Dairy Queen on FM 249, Houston Texas. Typical Dairy Queen. Good Hunger Buster burger. Cold today, so I tried the Chicken and Dumplings- - pass on this. Had a salty, soupy broth. Just not an acceptable Chicken and Dumplings. Still love DQ... And will be back again.

Very clean dining area. Food was brought to our table and came faster than expected. Staff was super friendly.

It saddens me to say that Dairy Queen seems to have lost the magic it once had. I used to be a loyal fan, particularly drawn to their delightful banana splits and irresistible blizzards. Those desserts were the highlights of my childhood, and they held a special place in my heart. However, recent experiences have left me disappointed. The quality that made Dairy Queen exceptional seems to have declined over the years. The banana splits, which were once a symphony of flavors and textures, now lack the freshness and care that made them memorable. The ice cream in blizzards, too, no longer carries that rich, creamy consistency I fondly remember. Customer service, another aspect that used to set Dairy Queen apart, has also taken a hit. The warmth and enthusiasm that once greeted customers seem to have diminished, leaving a lackluster impression. I share these observations with a heavy heart, hoping that Dairy Queen can recapture the essence that made them a beloved dessert destination. Perhaps a return to the passion for quality and customer satisfaction that defined them in the past can restore the joy they once brought to so many. Here's to hoping for a revival of the Dairy Queen we all used to love.

My medium Royal Chocolate Blizzard was just ok today. It might be nitpicky, but this is supposed to be their Royal version with a hole in the middle that’s filled with hot fudge. Mine was just a mixed up bunch of chocolate chunks and delicious soft serve ice cream. Don’t get me wrong it was still awesome and it scratched my itch. And this is still one of my favorite Dairy Queen’s in the northwest Houston area and I will definitely be back.

I love this location. Very good service from staff. Dining area and restrooms are kept very clean. The Alaskan Haddock is delicious and reasonably priced imo.

We got blizzards. My daughter loved the hot cocoa oreo blizzard, I loved the snickerdoodle cookie dough blizzard. They were awesome!

Unfortunately the blizzards here are more expensive than other DQ locations, and lower quality. This was the first time I've ever been served a Blizzard that was not flipped upside down, likely because it was so runny it never would have held up. Very disappointed. We usually like Dairy Queen, but we will not go back to this one.

This location puts a scarce amount of toppings and charges you for a spinkle of peanuts on top of their banana split. Most other DQ''s use pecans when they offer nuts as a topping. There was a little chocolate syrup on the bottom, I saw 2 pineapples, and not a single strawberry was included in the topping. You are basically paying over $6 for ice cream and a banana.

It depends on the time of day you go.. I recently went back to this location. I repeated no sauce, no condiments just dry, because of a mustard allergy after each order. I ordered 4 meals and some extra steak fingers. I even had the lady repeat my order back to me. I had to park and wait which is fine. But after waiting 10-15 minutes I get all 3 burger combos loaded with mustard.. I took it back inside and the manager and the workers got upset with me. I don't understand why you mad and yall trying to take me out with mustard.. worst experience at this location. Funny cause I did a review about a month ago saying that this location was the best. If I ever go back I will just check for who is working because no one wants to work but everybody wants a check.

How was I asked to pull up for a combo meal and a frito pie, and you leave the fries out of the bag. I waited for 5 minutes after I was asked to pull over, and my order was still not complete. SMH I first trip back to Dairy Queen in over 5 years might be my last.
