this place to several of our friends and family. Thank you to everyone at Manta Ray Inn and for all the hard work you put in to the place!!! To us, this was by far better than any hotel you could stay in at the beach.

Me and my wife came in 2 days early pre cruise. The cost for our room was about $100 less then the chain hotels at this time period. The good: Clean and well stocked kitchenette, AC worked but was quite loud, the property has a nice well lit patio on the beach with 2 gas grills and the location is 5 minute drive to shopping/restaurants The bad: Many of the motels in the area are not staffed 24 hours so if you have an emergency you have to call and hope they answer. In our case the room safe locked us out and we waited for 12 hours to have someone help and when someone finally came they did not have the key handy. The motel is located on a side street and the people and road noise is annoying, so if you can get a room go the ocean side or second floor at least. Finally the shower had a moldy smell and gnats in the shower (apparently a common Florida thing)

Our wonderful Family&Friends birthday reunion was made even better by Thomas and his caring staff, who kept us happy with their constant attention to our requests and needs, going above and beyond our expectations. Will definitely come back and also will recommend Manta Ray for a relaxing time and boutique crafted treatment.

This small hotel is located right on the beach. It has a feel of a home away from home. You get 1 or 2 bedroom apartment with a small kitchen for the price of a room in other hotels. The place is clean and has maid service. There are fresh linens and towels including beach ones for your use. The kitchens are fully stocked up with anything you might need to do your own cooking. There are bbqs and picnic tables outside as well as beach chairs. The only drawback is that apartments have window AC units in the bedrooms only and ceiling fans everywhere else. If you keep fans and AC going while the bedroom door is open then the whole apartment feels air conditioned well. We have been coming to Manta Ray for years and always had a wonderful experience. The management and staff is friendly and helpful. Tom goes out of his way to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

My husband Tim and I stayed at the Manta Ray the week of the 4th of July. We had room 206 was clean and exactly what we were looking for. Thomas and staff were on top of anything you needed or asked about, the courtyard setting was always friendly and family vibe,we were right on the beach.Will definitely go back.

Beautiful place right by the beach. This is my second year going to Manta Ray and it's wonderful, feels like home . Last year I stayed in a 2 bedroom and it was awesome and this year I stayed in 1 bedroom and both rooms are great. They are all equipped with anything you need for cooking. And outside they have BBQ grills and also equipped with everything you need for you to BBQ. I will recommend this place 100% a beautiful paradise!! I love it.

Love this place. Donna,the owner,and her family are amazing. So nice. The room we have is beautiful. And it's right on the beach. We will be back for sure and we highly recommend!!

I had just recently stayed at the Manta Ray for a total of 12 days at the beginning of December 2023 and was so happy I made the right choice to rest my head every night. The owners were so gracious and accommodating every step of my stay there. I felt so safe coming and going, that being a single woman staying by herself for the first time in her life for this amount of time was so rewarding in so many ways. The view of the ocean from my room was outstanding. I saw the sunrise most mornings, and you are literally steps from putting your toes in the sand and seeing the ocean come and go at their beautiful oceanside Inn. Thankful to have a place like this where even through you are not family, you feel like you are because of the how you are treated. I highly recommend the Manta Ray Inn to anyone who wants a quiet, peaceful, safe, and beautiful place to rest your head.
