I
was
torn
between
a
2
star
rating
and
3
stars;
I
guess
I'm
feeling
generous
right
now.
I
choose
Hilton/Hampton
Hotels
when
available,
and
the
chain
generally
delivers
a
good
experience.
This
particular
hotel
was
quite
disappointing
and
I
would
not
recommend
it.
The
staff
was
able
to
check
us
in,
but
you
could
not
describe
them
as
'welcoming'
during
any
of
our
encounters.
Although
they
claim
to
have
a
'restaurant',
that
is
VERY
misleading.
Even
with
only
3
entrees
on
the
'menu',
1
was
not
available
and
the
pizza
was
just
a
frozen
supermarket
item
(they
told
me
this,
I'm
not
guessing).
Yes,
you
can
get
food,
but
there
is
no
restaurant.
Most
bars
have
better
options.
I
prefer
a
firm
mattress,
but
I
can
sleep
in
the
bed
of
a
jeep,
in
a
hammock
in
the
jungle,
or
in
most
accommodations
that
fall
anywhere
on
that
spectrum.
The
bed
in
room
212
is
the
hardest,
most
uncomfortable
bed
I
have
ever
had
in
any
hotel
in
45
years
of
travel.
The
texture
of
the
towels
would
best
be
described
as
exfolient.
In
summary,
I
don't
expect
a
Hampton
Hotel
to
be
a
luxury
experience,
but
they
are
usually
comfortable,
convenient
value.
This
location
needs
attention
from
management.
