One of the things that I wanted to do while in Texas was to have some delicious Mexican food. What fortune it was to find myself at Birria Los Primos! The location is convenient in downtown Houston. Birria Los Primos shares a location with a few other food places, think of a mall food court, so there is something for all tastes available. Plenty of seating in a clean atmosphere. The food was amazing, I mean, mouth watering amazing. The Birria was loaded with flavor, my taste buds were on overdrive. The portions were just right and the level of heat was magical. I had the bowl and my wife had the nachos, both were A+ dishes. Now top that all off with great service and you have what probably is the best place for Mexican in downtown Houston.

The food here is AMAZING. I had the Los Primos Platter and the Birria Bowl is an experience. Everything pairs so well together and it's like an explosion of flavor. The service is also great. The bartender is very attentive and accommodating. I'm not a big fan of the location, but that is my only complaint. Would 100% come back to.

Beef Birria tacos were delicious! 5/5, will definitely be back for more. Chicken Birria tacos were not as good 3.5/5. Corn 2/5.

We came to Houston from NJ to check out the area to potentially move here. Me and my boyfriend are huge foodies and of course wanted to get the best Birria Tacos around! Originally we were told to go elsewhere but they weren’t open until 6pm and we weren’t waiting that long lol so the GPS directed us to Birria Los Primos. We were not mad one bit! We got 2 orders of the Quesi Beef Birria Tacos plus the Lamb Fries & Fried Plantains. A solid 10/10. They were so delicious and tasteful, and the meat was tender! I would recommend this place to anyone!

I was in Houston on business. I wanted to have something not easily found in Miami. I did some research on my way to the hotel from the airport. I decided on Birria Los Primos. A 4.8 rating and walking distance from my hotel…SOLD!!! When I approached the counter I was asked to wait several times. The place was empty. I waited almost 5 minutes, again the rating is 4.8. When I was finally approached about what I wanted to order I asked if they recommended the Birria Ramen or Los Primos Platter. I was recommended the Birria Ramen. I then asked which dessert did they recommend. I was told the cakes upstairs are better not to bother. When I got my CUP OF NODDLE “Birria Ramen” I was floored. I then thought “Give a chance”. That was a mistake. The noodles were chewy but I was starving. I ate it disappointingly. My impression was the person behind the counter was avoiding to their job and resorted to doing the bare minimum. I do not recommend Birria Los Primos due to terrible service and mediocre food.

Delicious! I love their birria. Their food is consistently amazing. Their plantains with the sauce are amazing! I do wish the portions were tad bigger, but I'm never left still hungry. I always look forward to going the underground and enjoying a beverage with amazing birria. 👏

Good atmosphere and quick service however food was super expensive! Ordered los primos deluxe platter and thought it would be good quantity. Totally disappointed to see 5 small tacos which appeared and even tasted same when in the menu 2 were quesitacos and 3 were birria tacos. Apart from this they gave one tiny cup of guacamole and tiny cup of tomato’s. 5 small tacos with just beans on it aren’t really worth $25. Totally not worth the money. Service was quick and guys at the counter were courteous.

If you're looking for top notch birria tacos then look no further. You've gotta try it here! I went with a friend for dinner and was so delighted by the food here. It tasted to flavorful and made swiftly. There salsa is fresh and even their horchata was delicious. Their quesadillas are delicious as well and the meat is seasoned and cooked to perfection. There is tons of street parking outside of Underground Food Hall and plenty of other food and snack options here as well if you come with a friend who wants to eat other things. Friendly staff and fantastic cooks. I'd definitely be back and highly recommend Birria Los Primos to everyone!

Not too familiar with the Birria taco scene, but these were unique and delicious and unlike what I’ve tasted before. The price was reasonable given the area, and everything tasted really good, despite looking really simple. I was satisfied and the service was quick. Definitely not a big meal, and not that much of a taco enthusiast, but this was great for what I was told a Birria taco should taste like. The tapatio ramen is a good try as well - not something I would get every time, but still worth a try.

Really good Birria tacos. They are good on their own but you add in their consume and it changes entirely. Their salsa is a perfect accommodation to the tacos. Their corn in a cup loaded is amazing. So much cheese and the Valentina is icing on the cake. Will definitely come back. Was not busy on a Saturday afternoon. But I can imagine this place getting busy.

I found this place based on Google reviews. The tacos were great, the corn in a cup seemed like a good idea, but poorly executed (VERY mayo-y, like stew almost) I also don’t love that their location advertised 10% off in exchange for a 5 star review ( not just any review, as explicitly stated in the pictured sign). Would be 5 stars but minus one for the shady discount for perfect reviews and meh corn. Otherwise very tasty, reasonable price and portion, quick service.

The food is really good, the parking situation is bad, and the location is pretty cool. Located in a tiny underground food court, the walk down the stairs and retro arcade decor is pretty cool. There are some other food options also if you have a party who don't all want the same kind of food. Birria Los Primos is definitely street food and about taste not presentation. Seasoning is great and not too spicy. The spicy salsa on the other hand is *very* spicy.

We ordered for a large group to eat right outside the Convention Center. Delivery was on time, the food presentation was so neat and the flavors were outstanding! Oscar was super helpful and accommodated our last minute changes! Definitely amazing quality!

I just moved to Houston two days ago from Austin and I've seen birria tacos on YouTube and TikTok a thousand times so since I live downtown I decided to walk over to this place and get the quesitaco trio. Swear on my life they were top 2 tacos I've ever had. My parents owned a Mexican food restaurant for 20 years so I think I'm educated enough on tacos to say these were damn good.
