So glad we choose this company. We loved our tour - there was amazing staff who were so helpful and informative (even included a marine biologist - our girls learnt so much!) Can't recommend them highly enough. There a few firms that do the tour to Turtle Canyon but this one is the best.

Our first time as a family in Hawaii and of the several excursions this was the kids favorite. The kids are good swimmers, but never formally snorkeled but the crew was patient and gave great instructions. Make sure you arrive on time(kudos they provide detail instructions on how to get to the boat, you won’t get lost). Shoes stay on the dock but locked away. It’s a 15 minute beautiful boat ride out to the reef. There are plenty of snacks and water/soft drinks/juice on board. Not rough riding at all for anyone concerned about sea sickness. Once anchored, you get your gear on and then swim about 100 feet out to the reef area. There is a guide and 2 life guards in the water with the group at all times. There are also other boats/groups out at the same time and it seems like they know to take turns. One group is out there on the reef area at a time so its not crowded and also not lonely either. There is also a lily pad for those who want to get in the water but not swim out. The guide will point our turtles as well as give you hints and tips on how to free dive. On our trip we saw about 8-10 turtles at about 10-15 feet depth. We were out there a hour but we couldn’t believe how fast time flew while we were out in the ocean. The water was definitely cold (it’s December after all) but if you keep swimming you’ll stay warm. All in all, this is a must do, highly recommend this small business owned by husband and wife and well worth the time and money and we would 100% do this again!

We had a wonderful time snorkeling at Turtle Canyon. The whole process was well organized, from the advance online waiver to getting us on the boat and out to sea. The boat was new, clean and well appointed. Of course, people make the experience, and the crew of young women (including a marine biologist) was enthusiastic, informative, safety-conscious and engaged. We saw lots of turtles, fish and even an eel. I highly recommend this outing with Pure Aloha Adventures.

Awesome place for snorkeling. Make sure you get there before 7 so you don't pay for the parking fee! Plus, the place fills up very fast! Our instructor was very nice and informational. She also went out of her way to help my brother out when it came to swimming, he was a little scared at first but she made him feel very comfortable.

This was an amazing tour! My mom is terrified of the ocean because of Jaws and the crew was great with her to the point where she was in the water longer than the rest of us. Shout out to Captain Nate and his crew. Thanks so much for a memorable trip!

Nyle is a great guide to take you around the Hanaumo Bay reef. 3 of us did a tour with her, and she kept track of all of us very well. She made sure we all had a great time and were safe. Be sure to ask her about recommendations for local beaches and restaurants!

We absolutely loved this adventure!! Nyle was an awesome tour guide! She was very personable and friendly. She was patient with us first time snorkelers and knew the coral reefs so well. Highly recommend!

We met Nyle at Hanauma Bay for a snorkel tour. It was a fantastic snorkel adventure, Nyle’s guidance made the trip truly special. She took extra time to show my 17yr old daughter starfish and sea urchins. I highly recommend the guided tour, and Nyle in particular.

Snorkeling at Hanauma Bay was the most fun Elaine & I had on Oahu. Hanauma Bay is 5-star site: clear water full of fish with showers, snack bar, and interpreters. But we hadn't snorkeled in years and arrived on a windy day. Nyle fitted our gear and guided us on floats until we got the hang of choppy water. She found great viewing spots, found starfish under rocks, and left time for each to do a side trip. We ended with vivid images of fish & coral and the sense that we conquered the water -- with her help. Having a guide made all the difference and she's the best.

First time snorkeling and it was amazing. The crew, Carlos and the captain, were so friendly and informative. They made sure to protect the wildlife by keeping everyone away 6 Ft. We saw over a handful of turtles, an eel and lots of fish. Location was easy to find, got dropped off by Lyft with the coupon code they give you. Will definitely snorkel with them again.

Haunama Bay was our seventh time snorkeling on this trip, and it was one of the best things we did on Oahu. Nyle is so friendly and was an incredible guide; conditions were great on the day we toured, so she led us out to the outer edge of the reef. She stopped several times to point out cool fish and make sure we were comfortable swimming in the current. The entire experience was a highlight.

Loved our trip with Pure Aloha adventures! We saw so many turtles and the crew (including their dog Sushi) was very informative and friendly. Would recommend and will definitely be back.

Oh man, where do I begin to talk about the awesomeness of my experience with Eva and Pure Aloha Adventures?!? I went on a guided snorkeling adventure with her and some of my dear friends visiting from Texas, and we had the best time! Eva was super personable, warm, fun, professional, and gave us a great tour of Hanauma Bay! Reasonably priced, total Aloha experience, and a great way to impress your visiting friends and family!

Crash and Liza were great guides. We all had fun and felt safe doing it. The dog Sushi was a great shipmate!

We had a wonderful experience snorkeling with turtles. The boat ride out was very nice, crew was fabulous and we saw a lot of turtles and tropical fish.

We did the snorkelling with turtles tour. It was absolutely fantastic! The crew was very knowledgeable and helpful. They made sure that everyone felt safe and comfortable in the water. We would definitely recommend this experience to other people. There were quite a few families with young kids who had a great time!

Everyone was nice and patient, I enjoyed the experience but found that the snorkeling spot was too crowded for my taste. 30 people from our tour + another 20/30 snorkelers from another tour all in the same spot wasn't ideal. The other tour left after a while but my personal experience wasn't the best because of that. But overall, I had a good time and got to see cool turtles, especially one from very up close!

My sister and I had a great time snorkeling with turtles. Don't be intimidated if you aren't a strong swimmer or haven't snorkeled before. The staff let's you take your time and is very well organized. Loved seeing the turtle and fish, and the staff was great about sharing some turtle knowledge and IDing fish.

This was such a fun experience! My wife and I had never been snorkeling before and the crew was so friendly and helped us get acclimated. They made everyone feel comfortable and were super accommodating to any needs we had! We will for sure be booking more excursions with them!

My wife and I had an amazing time on the Sea Turtle Tour! We saw lots of turtles, both up close and from afar. The crew really made this trip a great experience. They are friendly, knowledgeable, concerned about your safety, and they took the time to connect with us. Shoutout to Nate, Talia, Nile, Austin, and Dennis for a great time today. Had an amazing time swimming with the sea turtles! I enjoyed every minute of it. This was my first time snorkeling, and the crew were extremely helpful and put me at ease. My party and I were all saying it was totally worth the money and strongly recommend this excursion to anyone visiting Oahu. Even if you don’t swim, the boat ride itself was remarkable. It was a smooth ride, and the views were breathtaking!

We took the turtle snorkeling tour and it was awesome! They took the time to make sure we saw turtles, going to two different locations and making sure we really got our money’s worth! We also were able to see whales while we were out on the boat thanks to the captain and his crew! Everyone was so knowledgeable, kind and friendly! I highly recommend. From the moment I texted to get information to the moment I stepped off the boat when we were finished with our tour, I felt welcomed and like I was among friends!

Went on the sea turtle tour and it was a blast! Crew was super nice! First time snorkeling and they were super helpful showing me everything! Definitely a must!!

This was a great experience! All of the tour guides are extremely nice and informative. Early August was extremely windy so the waves were a bit rougher, but we saw so much marine wildlife! If you are prone to seasickness, they also are very nice in giving tips on how to deal with it :)) You do not need to enter the water if you feel uncomfortable and they were very kind to accomodate to those who did not go in. I definitely recommend this if you're in Oahu!

Great experience! The crew was great! Saw so many turtles!! I’m not a strong swimmer and I’m terrified of water but I wanted to see turtles. They divided us in 3 groups: confident swimmers, medium swimmers, and beginners. I was with the beginners. They make sure everyone sees turtles regardless of your skill level. My husband was with the strong swimmers and he was able to go on his own and dive down. We both had a great experience! Please don’t touch the turtles! It’s harmful to them and you can get a fine!

Friendly staff worked hard to encourage my family since this was out first time snorkeling. The captain, Nathan, was really helpful in talking us though practicing the mask while floating next to the big blue mat. Tina and Lexie were also great. I am not a strong swimmer and I was truly helped every step of the way. I did see turtles and fish but I'm not sure which kind of fish they were. My only complaint is that our boat didn't go as close as the other snorkeling boats so it made for a longer swim to get to the turtle area. I don't think I could have done it without the crew there. Some of my family weren't comfortable after trying snorkeling near the boat. Nathan worked hard to encourage without being pushy. I appreciate that. I would definitely recommend giving it a try with this crew.

Great tour! We got to see turtles and do snorkeling just as advertised. It was a nice boat ride to the middle of the ocean where there would be turtles coming up to the surface of the water, and you would get to go into the water and swim with fish and watch the turtles. There were complimentary water bottles, juice cans, and snacks that you have access to at all time of the trip. Early in the trip, you would be given instructions to use the snorkel mask and to swim with turtles without hurting them. Overall it was a nice experience and I would use services from Pure Aloha Adventures again!
