This place is incredible. From the food to the service. I made reservations for our anniversary they greeted us and took us to the back passing the kitchen and to a more private room. There they set us and received us with a note congratulating us on our anniversary. We had the pork belly which was delicious. Had some drinks highly recommend the old fashions. After that we decided to go to the bar which was a lot of fun. Nonetheless it was a great experience will be returning and I highly recommend it. Before I finish I was sitting in my living room the following day and a host from steak 48 call to ask how was our experience the night before, something I hadn’t experienced from any other restaurant and I though it was a nice gesture and shows how much they care for their customer service. Highly recommended for a special occasion and/or great company.

Definitely considered a top steakhouse ! Service , quality and selection is quite good and to be expected. We did some seafood, appetizers, nice wine and steak across the table. Bread is on the house. Sauces for the seafood and steak sides were all quite good. Mushroom and corn! Truffles fries are always a hit. I'd be back to try other cuts! Enjoyed it! Thanks team !

Took my husband and daughter there for their birthday. The pork belly was to die for. Awesome. Didn't really care for the calamari. The steaks were very good. Mac and cheese was also awesome. Very romantic atmosphere. Will return. A little pricey but well worth it.

My absolute favorite restaurant in Houston!!!! Excellent experience every time. Absolutely delicious food… every item on the menu!!! The best oysters selection in town! Extensive cocktail and wine menu makes everything even better! Ambiance is beautiful, modern and vibrant. Would love it even more if they would enforce the dress code little better.

The experience was fantastic, beginning to end. Server was very knowledgeable and attentive. Food was delicious. I ordered the pork chops. Wanted to compare to Perrys pork chop. Perry’s is a completely different pork chop and much better, but the Steak 48 pork chop was delicious. My wife’s steak was fantastic. Internal temp was perfect to her specifications. Sides were great. This is definitely one of our better meal experiences on our weekly date nights. We will be back.

Steak 48 knows what they’re doing. This was probably my 5th or 6th time here. Meat is flavorful and well cooked, service is always great. You get what you pay for here. I tried the meatloaf this time and it was incredible with the sauce pairing. Dessert is stellar! We got the vanilla cake and the red velvet bread pudding. I could eat them every day

Customer service and environment was awesome, we were greeted with a card congratulating us for our anniversary at the table! The food was amazing and didn’t take long at all to get to the table. The sides are massive and defiantly shareable sizes, we got 16 oz ny steak and pork chops the meat was just falling off the bone! Amazing experience and great food, we will be back. Thank you to Liz for the card, Devin for setting up our reservation, and especially our server Ashley she was awesome! All staff involved made it a special night.

I enjoyed my birthday dinner with my lovely parents at Steak 48! The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff was friendly and helpful! The reservation time was at 5 pm, but arrived a bit earlier and they seated us right away. Additionally, the atmosphere was great and everyone treated us with kindness and made us feel comfortable. Our waiter, Jessy was phenomenal and recommended great dishes and drinks! I recommend trying the Ribeye steak and NY Strip as the meat was tender, juicy, and soft. As for dessert, the vanilla and caramel cake was extremely delightful and sweet. Overall, I definitely would make a future reservation here due to our wonderful experience and would like to thank once again the staff for great service!

So my ex-girlfriend turned fiancé, turned wife ask me out for a date last week, I couldn't say no cos I love my peace. Anyway, she took me to our favorite restaurant Steak 48, it's been our favorite for years now. The food, from the appetizers, to the drinks, to the main course meal are unmatched in terms of taste. The atmosphere and ambience is very romantic, the staff are very professional. We always have to valet because my wife says "fancy restaurant, fancy entrance", like I said before I love my peace. Can't wait for valentines to take her there again, amongst my top 3 favorite restaurants EVER, and trust me I have over 20 so that says a lot. Keep it up guys! 🔥

Always a great experience at Steak 48. Our server Johnson and his team did a great job taking care of our party of 8 last night. Everyone is always very attentive and professional. Great added touch by management reaching out this morning to ensure our visit was exceptional. Will definitely return and recommend.

First time coming in to have dinner with friends for my birthday and the experience was phenomenal. Mark was the waiter and his suggestions were legit and very knowledgeable in regards to the entire menu, kudos to those in charge of training. Best steak ever!! We ordered the Signature KC with the crab and shrimp mashed potatoes, shishake peppers the fried chicken lobster tails, roasted beet salad, extra king king crab leg with butter and the spicy shrimp. To top the entire experience we had fresh cooked cookies to end this amazing dinner. Be prepared to pay for this meal but definitely worth every Penny. The ambiance is very sultry, dim romantic lighting and it has a wine cellar feel. They also have some guest walk through the secret back door which is the hallway where the kitchen is and you get to see them creating your meal. Overall a great experience and the flavors are EVERYTHING !

This place keeps us coming back for more. Consistently amazing food. We have dined at this restaurant numerous times especially for special occasions. It’s a fancy restaurant and has a nice ambience. The last time we’re there for my birthday dinner. I received a birthday card signed by the GM. It was a very nice gesture which I appreciated very much. As usual, it was another enjoyable dining experience. The fluffy pull apart bread, the tender fried calamari, the succulent steaks and the warm delicate vanilla cake were all delicious. Service is timely and reliable. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Fully recommended!

Best steak I have had! My husband and I split the ribeye and it was so good! I like my steak medium well and it still was juicy and tender. We also ordered the gratin patatoes and they were also delicious! They had an artichoke taste (I’m not sure if I’m that was just me or they do contain artichokes) and to me that’s was the perfect combination. The Brussel sprouts were not the best I’ve had but were still very good, would probably switch out my vegetables next time I go. The waiter recommended the superfood salad and it was also excellent just a little sweet not overpowering. I also want to say the service is excellent! Props to the waitresses, chefs and servers for making and excellent team. I felt so welcomed! Not an experience you get all the time when you are dressed down like I was at the moment.

I went to Steak 48 for a friend's birthday celebration, and it was an outstanding experience. The ambiance was elegant and perfect for a special occasion. We recently went to Steak48 for our first time for a birthday celebration and we will be back! The service was great and topped off with a personalized birthday card. Our waitress was well informed of the menu and specials and everything she recommended was great. The steaks were delicious, the bone in fillet was one of the best we have ever had. Sides, apps, dessert were all amazing as well.

FOOD: I do give this restaurant a 5 out of 5. The food is great, everything is cooked and seasoned to perfection. We got crab cakes, cheese potatoes, and 45 dry age steak. We also got a FREE Key Lime pie for our anniversary!!! We were not expecting it. We were so grateful for their kindness. We also got complimentary cookies, they were delicious. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I give them 5 stars because it was worth every penny. Service: EVERYONE is kind and polite. From the valet parking individuals, to the individuals that deliver your food and clean up after you. Everyone plays an important role and it shows on how they treat their customers. After years of evaluating the entire experience at multiple Steakhouses in various states, I have now found the ultimate steakhouse after declaring Vic & Anthony's Steakhouse as the Gold Standard! Steak 48 made such a lasting impression on such a memorable occasion, 20th Anniversary! Steak was perfectly prepared. The Augratin potatoes were the only item that missed the mark as it resembled lasagna!?! [yikes] The manager Jesse switched with the ideal side of twice baked truffle potato! #delicious The country fried lobster tails was perfectly done! The fried shrimp as an Appetizer is excellent! No one is touching their fresh bread.... The dessert that is decadent has the perfect blend of warm cake topped with ice cream, creamy topping and candied pecans!

My wife and I are honeymooning and we decided to treat ourselves and our family to Steak 48. The service was excellent for the most part. However, this is the 2nd steak 48 location in which the non-menu steak options were not mentioned to us (probably rooted in implicit bias). To my knowledge the full menu should be shared with every guest. Aside from that all of the food was amazing and the turn around from appetizer to dessert was impeccable. My only other concern was the fact that our $200+ tomahawk went missing when the food was packed up away from the table but we had every other piece of food left over. We then promptly contacted the manager Ashley after we noticed that the food was missing and she reimbursed us for it.

Food was great but service was lacking as the front staff didn't greet upon arrival and almost seemed offended that my group of 5 was there. This was a business dinner and I was a bit embarrassed at the situation and was actually about to take them to one of the other nearby steakhouse options but we were finally seated. After finishing my beverage it was taken but I was not brought another or even asked if I would care for another. Then when I did ask the assistant he said "oh, I can't take an alcohol drink order" but never communicated with the waiter that I wanted one. The food was good but like I said the staff could definitely use more training.

This place is Incredible. The experience here passed all my expectations. The food was great and the way they served it to us was wonderful. Kudos to John our waiter we really enjoyed his knowledge of the food and how it was prepared and his hospitality. The atmosphere was incredible too. From the time we walked in the door it was an amazing experience. It was our 26th yr anniversary. Was seated in a private room off the kitchen, great view of desserts being made. Sat down and was handed a special card congratulating our special occasion from the staff. Our waiter Harrison was exceptional. Everything our waiter suggested was spectacular. The food was amazing and the staff was so accommodating. We will definitely be back. Thank you for the wonderful experience.
