I went there Wednesday November 23rd, thanksgiving eve, for a quick dinner by myself. It was 6:30pm: I walked in greeted the hostess and told her it was just me for dinner. She didn’t greet me back ( first red flag) but instead she told me that they are closing at 7pm so I wouldn’t have enough time to dine in. I told her it was just 6:30pm as I was surprised to why they were closing that early, I assume because of thanksgiving the next day. She insisted that they were closing early but I told her that I still want to dine in and told her that I know what I’m getting anyway. She said ok but that I’ll need to hurry and order. I told her no problem as long as my server comes fast I will order right away. So my server came and the same, she told me the same thing about the hours and that they were about to close so I should place my order quickly. I then placed my order. As I was waiting for my food, I was chocked to see that the doors were still open and groups of people kept on walking in and being seated. So obviously I felt like I’m the one that wasn’t supposed to be let in. I was boiling inside and felt unwelcome. I had to rush to order and eat my food thinking that the restaurant was soon closing. My server never came to check on me or anything. I called her and asked for my bill. I paid and left. This was my worst experience at a restaurant ever. I really felt discriminated for the first time. I left at 7:20 and people were still coming in. As I was leaving I questioned the hostess about it and she told me that they had just changed the hours that’s why people are come in. I was even more surprised. So just like that, you are back to regular business hours. WOW. It was then clear that I was definitely the problem. If you are a black person just know that this may happen to you. I wish I could give them zero star for the service that I received.

Good food. Ok prices. Ok service. My salad was wonderful! Although hubby’s beef kabob has great flavors, it was dry, it was really chewy. Good portion for the price. Service could be better. Did not refill drinks and did not check on us, but she got all the tweaks in the orders right! GF (gluten “friendly”) icon on the menu is a bit misleading. They serve everything with 2 slices of pita bread and it is not GF. As long as you don’t eat that, I guess you’re fine.

It has been too long sense our last visit to the Memorial Dr location. Still the same great food and friendly service as always. The tables and booths have been arranged to accommodate the COVID protocols. We started going to this location after moving out to the West Side of Houston and we are glad we found it. The Rice Village location is great but it is a long drive for us people that live in Katy. We have enjoyed the patio seating several times in the past but the inside seating was very inviting during our 100 degree Summer we are currently having. The staff was very accommodating and eager to please. We have always found the restaurant to be very clean and an inviting place to dine. If you have not ever tried Hungry's we would suggest you do so. We have not ever gone to the Sunday Buffett, but understand it will not disappoint you. And more good news, if you have been avoiding that part of Memorial Drive because of all the road construction, you will be pleasantly surprised as to how easy it is to navigate Memorial Drive again.

Very delicious and great service. Prices are reasonable and very vegan and vegetarian friendly. I ordered the ahi tuna poke bowl and substituted veggies instead of the rice. Will come back and try another dish again!

This restaurant is one of our favorites in this area. We often go there on Sundays after mass, because we go to the church next door. Great for brunch and they have a lot of healthy menus. They have egg and salad specialties, ... Their mimosa is also a definite must (different flavors). It's a very popular place, especially for special occasions (birthdays, mother's day, father's day, ...). But they have enough places because you can even sit outside, there is a big bungalow on the exterior.

Hungry's has been one of my favorite Houston restaurants for nearly 30 years. I love the variety of dishes they have and they are all so distinctively tasty. I had a fantastic pasta dish (I forget the name and forgot to take a pic). Everything is fabulous!

Absolutely great tasting food. My friend got a burger and fries and enjoyed both. I had a fusion bowl. The waitress asked if we wanted recommendations. We wanted to hear what's the popular choice. I was asking for vegetarian and vegan options in particular. She then brought me a second menu from the restaurant next door. Since they are both under the same chain you can order from either place to the other. That was absolutely fantastic. Finally more options for vegetarians in social gatherings. Love the concept. The food tasted great. Prices are great too.

First time coming here and I was surprised I hadn't been here before considering it's right down the street from my house. I've always heard great things about this place and was not disappointed. My wife ordered a hamburger and my friend ordered pizzas with a beer on the side. The pizzas were wood-fired and had a nice taste to them. Mine was the pepperoni with wild mushrooms and he had the prosciutto with pineapple, which was actually pretty tasteful. Considering they partner with the establishment next door (HeartBeet), their menu is pretty extensive and it looks very delicious. I will be sure to come back more often.

We went here last Saturday (9/16/2023). Ordered Honey glazed salad and a salad. The Salmon on firm and overcooked. For an expensive dish like such, we would expect perfection every time. Also, the ceiling was leaking. Service was just okay. Would not recommend. Was disappointed overall.

Hungry’s seemed like a nice place for huge group gatherings for brunch or lunch. Food is good. Casual ambience. Outdoor seating is cute.

Great service, not so clean restaurant. Saw a roach walking around in the back. Prob an outside one? Anywho, drinks are boring. They have a happy hour on weekdays. The food was not so bad but simple home cooked American meals. They do a really good Chicken fried steak. The garlic mashed potatoes taste garlicy, alil too clumpy for my liking but the flavors were there. The green beans were boring. But Im not a fan of them. The chilan sauce thing on top of the chicken was really tasty. The weird garlic toast is too much I think and makes it taste cheap but price is not lol. Really great service. They were kind.

Excellent food and service. The only downside is the terribly small parking lot. So you have to get there early or fight for a spot :). Thank goodness I was early! Anyways, I really like this place and will return .

The hostess was super welcoming, we wanted to sit outside and it was a cute enough location. We went during the lunch hour rush and were expecting maybe to have wait a bit but the food came out in a timely manner. I ordered the salmon and it was very good. It was accompanied by rice which was ok but the they that came along as well were delicious so it balanced the plate out perfectly. I also decided to try one of the natural drinks and the green drink is one of my favorites of all times now it was so smooth. We also ordered the penne pasta with Italian sausage and that was sooo good! The sauce was for sure the star of the show, so much so that I would order that plate again without the sausage and it would still be amazing. The sausage was ok, I didn’t like the texture and it personally lacked some flavor to me compared to other Italian sausages. I don’t recall the name of the other drink we ordered but it was very refreshing and it has what seemed to be strings of cucumber insider which, I liked because it make the drink look unique and I liked the texture of it. Some might not like if since the chunks can come through the straw but I liked it and didn’t mind them at all. We will back for sure.

Good brunch cafe near Houston. A bit pricey but the food is wonderful. I had the classic chicken and waffles and the chicken was fried perfectly, the waffle was not dry either. I also had the spinach artichoke dip with some tortillas and that was a nice appetiser. Highly recommend. I will come back again with my girlfriend next time.
