It is one of the friendly places to rest and relax. We highly recommend this place because of the cleanliness of the beach, safety for children and only few people around.

Lovely calm beach. Located infront of the Hyatt. It's more of a giant swimming pool, as the rock wall blocks any waves. It gets very crowded during the day. It's convenient, and nice, but there are much nicer beaches on Oahu!

This is a very nice and high traffic area. There is shops, motels, and restaurants everywhere. The beach starts several feet from the street side walk. There is rental places for boards if that interests you. There is running water to clean up after your done swimming. The water is light blue, kind of foggy. The water irritates your eyes so bring goggles. If you swim out to the rock barrier it’s a depth of around 5 feet. It’s probably 6 to 7 feet once you leave to the barrier open space. In the daylight hours there’s life guards. I seen I couple different species of small fish.

I enjoyed this beach for kids! No life vests and I felt SAFE with my 5 & 8 year old near me. Our stuff was decently safe (not a ton of beach bums, but still a few). Swimming was fun! We swam in front of the barriers and enjoyed not having big waves push us every 2 seconds haha clean beach & water area (granted its the ocean... sooooo) watch the birds, they would have no issue stealing food haha

Fantastic beach in Waikiki if you have kids or you don’t like to deal with the aggressive tide. It covers ~ below your waist all the way to the rocks that protect the beach. There is a little cafe that sells drinks and food (sandwiches, açaí bowls, etc). Also bathrooms nearby.

Easy place to snorkel. Has showers and food and bathrooms nearby. I would put my baby in the beach with me no problem. Wear water shoes if you plan to go past the rocks and barriers

Beach fun, no pictures because our family is in all of them. Beautiful place to have family gather together.

Nice beach. There are restrooms and shows available. There is a rock barrier between the beach and deeper water. Safe for kids.

Excellent place but be prepared for it to be crowded always. Early mornings and probably late evenings would be greay but otherwise its very crowded to even stand especially on weekends

Safe beach with kids, due to the barrier. Also saw lots of small fish - bring in a snorkel mask and enjoy. Parking is definitely a pain, but otherwise, beach itself is awesome

A dream of a beach with crystal blue water. You can relax very well on the beach, and for those who are more sporty there are some surf shops and rental shops. In the evening you can watch the sunset on the horizon. Every holidaymaker gets their money's worth here, a place like paradise.

👍 Decent little beach located on the south end of Sand Island. Lots of history down in this area. There are also local fishermen, homeless, and stray cats. Most of which kind their own but some of the cats enjoy attention. As for the beach itself, there are a good amount of rocks surrounding that fend...
