Nice place with good ambience. Food and service are great. Yet there is one grumpy employee. 😂 Their imported sweets/goods store items are bit overpriced.

Writing this based on 2 visits. Let's start with the good stuff. The starters are pretty good and comes with really great sauce. It's nice to have a semi healthy lunch option in Battaramulla. But then, there's a few other things. 1. The beef in the pho was super chewy and almost impossible to eat. you literally have to swallow it after chewing it for a bit. 2. I went this Tues, after calling to check if they are open. only to be told that half the dishes are not ready since the broth takes time to get ready. while this is a valid point, I did go for lunch at 1.30 or so. So surely they can start the day early of they are planning to have the place open for lunch! 3. Ordered the Vermicelli with beef. The beef was nice this time and not chewy. 4. My friend ordered chicken with steamed rice. Anyway, the rice came undercooked. And was impossible to eat. And parts of the rice were burnt. So the chef comes and talks to us and we find out the rice is cooked in the rice cooker. Not steamed. And they had been in such a rush that they undercooked the rice!!! They did offer a replacement, but we had already finished by then. Overall, it's an ok food option in the area. Will I go again, definitely not.

I would say this is a place that you cam go for taste authentic vietnamis food in colombo. Prices was reasonable and staff was helpful. No dedicated parking spaces available. You can park at street. We tried vietnami fried rice and it was really tasty. Can recommend

It was a pleasant experience, authentic Vietnamese, its the owners wife who prepares the food and she is Vietnamese. Tastes amazing and thank you for the couple! Must try their special tea!

Best place to order a salad. Extremely cheap compared to the salads offered by other restaurants. The quality is good and so is the portion. I ordered a beef salad and a pork salad including prawns and it was just 660/- in the Pickme App. The salad dressing was tastier too.

This is a small, boutique type place located in the Pelawatta junction. You can park just outside the place on the main road. I went for dinner so the road was not crowded and i managed to park my vehicle. Must say their food is authentic Vietnamese.I tried pork dumplings, Beef Vietnamese rice and a virgin mojito. It was all so authentic and tasty. It had the same flavours of the food I reviewed in Vietnam. They had a nice spread to choose. A good place to visit with your family. Since they did not have much seating capacity, better make a reservation and go. Price was average and fully worth for the money. Wishing them good luck!

Was passing by and stoped for dinner. The place looks really welcoming. Outdoor seating,feels very cosy. Service was really great very helpful. We are definitely coming back here. The food was exceptional

I enjoyed a very nice meal here this evening. First class service, we ordered from their Vietnamese food menu but sat in the open air roof restaurant, Al Fresco. There was a very pleasant cooling breeze. The music being played from the nearby temple loudspeakers killed the atmosphere a bit, but hey it was Poson. The food was good and tasty and reasonably priced. My friend and I shared a plate of chicken dumplings, which were a good size and tasty and then I had the Kim's special double beef flat noodle soup and my friend ate chicken flat noodles. With a milo milkshake and I had an excellent virgin passion mojito, Our bill was around Rs6700. We will definitely go back and eat here again.

I've wanted to try this place for a while now, but didn't really get the opportunity. Fortunately, a few days after returning from Vietnam, I went there with a friend. The location was not that hard to find. You can park on the road side, but it's not allowed i believe. I don't know if they have any other parking space. Park at your own risk. The atmosphere felt great. They had outdoor, indoor and roof seating areas. The food was good, but i believe the taste has been altered to suit our spicy taste buds. I'm not complaining.

Date and time of order : 28.08.2022 9.00pm Uber order Items ordered- tofu fried rice, pork meatball soup and 2 portions of spring rolls Total cost of order- 4,624lkr The tofu fried rice was the worst thing I’ve ever eaten from a shop. The rice was burnt white rice that hadn’t touched a wok to be fried as per the description. Similarly There was not any sauce or sweet corn in it or accompanying the fried rice as per the description . Instead the boiled and burned rice had large chunks of boiled carrot and some pieces of tofu. My husband got the pork noodles and while it certainly wasn’t as bad as mine, he said that it was bland tasting, the noodles hadn’t absorbed any of the flavoring and the pork dumplings portion in it was meager. We also had the spring rolls which tasted off. I used to love this place. Sad to see it rip off it’s customers with its extortionate pricing and abysmal food quality. Will never order again. Save your coin and go elsewhere

Happened to see Kim's Kitchen while driving by and decided to have dinner. We truly had a good experience with the food and the hospitality extended by the owner Sanjaya. His wife is Vietnamese, hence the food was pretty authentic. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Wish they had a few fans as it would have made it a bit more comfortable to be seated outdoors. Saying that, the food made up for it and we will surely visit this place to try out other items on the menu.

Lovely place to have dinner. I liked the food and the atmosphere, best is they have seating arrangements outside as well, which is very important these days to avoid interior spaces. Good food no complains. Prices are reasonable as well. And bonus is they have small shop with so many Foriegn items, I have attached few pictures of it as well. We bought good olive oils and applesider vinegar bottle which are quite expensive anyway. Good service and friendly staff.

I haven’t tried Vietnamese dishes so I cannot vouch for authenticity.. but these were delicious.. well except for the dumplings..i can make better ones to be honest n fold them neat 😉 The green dipping sauce and the Vietnamese coffee was the highlight.. ☕️👌🏽👌🏽

This is one of the very few places in Sri Lanka to try Vietnamese food. I have visited this restaurant a couple of times. The staff is friendly and they serve good food. What I love the most is the coffee. The prices are more towards the high side. Example - a coffee costs around 900 LKR, 3 USD. Overall a good place.

High prices and portion sizes are very very small. Vietnamese food has generous servings but not here. Therefore, not recommended. Two stars due to good service and cleanliness.

The food was alright. I expected the Vietnamese coffee to come in the traditional way, but it came as a shake. The pork noodles tasted good. Had plenty of pork bites. The fried chicken spring rolls were yummy. The rice in the stir-fried prawn rice was a bit cold. The ambience is nice.

Food is tasty and the atmosphere there is also really good as well as the service. Prices for the food is also reasonable. Try Vietnamese cold coffee, it is good.

This was my first time trying out Vietnamese food time, and I was pleasantly surprised by the chicken stir-fried noodles I had ordered. The portion size was generous and there was an substantial amount of chicken pieces included. It was well worth the price. Overall, it was a pretty good experience and I would definitely recommend this place.

One of the best places to try Vietnamese cuisine. Taste of the food was authentic and food was delicious. I tried one of their soups but that wasn’t really good. However the dumplings and the lemongrass chicken was really good. The atmosphere and the interior were super cool and it gives you the real Vietnam vibe. I really enjoyed!

This was our second visit and we’re beyond impressed! The food was hearty, tasty and perfectly executed. The service was very friendly and helpful with food being served quickly even though there were plenty of other customers. All menu items are priced extremely competitively. This is definitely a place I recommend and will come back to try the other menu items. We ordered the chicken flat noodle stir fry which came with a broth in a separate bowl. While it looked on the “bland” side, it’s packed with flavour and the broth was such a welcome surprise on a rainy and cold day. If you prefer it to be more spicy, there’s a chilli paste on the table which you can add to the noodles to adjust to your suiting. I ordered the pork meatball noodle soup and asked for it to be prepared on the spicy side. Man did they deliver! The broth was so flavorful and subtly herby with a good kick from the chili’s I had them add and the meatballs were cooked perfectly. The portion was very filling and satisfying. The service you receive from the staff is the cherry on the cake. They’re friendly, always smiling and attentive, while not invading your space. We were served the food promptly and there was no hassle whatsoever. If you like Vietnamese cuisine or curious to try it, I highly recommend Kim’s kitchen. I look forward to being a regular here 💯
