I gave this office a second chance after being poorly treated the first time. And definitely not worth it. The doctor is incredibly rude and ultimately does not care about you, she cares more about her pocketbook. They also do not have X-rays or able to draw blood, they will just recommend you to other people. Highly don’t recommend.

This is a lovely family of doctors,nurses and staff. Always smiling, always courteous. They are practicing social distancing and have even adjusted their waiting room to accommodate the practice. I've had appointments with several of the doctors in the office as well as the PA, Miss Graham; and they have all been lovely! Dr. Knafo is so personable and arable. Dr. Choudhary has all my confidence: she's straightforward and had good beside manners. She gives thorough instructions, adds all the right questions and tells it like it is! 😂 in always on trouble. I've been coming here for at least 10 years, using their services and have never had any issues.

Dr. Fischer-Brown’s office and team are a great team. I have a hearing impairment and this team goes above standards to meet my expectations of them for me. I experience exceptional service every time I have a appointment and would recommend this office to everyone looking for a place to feel safe and important. I know that I am in good hands with Dr. Fischer-Brown’s team and associates.

I was a patient with HFP for over 10 years and wasn't sure if I would stay with the practice after Dr. Knafo retired. Although I still experienced a wait while I was in the examing room I was really impressed with Dr. Choudray. She was very warm and personable. She listened to my questions and answered them thoughtfully. I never felt rushed. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a PCP.

I believe what you do when things go wrong is far more important than what you do when things are going right, and all is easy. Thank you Dr. C and Ms. Brown for making things right today. You made my care a priority. I appreciate the thoroughness and kindness.

Visit was a little rushed for a well woman exam? Dr. Choudhary did answer my questions thoroughly though and was very informative. And I LOVE that she has implemented a patient portal - that has been missing from this office !!!! All of the staff were very nice as usual - they always have been for the 20+ years I've been going to Houston Family Practice. Thank you!

Dr. Choudhary was very personable and took her time with the exam and my questions. She is very knowledgeable and provided updated guidance on well woman exams. She listened to my concerns and I feel very comfortable returning to her for my care. The staff was also very nice and attentive.

Never have I been treated more rudely by a service provider than I was treated by the office staff at Houston Family Practice. I had been a patient for decades, and had always been more than happy with the physicians and PAs at Houston Family Practice. The office staff was perfunctory and not particularly nice - but okay - whatever. That changed in October of 2020. My medications are refilled and sent to me automatically. I was running short of pills, so called my pharmacy. They told me that my prescription had been CANCELLED. Surprised, I called Houston Family Practice. The woman who answered the phone told me that Dr. Knafo (who was a fabulous doctor) had sold the practice and all patients' prescriptions had been cancelled - with no notification. Yes, you read that right - zero notice to the patients. I explained that I needed my medication and was told tough luck, that I would need to make an appointment to see the doctor and get a new prescription. I explained that my insurance would not cover that cost, since my insurance pays for only one Well-Woman Exam per year. She cited the new policy. When I began to speak, SHE HUNG UP ON ME. I decided to switch doctors. If I had to pay to see a new doctor, then I'm going to pay to see one with a better office staff. I went by the office to pick up my records. I was curtly informed that I would not be able to have my records, but would need to pay to have them copied. Because I had been a patient for decades, the cost was quite high. It was clear that the women behind the glass are a tight-knit group and it's them against the customers/patients. All of them were rude, as I asked questions about how to get my records. It was absolutely shocking how little they care about customer service. I have no idea how competent the new owner/doctor is. But I don't expect that she'll be in business very long if none of the practice's existing patients were notified that (a) the practice had been sold and (b) their prescriptions had been cancelled. She may be a stellar physician, but she inherited the worst office staff on the planet.

Dr. Choudhary and her staff were great! They were very knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything to me for my visit. They were thorough in their assessments and made me feel comfortable as it was my first time there. I would highly recommend seeing them if you’re looking for a medical check!

After the first hiccup of missed scheduling everything went very well. Dr. Choudhary is very efficient and pleasant. Her staff is attentive and patient.

I love this place the doctor are awesome and will work you. But if you don’t do what they say “ you can’t complain if your health and mental status doesn’t improve!”
