Really nice grocery store in a good sized mall. Nice selection of everything you would need too. So, why the one star? I'm visiting from the USA and this place doesn't take VISA or AMEX. I didn't bring any cash with me because I didn't think I would need it. I was wrong. So, if you're a local or have cash, shopping here is a good idea. Otherwise, pass it by.

Decent supermarket with good options.. But our real problems came out checkout as visa cards were not accepted. I've travelled to dozens of countries & was shocked that they only accepted 1 type of card.. (maestro I believe) So we had to pack it all up and go to the to main checkouts behind a long queue. Just seems silly, surely we could have just gone to the front checkouts or just pay the cash at self checkout but we were told to take shopping and queue up.. Poor experience. Woman at self checkout spoke rudely too for extra salt in the wounds...

Due to system error, everyone received a full control of all items. In my case I had a full cart so I spend near 30min there. Waste of time and of scanning, girl apologized and put everything back but bad experience for customers, shall not return.

Not sure why everyone mentions international cards do not work. Might be a recent update. My VISA traveller creditcard from a non-eu bank worked perfectly.

Great place for shopping and plenty of choice from any kind of products, from fresh fruit and vegs to bakery. All seems nice quality. There is also a good selection of beers.

Very convenient to shop and mingle with the locals whilst being very close to the airport. The only downside is that it's debit card only but on the plus side extremely cheap.

Positive: Easy indoor parking, greek yogurt and the sushi bar. Negative: Not enough warm prepared food or food buffet. Bad quality pizzas, rare to find fresh and warm bread, after 5 PM is dead and they do not replenish shelves, not enough international products and even if I shop there every day and deposit a significant amount of Euro, they are rude enough to check sometimes my bag for shoplifting! No idea how to keep a loyal client but have to go there as it is close to my office and convenient for parking.

Very diverse selection - for any folks not from the Netherlands shopping here, make sure you have cash if your bank isn't recognized in the country.

Great stuff. Great staff. Love the bakery section. But always be early in the noon for fresh baked croissants, bread etc. Otherwise, you will miss them as they gone too soon. The fresh chocolate croissants are unmatchable in Hoofddorp. Also, get the AH discount card from the counter.

I couldn’t find many products that I was able to find in much smaller AH’s in Amsterdam. Payment is not possible by Visa nor Mastercard, so make sure to bring cash if you don’t have the Maestro. Also parking is not free for customers.

Giant grocery store with everything you can expect from your local Albert Heijn, plus a lot more. Sushi is being made on-site, there is a salad bar and parking is super accessible since the store is connected to a parking garage.

U can get everything there.. vegetables, fruits, dairy products, snacks and lot more..

Staff at the check out are always unhappy... not helpful and they look tired of what they do. Dear cashiers.. if youre not happy with your job, find something will fullfil your life and leave this to someone who wants to work.. Terrible every time I go there.. The AH at the airport on the other hand is really cool staff wise.

This place and very well managed and maximum items of households are available here. Best this is it’s croissants you can find best Croissants 🥐 here in Albert heijn. Billing is also very easy and convenient you will get the positive vibes of shopping here.

Fine shopping experience with very spacious layout (space between shelves is strangely large). Pretty much no bread left at 18.30 in the evening, some price promotions are not fully clear. Underground parking is paid from very beginning (symbolic 50c but with hands full of shopping you still have to stop and deal with it).

Shop well equipped. For me, the problem is the inability to pay with a Visa card received from Polish Bank.

Just be aware: they do not accept credit cards (Mastercard, Visa). Super odd and at checkout they treat you like you’re crazy for not knowing.

It is difficult to find the entrance to the supermarket if you arrive on foot or by bike. It takes a long time to get from the entrance to the AH. It is very difficult to carry heavy bags for a long time
