Nice hotel with spacious & well furnished rooms. Check in was smooth. Mohamed in Reception was very polite & friendly. Also, a young girl in breakfast service was all time smiling & energetic. I had only one night & was thankful for a good stay. Will come back for sure when in area.

We love this hotel! Breakfast ( fresh eggs, mushrooms, croissants and fruits) was included and it was superb! They allowed us to store our bags after we checked out, since our flight didn’t leave until 10pm. The hotel is only a 25min train ride from Amsterdam. We would totally stay here again!

Fine hotel. Stayed in this hotel for 2 weeks and it was a pleasant experience. The major draw factor of this hotel is its location close to the train station. Just cross the main road and you’re at the station. Only the Novotel can match this. The reception staff is very friendly and helpful, so is the breakfast staff, as well as the housekeeping staff. Rooms are comfortable, temperature can be controlled, beds are good. Pillows can be a bit better, and the small tv screen is aging. Bathrooms are good and spacious enough, although the half open shower is an awkward design, and water pressure from the shower head is not powerful. Breakfast buffet is very good with ample choice of hot and cold options. Outside parking space is limited and can quickly get full.

Great hotel with a very reasonable price. I’m a Diamond member and they upgraded me to the spacious corner room which was really nice. The only annoying part is that they’re not actually “at the airport” as you may assume by the property name. I had to spend 20€ on an Uber to get there. They also don’t provide a shuttle to the airport which -after some digging- I found out that they used to do but stopped for some reason. Other than that, no complains. Also, the breakfast was great. If you’re ok with being a few kilometers from the airport this place is a solid choice.

We had a good stay at Hampton by Hilton (Hoofddorp). The room was clean and decent-sized, the beds were comfortable, the room service was great, good variety of breakfast every morning, and there is a park and shopping area 15-20 minutes away via walk. We arrived way before the check in time and the staff member allowed us to check in early at no extra cost by signing us up to Hilton Honours. However, some downsides. 1. Some of the staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. Our hand soap was not filled properly and it finished after two nights. We asked for a refill multiple times, and even asked the room service staff, but this was not done until the second last day of our trip. Whenever we called they would make an excuse stating that they will send it shortly, but never did. Then said it has run out so we’ll get some “tomorrow”. We did not have any to wash hands after using the toilet, for multiple days and had to purchase our own. 2. We also asked for forks over the phone and were told that we would get these right away. After an hour, we called and they said it’s on the way. After a while we called again and they said they’re very busy so you can come down and get it yourself. This would’ve been fine if we were told straightaway instead of making excuses. This was just a few members of staff - the rest were very lovely and welcoming.

2.5/5 stars. The hotel is just okay. The location of it is not that great as if you buy a 3 day travel bus you won’t be able to make it to this location with it without buying a seperate ticket. The breakfast was extremely disappointing & there wasn’t a lot of variety. The coffee however, was good. The room was clean and nice at least. Lastly, when we left something in the hotel we called the staff and they were being very unhelpful and a little rude in helping us locate and retrieve it. So if you’re looking for an amazing experience, don’t go here. But if you’re just looking for something cheap, then you’ll find it a good place to stay.

I enjoyed my short stay here. It's close to the train station and a short train trip to the airport. They charge for parking so if you have a rental car from the airport, I would recommend returning it early. Free breakfast and it was good. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean.

+ Friendly and helpful team. - Airport Shuttle bus is not available any more, taxi is 25 Eur one way. Train station without elevators, breakfast is no good. Room is extra small and it’s quite dark inside. Better stay in the airport and save yourself a trip

Quiet and close enough to the airport. 5 minute walk to the train station followed by a 10 minute train and you're at the airport. Bed is a little firm but comfy enough. Windows are super good at keeping the busy road noise out of the room.

Five stars is not high enough rating for the superb service we received at this hotel. We desperately needed assistance to find a taxi service that would take us and our bicycle boxes to the airport. The front desk staff, Ilias and Thomas persisted and found a way to get us to the airport!- otherwise we and our bicycles would be stuck here! Additionally all the staff was extraordinary, the breakfast excellent , the hotel location perfect and the room comfortable with excellent air conditioning.

I had a lovely week long stay here with friends while visiting Amsterdam. The hotel is extremely close to the train which made accessing both the airport and city extremely easy and convenient! The breakfast in the morning had a variety of options and the staff made our stay as great as it could be!

The room was dirty. Bugs everywhere . Some alive some dead. Mold in the shower and carpets were dirty. Bed was caving in the middle and was hard as a rock. I felt like i was sleeping in a carpeted floor. Foul smell when you walk through the halls and worse smell in the room. It was our last night in amsterdam and the photo online looked nice and a lot of comments were positive but i regret booking this hotel. Also most if the hotels nearby have free shuttles to the airport. This place didnt. Kind of a trashy crowd and the wifi connection was horrible. I want a refund on my stay. This place gross and disappointing

I can’t understand the positive reviews. A hotel without noise canceling windows. Airplanes flying in every 10 minutes, trains every 15 minutes and in the meantime you hear the cars from the streets. A nightmare to find rest(we requested a quiet room) The sink was broken. 2 points because, it was clean and the staff is courteous. Baths are fresh tiled.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hampton by Hilton in Amsterdam and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. The hotel's location is simply unbeatable, as it is conveniently situated close to the train station and offers excellent connectivity to various attractions in the city. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious breakfast options available at the hotel. The buffet spread was extensive and catered to different dietary preferences, ensuring that there was something for everyone. It was a great way to start the day and fuel up for exploring the city. Although the hotel does not offer room service, I found this to be a minor inconvenience as there are plenty of dining options nearby. The staff at the hotel were always helpful in recommending local restaurants and providing directions, making it easy to find a place to eat. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Hampton by Hilton in Amsterdam. The location, coupled with the good connectivity and tasty breakfast options, made it a memorable experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Amsterdam.

Amazing Hotel. The staff were so friendly and cheerful and always willing to help with any needs we had. I came with my boyfriend, we are both 18 and from Britain and our stay here was so easy and did not stress us at all. The breakfast was perfect and the room itself was great. Comfy beds and everything was clean. Perfect location! 20 minutes by train to Amsterdam, which we visited every day. Definitely recommend it here, had an amazing stay.

This place is convenient. Easy access to the train to airport and city. Staff is friendly and accommodating. However when booking room request one away from the entrance of the hotel. You can hear everything all hours. Especially people/staff outside chatting. All night long. Makes it very hard to sleep. Be sure to pick a room high up and away from entrance.

We arrived early due to a change in our flight plans, The young man at the front desk got us checked in very early, And then offered us breakfast was a very pleasant expedited check in. The rooms and the overall property were very clean and enjoyable.

Pick another! This does not meet the Hilton standard. There are flies in the bar and kitchen area. The staff can not get them under control. One staff member said “they don’t listen” referring to managements lack of action.

Perfect for an overnight stop over at the Airport, 1 stop on the train, only a few stops on the bus. Short walk from station. All the usual facilities of a Hampton Inn. Really good reception people and very kind people to help at breakfast. Recommended. Many thanks to everyone.

It’s a 4 min train ride to the Airport and the hotel is a 5 minute walk to the train. It’s 15 minute walk to the town. We enjoyed Christiani pizza bar. Excellent pizza and salad. The rooms are small but very clean. Bed was comfy and the shower was hot with good water pressure. Breakfast had fruit, cheese, croissant, waffles, cappuccino and more. Convenient and a decent price. Highly recommend!

I was torn between a 2 star rating and 3 stars; I guess I'm feeling generous right now. I choose Hilton/Hampton Hotels when available, and the chain generally delivers a good experience. This particular hotel was quite disappointing and I would not recommend it. The staff was able to check us in, but you could not describe them as 'welcoming' during any of our encounters. Although they claim to have a 'restaurant', that is VERY misleading. Even with only 3 entrees on the 'menu', 1 was not available and the pizza was just a frozen supermarket item (they told me this, I'm not guessing). Yes, you can get food, but there is no restaurant. Most bars have better options. I prefer a firm mattress, but I can sleep in the bed of a jeep, in a hammock in the jungle, or in most accommodations that fall anywhere on that spectrum. The bed in room 212 is the hardest, most uncomfortable bed I have ever had in any hotel in 45 years of travel. The texture of the towels would best be described as exfolient. In summary, I don't expect a Hampton Hotel to be a luxury experience, but they are usually comfortable, convenient value. This location needs attention from management.

The location of this property is wonderfully close to the train station. One stop away is the airport, 4 stops from Amsterdam Central. I recommend downloading the NS app for up to date info and purchasing tickets. Very friendly staff from the front desk to the hardworking kitchen staff and housekeeping crew. Great value as well.

Very nice hotel, the staff was super friendly. We reached a bit earlier than expected and requested that if we could check-in two hours earlier, they the actual check-in time. They were very polite and adjusted to our request. The rooms are very cozy and have everything for a comfortable stay. Their breakfast is also very nice, with multiple hot/cold food options to choose from. The location of this hotel is a 5-minute walk from the Hoofddorp train station from where it's just 4 mins by train to Schiphol Airport. Hoofddorp Center is just a 15-minute walk from this hotel. It was worth the price

Great hotel location. It’s right across from the main train station that takes you straight to the Amsterdam Central stop as well as the Schiphol airport. Breakfast is really good! The rooms do have A.C. as well. I will say the hotel stops making dinner before 10pm, even though ordering dinner is advertised to be open until 10pm. There is currently a lot of construction happening on two sides of the building. Other than that no complaints! Don’t stress about the hotel being near an airport - it’s a VERY quiet spot. We heard no airport noises for our whole visit. Loved this little stay. I posted a picture of the view from the breakfast room window. :)

Very bad customer service, Sylvia should not be allowed to work there, very rude. No shuttle to the airport. Paid 20 euros both ways. I broke my charger and I asked countless times for a charger cable and I couldn't get one. They had to change my room because the tub will not stop flowing. The customer service basically do not know what they are doing, one says something and the other says something else. Highly recommend not to go to this hotel.

Stayed 2 nights here and was told the air con wouldn’t work on our floor, so we put up with it for one night. Next day was told someone was looking into the problem and would be fixed by that night otherwise we can switch rooms. Called a few hours later and was told the air con is still broken and are now suddenly fully booked. Would be ok if we could open the window but there are constant planes and trains going past throughout the night.

Overall - Great service, clean hotel, nice size rooms, great amenities, and a convenient location at a value price. Hilton & Diamond Experience - 5/5 You get two free snacks and waters per person at the hotel for being a diamond member. Veryone gets to use the restaurant drink machine (coffees, teas, juices) 24/7 for free plus a free breakfast. Service - 5/5 - Very nice and kind individuals. Place includes a bar/restaurant (nothing fancy but some simple options) Location - 4/5. Right near the airport and train station. A lot of corporate/commercial offices nearby. Cons - area around the hotel may be a little worn down or that amy be because a lot of construction is going up. I'd prefer not to walk outside in this area, especially at night. I feel the hotel itself is safe. Room & Hotel - 5/5 - Clean, spacious on the inside. Outside can be powerwashed / cleaned to look newer. Overall - Grear hotel for the value.

It's about a 15mins taxi ride or you can take the train from the airport and it's literally across the road from the station. The website advertised shuttle bus to the airport but there isn't any in case this is a determination factor in choice of hotel near the airport. The rooms are clean, modern and comfortable. Staff are helpful and friendly with good command of English. Food was good even though the menu is limited. Free breakfast is a typical European spread, buffet style and complimentary. My stay overall was very good. Apart from no shuttle bus to the airport, everything was of high standard and definitely getting your money's worth for a 'budget' tier hotel. Highly recommended. The business center at the moment is non-existent. If you require documents for printing (free of charge), the front desk will print for once you send via by E-mail.

Decent hotel at a very well connected location. Rooms were bog standard, lacked some soul. TV sadly not working in our room. Noisy due to construction site next door and a busy road alongside. Beds were very comfy so that made up for it. Staff always friendly and helpful. Breakfast good, although not mind-blowing with options. Can recommend for a location with good connection to Amsterdam without being in Amsterdam.

  • 5/5 Kaitlin M. 9 months ago on Google
No complaints! Easy access and close to the airport. Train runs quickly into Central Amsterdam - although do check the train times beforehand as if you happen to miss it, you may have to wait half an hour for the next one. Rooms were small but clean and comfortable. Bathroom was spotless. Effortless check in and check out. Staff were friendly and polite.

A lovely hotel! As soon as you walk in, the decor and atmosphere is bright and inviting. A welcome sight after a long day of travel! The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. We were nervous as English speakers especially not knowing much of the Dutch language, but this was not a problem at all. We arrived late in the evening around 8:30pm, and the staff offered us their shuttle to their partner restaurant Traverse Grill which was delicious. The rooms are very clean and comfortable as is the bathroom. The area around the hotel feels industrial, so do not expect fantastic views. However it is a couple minute walk to the train station which makes travel accessible, safe, and easy. This was a HUGE perk of the hotel and this made it easy to head into the city each day. The hotel breakfast every morning was wonderful with lots of options including an assortment of croissants, rösti, fresh fruit, and a waffle maker, plus much more. I didn’t get a photo of the high-end coffee machine but there are two and you can make your own coffee, espresso, hot chocolate, etc. I would come back to this hotel in a heartbeat!

Decent and pretty average hotel. The breakfast was also average but good nonetheless. Staff was nice! I did leave something in the room and realized after checking out; tried to call the hotel but they were quite rude about it. Even tried to email them, but have gotten 0 response back. Also note to anyone who wants to book here, the location of the hotel is outside of Amsterdam by 1 train stop so be wary if you are buying a travel card because it will not include the stop to and from Hoofddorp!

Thanks Hilton I have been in this hotel recently. I would like to thank the staff for their kindness and responsibility. I had booked a room for three nights .My wife disabled and the room that we booked was not suitable for her. We mentioned the problem to the lady who was in the reception , and after a short time, she prepared a suitable room for us with enough facilities. I will choose this hotel again for my next trip and will recommend it to my friends as well.

A tip to start from: if you arrive at Hoofddorp station from Schiphol (which is a 4 min ride), you will save time if you do not go to the main station building and instead go for the other exit - exactly in the opposite direction on the platform. You will soon see the hotel on your left hand side. Friendly staff, our room was ready despite the morning check-in hours (maybe because I am a HH Diamond:). View from the room was not fascinating, one big construction place. Reasonable quality of breakfast. An foremost: much more convenient than the Hilton Airport from pricing perspective and the trains to/from Schiphol are available every few minutes.

This is a great functional hotel near the Schiphol airport, right next to the train station. The service was fine and they have a decent breakfast spread. The rooms are functional but on the smaller side. The check-in process took about 20 minutes and could be faster. The staff was very responsive and helpful otherwise.

  • 5/5 TheLumberjack1987 1 year ago on Google
The hotel is a bit in the middle of nowhere, but it's very close to the train station. Breakfast consists of a great buffet which slightly changes from day to day. Rooms are decently sized for the price and very clean. Staff is very nice and helpful, no complaints whatsoever, can fully recommend.

Great hotel to stay at for our trip. Staff was very friendly. Places nearby were easy to get to as well. So when we wanted to get out and explore not only were places within walking distance but the train was very close to take us elsewhere as well. The area was also very quiet which was amazing. I would recommend staying here and next time we are visiting we will most likely stay here again.

This is a very nice and clean hotel. I love the friendliness of the staff here, every single one of them were so willing to help. The closeness of the trains made it easy to get to the city for sightseeing and dining, however I was disappointed that I had to pay for a taxi to the airport and that the hotel didn’t have a shuttle service. If COVID is a concern they could simply ask guest to wear mask while in transit to the airport. The morning breakfast was also a little disappointing too but tolerable. The one thing I do have an issue with even though I gave them 5 stars is the rock hard bed in the room, hopefully when I return in December of 2023 this won’t be an issue. The cleanliness of the hotel and the staff is what truly gives this hotel my 5 star rating, I hope to see changes when I come back.

Hotel obviously designed by a business traveler for business travelers. It has all you need without any unnecessary fluff. Functional and practical. Comfortable bed, great sound insulation and perfect WIFI. Although it's called Amsterdam Airport it's a 15min drive to the actual airport.
