I recommend the violet drink, Fajita chicken burrito and chick-chicka boom-boom enchiladas. Everything was amazing! The service was amazing, Vanessa was an amazing waitress, definitely a recommended spot. The complimentary chips were salsa were so good that we to stop ourselves from getting full.

This was our first visit, and we were very pleased with the food and service!! Our waitress even brought out a platter of all their sauces so we could try them before we ordered our food.

I have been to 100's of Mexican Restaurants in my life and I've never been as impressed with the service, food and hospitality that Chuy's Mexican Restaurant provided for my wife and I today. I was truly impressed. Both salsas they brought with the fresh chips were on point. 1 word, Delicious... Then came the drinks and the bartender blew it out the park with the standard mojito and a Tito's Cherry Limeade... Wow, Impressive! We ordered the Ponchos Nachos with beef fajitas... Amazing, simply amazing.. Our waiter Luis, was very attentive and cordial, something most restaurants out here lack.. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. First time trying this restaurant and quickly became our favorite.. Good job management!

Stopped in this past Friday night for dinner and left satisfied. Our server was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. He was attentive and provided quick service. I ordered the beef fajitas for 1 and it was good. These were not the best fajitas that I’ve ever had but everything was good. Compared to other places, these fajitas were cheap and I received a large amount. I added a side of queso for $1 more. I would have liked my meat cooked medium rare but other than that it was tasty. I would recommend specifying how you would like your meat cooked if you do order the fajitas. Overall, it was a good experience and I would come back.

I only have one thing to say: don't be too hasty. My friends and I were hungry so we ate through the two bowls of chips on the table (those dips were amazing). But that's when our waitress ran back with another serving of chips. And then one more after. Nearly were too full for the actual course. Oh also, if you want the trés leche, it's a family size dessert.

I swear I think Chuy’s stepped up their game. If you haven’t been in a while, this place is on point everything from service, efficiency the food was also really good. Full of flavor, and when it hit the table, it was hot- no like it was actually super hot temperature. It was extremely fresh and I was blown away by the quality of the food. Hot food is good food. Our server understood the assignment, getting us refills more chips, and everything without us even asking. It just made our experience so much better that we could focus on having a good time. I got the steak burrito, which was a 10 out of 10 . And I got the skinny margarita… OK fine I got two of them and they were bussin. Not too sweet and the second one hittttt!! I highly recommend this as a go to TexMex restaurant. Not to mention once you sit down chips and salsa and green sauce hit the table do not sleep on the green sauce. That is all. I’ll be back!

We moved from Houston 29 years ago, and this was one of our favorite places to go before we moved. Now, we were both back in Houston and wanted to get back by. We have a Chuy's in Raleigh, NC, but it does not have the same feel... But today, at the Westheimer location, after 29 years, it did have the same feel. I'm so glad it was still here after that long. Maybe we will be back in 29 more years.

Honestly, Chuy's really just isn't what it used to be. I understand that food prices are going up which is reasonable that that cost would be pushed over to the consumer but not only did they raise prices but they've lowered portion size. A clear mirror into the failing restaurant industry of today. Decent food quality. Good enough service. Value? Not really. Make cheap tacos at home and save yourself 20 dollars

We used the catering service for a birthday party. I live in San Antonio and arranged everything over the phone with the manager named Chris. We ordered the nacho bar for 25 for a specific time, but had to change it on the day of pickup. Chris was helpful and accommodating to make it work. Prior to pick up, I was sent a link where I could pay for the items in advance, and did so. Upon arrival, I drove up and the friendly staff brought all of the items to the car within a minute. The food was fresh, delicious, and all of our guest were very pleased! accommodating to make it work. Prior to pick up, I was sent a link where I could pay for the items in advance, and did so. the white dipping sauce that comes with chips is the most delicious I've ever tasted, chips is crunchy & not industrial. Service is well maintained, not too much, unlike other restaurants whose servers keep interrupting your meal & conversations to ask if everything's OK 🙄 Tacos & beans are delicious. Interior is cool & colorful. Price is cheap for downtown. There is a patio seating too.

I had the chika chika enchiladas with shrimps and they were so fresh. I liked how you can customize the protein.

Perennial favorite. I’ve gone since 1992. In all those years, I don’t remember ever having a bad meal or a bad drink. Food is high quality and cheap. Drinks are excellent. My favorite is the Mexican martini. Back in 1992, I was vegetarian. The menu has quite a few veggie options. Now for the crazy part. They have a jalapeño ranch dip. Every one of my friends dubbed this crack sauce. Too good. I’ve ordered some to go a few times. If you haven’t gone, just go. You’ll leave happier.

You could never go wrong with the food and service at chuy’s. Came in on a busy Friday night. So decided to sit at the bar. Bartender was quick on taking our orders. The green sauce is my favorite. Pretty much can be put in every dishes here!

If you are driving close to Chuy's go for your Enchiladas plate, the best Tex-Mex flavor, before 7pm still very convenient to find a parking spot and fast service inside. Plenty of chips, sauce and pico de gallo to start and is free. I love this place.

Chuy's is definitely a good Tex-Mex chain restaurant. Food is always great service is exceptional, and you just can't go wrong. Of course they're green sauce is definitely the most addicting food there hence it gets the name of crack sauce

Chuy’s has a great atmosphere and wonderful food. The drinks are always high quality. A definite choice for happy hour or going out with friends and family. We have been numerous times and have not been disappointed. Seating is inside, bar area, or the patio.

Went on a date and he almost slipped twice because the floor was slippery. I told my waitress and she did tell the manager but he didn’t do anything about it. The food was good as usual. Our waitress was great and very attentive. The atmosphere is always cozy. Will be back. :)

First time here and got the Elvis Presley Memorial Combo. Service was great and very kind. Huge portions I thought as well. The cheese enchilada was really good, chicken and beef enchiladas were very average. Salsa was extremely salty as well.

Wow! That was my first impression when I walked into this vibrant, beautiful, colorful, dynamic, eclectic restaurant. It will wake up and engage your senses… sight, smell, taste, touch. “Touch” because each room has a different theme and a ton of textures, however, I’m sure they would appreciate us NOT touching. :-D One room has pictures of their customer’s dogs all over the wall and another has hubcaps all over the ceiling. I loved it. Since people come here for the food rather than the decor, here is my take on our meals… Hot chips, salsa, and a white dipping sauce were served while we waited for our meals. I don’t know what the white sauce was, but it was fantastic. I forgot to take pictures of the food to include with this review because when she put it in front of me, I dug right in! It tasted as good as it looked and smelled. When you’re in the mood for some Mexican food, stop by Chuy’s. There is ample seating both inside and outside of this restaurant, but if you choose to sit outside, it’s worth taking a moment to peek inside. I’m sure you will enjoy your visit no matter where you sit!

This restaurant has always been my favorite Tex-Mex in other cities, but having it in the state where it came from is different. The food quality is even better than I remember. First of all, make sure to get the creamy jalapeño dipping sauce. That is non negotiable. It’s the best of both worlds, combining a ranch-like dressing with a little kick from chopped jalapeños. It is not only great with the complimentary chips, but also on top of any item on the menu. We also grabbed a queso which, while I was skeptical at first, I quickly changed my mind as the warm and spicy cheese complemented the cold weather perfectly. I went with their mixed fajitas which includes beef and chicken. You will be hard pressed to find juicier, tender fajitas anywhere else. The chicken was so soft and still moist, and the beef was cooked to a medium well consistency. There are also a lot of peppers and onions that are sautéed well. The fajitas come with super soft and freshly made flour tortillas, rice and beans, and taco toppings like cheese, guacamole, lettuce, and tomato. Overall the experience was fantastic and service was an A+.

The atmosphere is fun. The margaritas are delicious. We have enjoyed many different menu items over the years but the creamy jalapeno dip and chips are probably our favorite thing at Chuy's. Outdoor seating is nice most of the year thanks to efforts that help moderate the temperature (shade, heaters, etc.)

What can I say? Me and my family was looking for a little Tex Mex restaurant and stumbled on the place. The staff was so great and friendly. The food was amazing I'm from Dallas but the next time I'm in Houston we will eat here again. I highly recommend you try out this place.
