I
went
there
Wednesday
November
23rd,
thanksgiving
eve,
for
a
quick
dinner
by
myself.
It
was
6:30pm:
I
walked
in
greeted
the
hostess
and
told
her
it
was
just
me
for
dinner.
She
didn’t
greet
me
back
(
first
red
flag)
but
instead
she
told
me
that
they
are
closing
at
7pm
so
I
wouldn’t
have
enough
time
to
dine
in.
I
told
her
it
was
just
6:30pm
as
I
was
surprised
to
why
they
were
closing
that
early,
I
assume
because
of
thanksgiving
the
next
day.
She
insisted
that
they
were
closing
early
but
I
told
her
that
I
still
want
to
dine
in
and
told
her
that
I
know
what
I’m
getting
anyway.
She
said
ok
but
that
I’ll
need
to
hurry
and
order.
I
told
her
no
problem
as
long
as
my
server
comes
fast
I
will
order
right
away.
So
my
server
came
and
the
same,
she
told
me
the
same
thing
about
the
hours
and
that
they
were
about
to
close
so
I
should
place
my
order
quickly.
I
then
placed
my
order.
As
I
was
waiting
for
my
food,
I
was
chocked
to
see
that
the
doors
were
still
open
and
groups
of
people
kept
on
walking
in
and
being
seated.
So
obviously
I
felt
like
I’m
the
one
that
wasn’t
supposed
to
be
let
in.
I
was
boiling
inside
and
felt
unwelcome.
I
had
to
rush
to
order
and
eat
my
food
thinking
that
the
restaurant
was
soon
closing.
My
server
never
came
to
check
on
me
or
anything.
I
called
her
and
asked
for
my
bill.
I
paid
and
left.
This
was
my
worst
experience
at
a
restaurant
ever.
I
really
felt
discriminated
for
the
first
time.
I
left
at
7:20
and
people
were
still
coming
in.
As
I
was
leaving
I
questioned
the
hostess
about
it
and
she
told
me
that
they
had
just
changed
the
hours
that’s
why
people
are
come
in.
I
was
even
more
surprised.
So
just
like
that,
you
are
back
to
regular
business
hours.
WOW.
It
was
then
clear
that
I
was
definitely
the
problem.
If
you
are
a
black
person
just
know
that
this
may
happen
to
you.
I
wish
I
could
give
them
zero
star
for
the
service
that
I
received.
