Summed up quickly, the best Mediterranean food I’ve had in awhile. They give you so much food and one platter us easily enough for 2 people. We left with so much leftovers. It does get a little confusing if you go order in person but you just go up to the counter and pick your entrees and sides. It seemed a little disorganized but the food more than made up for it. The Lamb Shank slid right off the bone, I highly recommend it.

I became acquainted with this location in 2012, and it consistently ranked as one of my preferred dining destinations in Houston. However, my recent visit, the first since the onset of the pandemic, reveals a changed scene. Prices have surged (as in most other places all over the world), portions have significantly diminished, and the flavor isn’t quite the same. I hold onto the hope that at least the portion and taste issues are temporary and will be rectified. Ordered 3 entries with 3 sides each for $60.55 and came with 5 pieces of bread.

We were looking for a small, casual hole in the wall kind of place to eat good food. There wasn't a lot of available parking behind the restaurant, though we found a spot immediately. The restaurant greeted us with a variety of delicious aromatic smells of Mediterranean flavors. The service was fast and friendly. The food looked extremely appetizing and was immaculately presented behind the counter. We were surprised at the very generous sized portions and delighted by the very inexpensive prices. Our food was fresh and hot! The smells that greeted may have teased our senses, though the flavors most definitely pleased our palette. The restaurant has a relaxing, casual vibe and was extremely clean. We will definitely return and highly recommend if you're looking for great food with out breaking the bank!

Everything here was so perfect! The fresh baked bread coming straight out of the oven, along with the equally amazing food that was piping hot and smelling beautifully from the moment that you walk in their door. I Definitely will be frequenting this gem again.

My cousin and I ate lunch here today and I Highly recommend it. We had a whole platter of delicious food for two for $40. The cashier actually initially charged us $65 on accident. They later came to the table on their own initiative and revealed that they overcharged us and gave us a refund. I admired that integrity move and thought the food was worth it.

a houston gem. the food here is perfect: unassuming, tasty, big portioned and as healthy as restaurant food can get (our empty plates had no oily residue on them at all). the roasted cauliflower tastes just like hash browns. you think you had soft, delicious pita before? no. you haven't. not like aladdin's. fresh out the hearth oven when you order, it's slightly sweet and melt in your mouth soft. ambiance is that of a cafeteria and very casual. interior is clean, staff are friendly and prices reasonable. this is one of those spots you return to and feel good about supporting.

Five stars is not enough for this place. Food here is amazing. Upon entering I was greeted by a person explaining how to order. Looks like a buffet style place but there’s ‘combos’ you can pick. I went for a lamb kebab with three sides. Honestly, I wanted 15 sides. Everything was very appealing, and the way they arrange the food is beautiful. Even on my plate the food looked good. Upon sitting, I quickly taste everything and WOW! OMG! CRASH-BOOM-BANG! Totally worth it. I’m really impressed by the quality. I quickly notice how a lot of people comes in an out. This place is very popular in the city and now I know why. If you visit Houston, please, do yourself a favor and stop by this place.

1st time visiting this place after driving past it a thousand times and I can't believe what I've been missing out on. I have had plenty of Mediterranean cuisine but this place had a taste like no other. The bread is like soft CRACK you just can't have a small piece. I will be returning to this place when I'm in the neighborhood to pick up more fresh food with that undeniably delicious bread of theirs.

This was my first time eating at Aladdin's. It's pretty much a buffet with various formulas to suit your taste (or hunger). I chose one entree and three sides, for $15.95. You get two puffy breads, not quite a pita bread, but nevertheless good. ** The Hummus and the Tabouli were moist and perfectly seasoned. ** The roasted cauliflower was excellent. ** The chicken kabob was also moist and certainly tasty. The place has no atmosphere, but then again it's a buffet restaurant. But the food is truly excellent!

Great quality & variety of hummus. The lamb shank is an excellent value & well balanced tabouli. Parking can be problematic, but definitely worth the effort

Aladdin Mediterranean Cuisine is a true Montrose staple, and for good reason. Their food is not just dank but absolutely mouthwatering, offering a delightful Mediterranean feast. The staff at Aladdin's is truly amazing. They are attentive, friendly, and make you feel like family from the moment you step in. The restaurant often has great specials that provide both value and deliciousness. One thing that's always impressive is the cleanliness of the establishment, ensuring a pleasant dining environment. Don't miss out on their aguas frescas; they are simply amazing and a perfect complement to the flavorful dishes. It's also worth mentioning that the owner is a genuinely good guy, adding to the overall charm of Aladdin Mediterranean Cuisine. In summary, Aladdin Mediterranean Cuisine is a gem in Montrose, offering superb food, excellent service, and a warm atmosphere. The aguas frescas are a must-try, and the owner's hospitality makes it a top choice for those seeking a Mediterranean culinary adventure.

My absolute favorite place to go to when I stop by in Houston. The way they heat up your pita in the oven to the many sides and different types of meat, you'll find something for your taste buds! I personally love getting half spicy half onion hummus. I love the cold noodle salad and the lamb meatballs stew!!!! Will have you fat and happy for hours! BYOB! On beautiful days sit out on the patio! Must eat! Must see! Must experience! 💜💜💜

Tried a restaurant in random and went to this place. Food is good, tried entree with 3 veggie sides. If you like everything served hot, maybe not the best place since not all items are hot. Liked fried okra and Falafel. Spicy humus is ok. Parking is tough to get here.

This was my first time eating at Aladdin's. It's pretty much a Lebanese Luby’s with various formulas options to meet your needs. I chose one entree and three sides, for $16.95. You get two puffy breads and they were fresh. The kabobs are definitely a must try. I went at lunch time, it was not very busy but they did have many to go orders. Restrooms needed some cleaning.

I wanted some small portion (im small female) and asked if there were any small plates since i didnt want to make left over but the guy working kept sugesting combo and didnt explain well so it was so confusing when I ordered. I ended up order this lamb gyro which was $10.81 , too salty to eat so i made them to go. When i asked for small container, even though they had small ones they gave me big box and also when they gave me change(i paid cash, they knew i wanted small coins since I paid $15.01 so they can give me 2 dimes) they gave me "1dime+ 10x 1cents"and laughed. Im visiting from Asia, i felt racism by those ppl from the restaurant.

The man that runs the place was kind and gave us a sample of the baklava we bought a square cause it’s delicious. If you are in the area you must try this place.
