Soooooo GOOOOOD! We moved to Washington 20 years ago and this was always one of our favorite restaurants. Decided to come here during vacation and it’s still sooooo goood! The prices are so affordable. I have to pay more in Washington state for quality Italian food like this! I can’t wait to come back and I wish you were in Washington. South Sound! I love the old Italian charm feeling and ambiance. I loved my seafood pasta, homemade bread, fresh caprese salad and the chocolate mousse cake was to die for!!! Thanks for being as good as it was 20 years ago!!!

From reading other reviews of this place, I anticipated an affordable Italian meal in a laid back setting, going for an old-school and family vibe as opposed to a more formal, fancy atmosphere like more expensive Italian restaurants. The dishes met my expectations, so I was not disappointed. Affordable, big portions, and good taste. Not the best or most authentic Italian food around, but does okay for the price point. We went on Valentine's day, so we knew it would be busy. But waiting over 20 minutes for bread and the drink menu and at least 40 minutes for our dishes was not expected--plus, we could tell staff were stressed managing the insane number of to-go orders. Overall, seems like a nice place for a family meal or affordable Italian food

Wonderful local Italian spot in Honolulu. Great food, freshly made. Service was professional and kind. Ambiance was perfect. Prices were amazingly low, and portions were great. I plan to keep going back..

I found myself with extra time between a doctors appointment and having to pick up my kids for school. I decided to take advantage of Auntie Pasto's 8.95 lunch special (I splurged and added Shrimp for $6 or $7), and I'm glad I did. Wednesday was Garlic Oil Pasta, and don't let its simple ingredients detour you! This bowl of pasta was full of flavor, and each bite was as addicting as the next! I wa surprised when my special was served with fresh bread and a side side with a delicious house Italian dressing. Service was attentive without being overbearing and it was a nice way to spend an quiet hour before the afternoon ahead of me!

I loved my choice. It was the seafood pasta but I asked it to be spicy. Parking can be challenging here if you can't get to park in one of the metered stalls in front of the restaurant. They also have a drink menu with more wine choices than beer. The ambiance is not as pleasant as other italian restaurants because all you will see are cars passing by both surrounding streets. However, food don't disappoint. You will like the bread especially the first is free but any additional will be $1.

Me and my girlfriend come here for our fancy date nights, and we are always struck by how few people it seems frequent this spot given how amazing the food is. You can tell they make everything fresh, their sauces and cheeses are to die for. The fried mozzarella appetizer can cure all that residual pandemic trauma. It is a bit pricey, but it’s worth it 100%; at Auntie Pasto’s you’re paying for intimacy and authenticity. Cant recommend them higher.

My wife and I shambled in while in the area on our honeymoon. One of the best dining decisions of our entire honeymoon! The bread was AMAZING! Made fresh! The pizza was upgraded to the next largest size. Calvin was SUPER friendly and engaging. A laid back atmosphere and smiles all around. Wasn’t busy at all. Portions matched the price and filled us up! BEST CHEESECAKE I’VE EVER HAD!!!!

Used to eat here in the 90s and was delighted to see it was still here. Finally, I went in for a late supper last night and will admit I was disappointed. Wasn't busy as it was about 8 pm, but it took quite a while before anyone approached the table. Finally, a quiet little server came over to take our order. Don't think english is her first language as she had difficulty understanding anything that deviated directly from the menu. Asked if I could get the clams without mussels as my entree along with a Caesar salad. I asked if I could get the garlic bread with pesto rather than marinara, which seemed to confuse her. She went back into the side station and said they couldn't do it so I didn't order it. Never got a beverage menu and she never asked for a beverage order. My clams came out with mussels and had to send it back. It also came out as an appetizer with the salad. Flagged her down again to let her know. Also, I finally asked for a beverage menu as we saw another table getting beer and wine. My friend ordered a beer. Never got it until he reminded her after his entree was delivered. The Caesar salad was amazing, but my clams were very disappointing. They tasted fishy and old. I have been back home for several months and was so happy to dine here, but will admit I was disappointed. There were only three other tables in the restaurant, yet service was so slow. Would have ordered dessert, but the vibe wasn't there. Hope this was a random weird night, but ĺ don't think I'll be recommending this place that I've raved about for years now. I wonder if owners changed as it's not the same great energy it used to be. Update - I guess the response from the restaurant is an auto response as my review does not state everything was "up to par" by no means. Sad as I have sent many people here who I know were coming to Oahu for vacation.

Probably some of the best Italian food we have eaten. Reasonably priced. Friendly staff. If you're looking for a delicious Italian dinner, I highly recommend you try Auntie Pastos.

We were regulars at Auntie Pastos in Kunia for over 11 years and was sad to see it go. We finally decided to try the one in town. Wow we were extremely surprised how much better it was. We just had the pizza and calamari which were excellent. Going back for sure!

It has been over 10 years sincere have been here. We use to come all the time before we moved to the mainland. We were very excited that this place is still open and survived COVID. We came back to have our last dinner here before heading back home. EVERYTHING IS STILL AS GREAT AS WE REMEMBERED! Great memories and food was ONOLICIOUS!

I knew I made the right choice to eat here as soon as James pulled out my chair for me. Fine Italian dining without the price. Friendly staff and a very nice atmosphere with classical Italian music playing. Food was great, choice of pasta for each pasta dish. My only recommendation is cloth napkins but maybe that's a covid thing. Very glad I stumbled across this place.

Mymymy!! This is an authentic restaurant that delivers a very presentation of just beautiful and tasty food. The pasta dishes are full of flavor. Seasoned with the. Not far from anywhere. The prices are very reasonable. Prices are not shockers. So if you want a night for comfort food to last all night. Here it is. Enjoy your journey.

Good food. The Italian soda was absolutely my favorite. Garlic bread, not so much. Small and the thimble of marinara sauce wasn't worth the 7 bucks. Now let's talk about the Eggplant Parm. Round eggplant? Its all good though. Good tasting and it worked for me while traveling to HI. Big portion is what also worked. Super friendly staff and everything was clean. I'll be coming back for sure.

With restaurants opening with indoor dining, rather pleasant to drop into this old familiar Italian eatery. Good place to bring a date as it offers traditional simple meals. Atmosphere is relaxed Italian and the food is traditional Italian. Add a couple of glasses of wine and light conversion, as this quiet place can mean a second date night!

Not the worst pizza I have ever had but not the best. There was not enough toppings and it was pretty mediocre. The fennel sausage pizza only had a couple sausages per slice and the pizza needed to be cooked more thoroughly. For some reason, there was a lot of raw flour on the bottom of the pizza too. The pasta wasn’t very good either and also needed more toppings.

Wanted a change of pace while we were in Honolulu and stumbled across Auntie Pasto’s as we were headed elsewhere. Great place for some affordable Italian fare such as lasagna or pizza - our group was happy to have ended up here!

We literally just drove by the street on the way to another pizza place and found this amazing place instead! Big and hearty pasta portions and the pizza (we got the chicken pesto and pepperoni for take out, and we just put these slices in one box lol) was amazing! Our server was kind and friendly too!

My wife and I discovered this restaurant by accident. We were the first customers in the restaurant for dinner and had excellent service. She had the fettuccine alfredo with chicken, and I had the meatballs with spaghetti. Both of us were delighted with our entries, and we would definitely dine here again when in the area

I visited this place with my family on Valentine's Day. The servers were friendly and the food was delicious. This is the best local restaurant. I will visit this place again.

Food is always tasty!! I love their chicken cacciatore, it’s my favorite there!! The tomatoe pieces in there is so succulent and makes such a difference how it’s prepared, it really adds to the dish!! Parking is right in front and we’ve never had a problem with it, service and drinks are always on point!! Make sure you come hungry cause the servings are really good!! Don’t be surprised if you need a to-go box, but if you can eat it all, you will definitely be stuffed!! Restaurant is always nice and clean, too bad for this pandemic cause their bar area was always a cool spot too!!

Prices are very reasonable for the quantity of their servings. For as much food I received, I seriously would have paid more else where. Very welcoming as you in. Rachel as ensured my drink never went empty and brought a to go drink
