Update: Still the same great place. I had the chicken salad again and it was yummy. The food is more pub grub than restaurant but still very good. The women's restroom had 2 stalls and one sink. It was old but clean. I only saw one handicapped parking space but there was a ramp that connected the spot with the outside part of the cafe. There is also a large kid-friendly grassy area around some outside seating. A great place for an informal get together or an early family dinner with the kids. ---- Met several friends here. We sat outside, but were under cover with a ceiling fan. Everyone said the food was excellent. I had the chicken salad on a croissant with sweet potato fries and both were excellent. The drinks were all self serve in to-go cups from a fountain station, unlimited refills, and the beer was also self serve in bottles. When it came time to pay, the waitress simply counted the empty beer bottles. I was pleasantly surprised by this place. It is a very casual but comfortable place to meet with friends.

So it was my first time coming here. It wasn’t as busy which was great and as soon as we entered Kim was there to greet us. She was full of energy and provided the best customer service making us feel comfortable and welcome. This hole in the wall spot has history the since 1950’s which makes it a fun experience when asking questions. The food was very affordable and fresh, including beers which is all they serve, and you can bring your own liquor or wine if you want as well just not beer since that’s all they sell. Food gets a 7.8/10 for me it was enjoyable and felt like home. Bill’s Cafe will now be a regular spot for my family. Y’all give it a try you won’t be disappointed.

Take a trip back in time to the good ol' days at Bill's. The food and the price will remind you of how things used to be when the world was a simpler and better place. Huge burgers, great prices (like $8), and staff with personality.

Limited menu, but food is good and hand made. Friendly service, fast. Small, not handicap accessible indoor dining area and a Bigger, accessible outdoor dining area. Note that M-F they are closed 2p-4p. Limited parking. Blink and you'll miss it, but definitely worth stopping in.

Long story short... To go ordered. Fiance picked up the food and came home with it. We did not get all that we ordered and then they wouldn't answer the phone. Also, fries tasted the old grease.

I went there for a good burger and tater tots and I am glad I got both. Service: Keeley was a good server. Very friendly and helpful towards other customers. Atmospher: I liked the been here for a long time look of the building. Even if it is not for everyone, I liked it. But soda was a lil flat and no coke zero at the time. Food: - Burger: it was the best burger I've had in a long time. Very moist,well seasoned, melt in your mouth patties. - Tater tots: really good tots, honestly you can't go wrong with tater tots.

One of my go to places in North Houston. Just a true burger joint should be. Very simple menu, with all the add on's you would need. The have outside dining along with indoor seating. Beer is also served.

It's a small cozy place, dim and a large screen for sporting events. The hospitality of the waitresses was amazing, they treated me nicely and even gave me water (large water). They consistently asked me if I needded something else. Waited around 10-15min for 4 burgers and fries. So now to the taste, it's really good the meat was delicious and the sweet potato fries were really good. I give it 5 stars because of the hospitality and the food.

We were going to go on a dinner date at a popular, well known restaurant. However, when we got there, the wait time was ridiculous and it was just so loud and chaotic. My boyfriend googled and found this place. I'm so glad that we gave it a try. It was very small inside, but so cozy and quaint. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting. The service was superb. The waitress was so patient and kind. She made sure to check on us several times. The food was amazing. I had a grilled chicken sandwich and my boyfriend had a cheeseburger. The chicken was cooked perfectly. It was juicy, tender and flavorful. The cheeseburger was juicy, perfectly cooked and the toppings on the burger were fresh. My boyfriend said it's one of the best he's had. We both had onion rings, which were crispy and flavorful. We had the cheese sticks appetizer and oh my gosh, they were the best we've both had anywhere. They were cheesy and melty inside and so crispy on the outside. They flavor was phenomenal. Everything was fresh and tasted so flavorful. It is also very affordable. I couldn't say enough good about this place. Try it and youll be glad you did.
