Million Restaurant @ Kapiolani

😠 Could be the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. Had my table reservation given away to someone else. Then one of the dishes we ordered never came out. We flagged down the owner and mentioned we were waiting for our dish. She came out about 5 minutes later and said they gave it to so... People often mention good, restaurant,

Could be the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. Had my table reservation given away to someone else. Then one of the dishes we ordered never came out. We flagged down the owner and mentioned we were waiting for our dish. She came out about 5 minutes later and said they gave it to someone else and do we want them to make us a new one or just take it off the bill. No apology. I'm sure they could care less if I ever come back seeing they are so busy. I try to be understanding when restaurants are new, but the poor attitude of the owner just really leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Not to pile on but it seems like they've raised prices as well. I never want to wish ill upon small businesses, but these guys really need to check themself.

So glad they opened an expansion of the original Million restaurant here! More parking and food is still great! Highly recommend!!

Really pleasant atmosphere. My lunch was delicious. I will definitely go back and be more adventurous . The sides were really good, kimchi, anchovies, seaweed, acorn, and sprouts. Attentive service

One of the best places to get Korean food in Honolulu. All of the food is very good and authentic Korean. My favourites are the BBQ-meat and the Kimchi-jeon. They have more private rooms in the back although the walls separating these are very thin and if the company in the room next to you is loud then you may be better off in the general area.

I looked at the Google reviews after a private dining event at this restaurant and was a little surprised to see the mediocre rating. I thought the food was better than most Korean places I've been to and would definitely come back here again.

Very spacious Korean restaurant where it used to be Budnamjip on Kapiolani Blvd. Wide range of bbq meat to chose from. We just had lunch specials, everything tasted very good. Parking on site.

First time visit today. Food was good but not really worth the price. I'd come back, but not on my favorite list.

11/2023 Haven't been to this location in a while, so I had an impromptu lunch with colleagues. Wwll priced lunch specials with normal selections like kalbi, barbecue chicken, bulgogi, etc. It seems to be the go-to for many regulars, young and old. I haven't had it in a while, so I thought I'd order the kalbi jim. While I do prefer the broth base more of a liquid like beef broth, theirs seemed to be thicker with a flour base and potatoes added. While it was different, it was still hearty and tasty. Service was humble, quick, and gracious, and they worked like a team. A nice place to have lunch with a friend or group with lots of parking. I'd go again. 😉✌️

I would prefer to give a 4.5 out of 5 stars, only because the prices are pretty high... but overall, the restaurant was very clean, pleasant and welcoming... The food was outstanding and tasty... This was my 1st time trying Million restaurant, but definitely will not be my last time, an enjoyable experience.

The food and service was good but not worth the very high price. Another person I was with said the prices used to be almost only half as much about a year ago. There’s plenty of other choices for Korean food that’s just as good or better elsewhere.

They have the usual korean BBQ, but also some dishes you don't usually see here, like gamja-tang (literally "potato soup," but there's big chunks of pork neck in there too). That's what I got, others in our party got rice cake soup and beef tendon soup. It was a soupy kind of meal, and good, particularly if you want something different.
