Grandsons Buffet was great. Old fashion country cooking and sweet tea. Most everything was good, my favorite is the popcorn shrimp, some of the food was bland. I didn’t like the new buffet line up. It was different than before in the past. The A/C was freezing. Our service was really good, very attentive waitress.

The peach cobbler was fantastic! Grandsons come from a long line of buffets. Cason’s was the original country cooking buffet in Fayetteville. As the sign says, grandsons are who run these restaurants. The food is old-school country, cook-in. Most things are fried, and the desserts are sweet as sugar. The servers are quick. The atmosphere is no frills. Well worth the $16.02 for all you can eat and drink.

Building on the outside had barely any signs . Looked a little sketchy at first. When you go in it was nice. Very southern style barn. Wait staff was very friendly. Cleaned up plates and gave our drinks regularly. Food was delicious. Taste like home cooking. I had red velvet cake and a cookie for dessert. It was really good. Price was awesome.

The food was pretty good although some of it was cold. What I found extremely concerning is that ALL white customers were seated in the front and anyone of color was quickly ushered to the back of the restaurant. What gives?? I am writing this while sitting here and seen it happen 5 times so far. You guys are aware segregation is no longer a thing right?

Southern buffet, been there several times over the years went there for Thanksgiving but was disappointed over quality of food. Selection seemed smaller from the previous years which seems consistent with buffets as a whole though. Food was average in taste and cooler than I would have preferred, for almost $35 for two people I'd say it's overly expensive, but I believe the price has stayed consistent over the years just food quality seems to be declining. Bathroom was rather nasty though, grime all over sink, urine under urinal, AND people weren't washing their hands either. BUT waiter was very attentive and kind so they got another star instead of 1. 2 out of 5 🌟

If you want southern cooking, right off the I-95 Freeway, this is a great place for that. An All you can eat buffet, where I found the fried chicken, collard greens, fried okra, and banana pudding to be very tasty. They also had some southern delicacies not normally found on many menus, such as fatback, fried chicken livers, and fried chicken gizzards. A few different pies and cakes were also available. The decor was in line with the pricing, only 12.99$ per adult on a Saturday. But that won't stop me from stopping by next time I'm on a road trip through the area.

Heavenly Father, I'm sorry I had my eyes open the whole time during the our blessing of the food cause I couldn't stop looking at what was about to go into my belly. It looks so good I was selfish.

Food was really good. Down home southern cooking. Lots of greens and BBQ stuff. Staff are very friendly. About $15 with a drink. It's a little shack so don't expect the Taj Mahal but the food makes it worth it.

Food was good, service from front desk very fair as this was my first time in these doors slow to guide me yet fair at best. The cook staff greeted me as they freshener up foods. He was very welcoming shared he is from NJ I'm a NY girl. He recommended great options best attitude in the building. A customer got rude to the rude on me. I'm short she was tall with great experience of the place apparently. He the cook assisted her then came back to our conversation with a smile of acknowledging this customers ignorence in respect and self control. Check out was funny. Little lady assumed that I did not have money after she weigh my plate... Some PEOPLE is all I can say. I will go back now that I understand their process. I would recommend to only a select few that I know would tolerate the country way of service. Great price for the two days of veggies mainly I picked. Taste was good.

Today was my first time eating at this restaurant. I asked around about it and everyone that I talked to said good things about the food. So, I wanted to try it myself. And, everything was delicious. The food was perfect for my taste. I will be eating here again soon. Thank you for being such a clean restaurant and the environment was very pleasant.

Relatively clean. They require fresh gloves each buffet visit. Expensive for kids 11-17, $12. Same price for adults. Good food but not above average. Friendly staff. Military friendly. Good variety but not huge. We will probably not return because it’s too expensive with 3 light eating kids over 10 years of age.

I stopped here to get a bite to eat, and the food was unbelievable. Everything was great. The fried fish and chicken were cooked to perfection the greens and cabbage, which gave that down south at grandma's house taste. I tried just about everything they had to offer and was not let down at all. The flavor was definitely there. This place is right off 95. If you're just passing through, stop in and grab a bite. The prices are very reasonable, and they are definitely a family-friendly restaurant. I will definitely be returning when driving through, and I'm in Philadelphia.

I really liked the food the only thing I noticed and didn’t like was that all of us who were black was in the back on the restaurant together and when we were walking out we noticed only white diners were in the front. Now I’m not one to usually say anything about race, but it was really weird especially in this day and age. However, with that said, all of the food was really really good with the exception of the cabbage. It needed some more love. It wasn’t nasty. It just needed more seasoning or something. Anyway, we will go back, and I hope that that is not the case next time as far as seating.

Food was ok, biggest issue was ... it was cold. Service was good, tea glass never got empty. Atmosphere was just crowded... we were sat at a small table, beside a large group. The chairs are old and rickety, need some updating. Not very comfortable. overall... 6.4 out of 10.

They employees here were super friendly. They had a huge variety of country dishes. They had fried food as well as baked. There were desserts and a salad bar. This place is definitely a place for the whole family!!! Delicious 😋 We will be going back. I highly recommend this place!!! They have sanitizer and gloves at the buffet for you to use while making your plate.

First and probably last time I’ll be here. The staff were very friendly and the tables, buffet line and floors seemed clean. The restaurant itself was FREEZING COLD. We sat and froze our butts off. Everyone including staff were wearing their coats. The food was very cold too. It’s a shame because the spread looked amazing. Praying we don’t get food poisoning.

The food here was great to say the least. We got excellent customer service from the staff and waitresses. Good variety and even pork free options of food to choose from. Definitely recommend if you're in the area 👍

Wonderful Southern food and charm to go with it. For a British guy, I found the whole experience awesome, and such a lot of great quality food and desserts.

Bathroom clean. Interior feeezing cold on a cold day outside. Food DISGUSTING! I've been here before & was looking forward to coming back for Southern Soul food. I AM BEYOND DISAPPOINTED. The evening cooks may can do other things but cooking for Grandsons should not be one of them! Sunday 2/18/24

The food was your typical southern style food. It was seasoned well, appeared fresh and warm. I’m not familiar with a lot of southern cooking other than the more well known type so I can’t speak to those items. The cornbread though was very flat and salty, no hint of sweetness, and it wasn’t good at all. Everything else I tried was pretty good. I will return again one of these days!

If it had butt on the menu I’ll eat it that’s how good this place is.

The buffet I know that doesn't use frozen food. Everything tastes homemade. BBQ ribs, pulled pork, different fish options, several chicken options, pigs feet, lots of veggie options. Everything was really good for a buffet. Definitely hope to go back.

It is really, really good, wear your stretchy pants. I don't hit buffets often because I tend to go overboard, especially at lunch. But when I'm in the area, I'm coming back here EVERY time. Everything that I tried and that was a lot, was very good. I didn't eat the livers, gizzard or trotters. Seafood was great, yard bird was great. Tea was great. Unfortunately, it was empty more than it wasn't. Good desserts and there was salad...it may have been good, but always seemed full, with the 3 large steam tables full of great county cooking beckoning, I just missed it.

Food was great, service was amazing. Our waitress was polite and very out going. Great attitude. Cost us $50 for three people to eat the buffet which wasn't bad because it's unlimited . But the restaurant was a little hot. Overall experience I love the place. Will be coming back. :-)

My husband and I loved this restaurant! The food and country style environment made us feel at home. We agreed that this is one of our favorites we have found since moving here. The peach cobbler is out of this world!

I used to love this place for YEARS. I moved & recently came back so we decided to eat here today. It is no where as good as I remember it being. Service was great though.
