Great place for beer and food! Get a plate on the wall. Great service. Tuesday nights are trivia night. Lots of fun. Love coming here. The wings are great and so was the pretzel and fries!

We had a little time to kill before the airport so I thought we would stop by the Flying Saucer Draught Emporium to check out their tap selection. This place has a nice variety of tap, can, and bottle beers to suit just about any beer lovers taste. I was also pleasantly surprised to see a tap from home town Fair State (I love their beer). The service was fantastic, our bartender was friendly and offered advice on selections. It was my lucky day, another gentleman was tapping a new keg of Bells Hopslam and gave me a small pour, wow, amazing beer and amazing service. I was so impressed I bought a t-shirt, I will be repping the Flying Saucer on future taproom visits at a taproom near you!

One of the best bars I've been to in the USA. Excellent service, bar food, and selection of beers on tap. The wings were cooked to perfection and thick with meat. I was surprised to notice they didn't have any Stella Artois though. The workers were very nice and put on the Champions League for us

Awesome selection of beer including many locals, which is exactly what I came for. Food is fine but unremarkable, but that’s not why you’re here. The plates recognizing all the people that drink too much beer were cool - I’d definitely have one if I lived nearby.

The best and largest selection of beers in Houston. Nice environment and staff. Prices are quite reasonable for the quality. I recommend. The food is also good (my favorite is the Big Dipper), but I would suggest that they include some more "hunger killer" options in the menu.

Trifecta: they offer flights, have a very good selection, and list the menu listed on Untappd (the Untappd menu wasn't entirely up-to-date, but it was good enough to be useful).

First time here and it was a great experience. French dip was spot on! Beer was great! I had a local ipa and my wife had a mixed drink. It’s a place you must visit when in Houston!

The meat on their wings was partially crunchy and over cooked. Like it was left overs sitting out until the next day. My son and I are both sick( Details won’t be described)from it. The service was great though. Fire the kitchen though! I would love a reply from management.

From out of town and I really enjoyed this place. They have a large beer selection including local beers, prominent breweries across the country, and a good international selection. The specials were far better than you usually see these days and the pizza was great. Most importantly, my bartender was one of the happiest, friendliest people I have met. If I am ever in town again I will certainly return!

Fun place and not one to miss if you happen to be in town. Be warned but try the dogfish head if you’re brave enough. Quite tasty.

Great spot to come for a beer when you’re hanging or working downtown. Best spot for 100s of beers, actually. They even give you a plate with whatever you want to print on it if you drink 1-200 of their exotic beers from their extensive list.

Nice place but very crowded. Amazing beer options, though.

What an awesome spot for dinner. An AMAZING range of beers, great food and awesome service. I tried 2 IPAs and a Hazy, while my wife had 2 cocktails. We just had starters to share, but such a lovely meal. Can't wait to go back!

I love the Flying Saucer. So many choices of draft and canned/bottled beer. You can't go wrong! The specials on Sundays and Mondays make the beer cheap enough to try new beers. We shared a big pretzel. It was soft and warm and came with queso and mustard. So good! If you like the place enough sign up to be a Beerknurd and you can earn a plate for the wall just for drinking different beers! There is also one in Sugar Land. That's also a great place for spending time drinking good beer. Go to either and you won't regret it!

Been visiting since 2007 so they're definitely doing something right (yes, I'm biased)! Their staff is awesome and always happy to help you find the perfect beverage. Beers galore, including hard-to-find and special releases not found anywhere else, as well as the best beer events you'll ever find. And if you don't do beer, they also offer wine and cocktails. My favorites on their menu include the wings, Slow Dough pretzel, Rocket Tots (both loaded and 'unloaded'), Big Dipper (French dip), the Reuben, and always go with the German potato salad. Currently there's Frito Pie on the menu so that's my go-to, but you really can't go wrong with any of their options. Last, they're right off the Main Street rail in the heart of it all. Great for pregaming, post gaming, or just catching the game.

Good spot for a variety of beers. Outdoor seating is nice minus all the homeless people begging or sitting there. Always great friendly bartenders though.

We split a turkey sandwich and pretzel. The portions were generous. It was decent typical American pub food. All of the choices on the menu were greasy and heavy. The service was excellent and we got complimentary champagne for New Year's Eve which we greatly appreciated. We managed to find a place in the back where we could talk without having to scream over the obnoxious music.

We had a great time at this place. My family and I were in town for a Baseball game and decided to have a few drinks. We went here fairly late in the evening, probably 9:00. The crowd had died down a little, so it was a little quite. But the beer selection was amazing! We only had an appetizer, chips and queso, so I can't really comment on food. But the 4 of us had 2-3 rounds of drinks and enjoyed every one. If you like a large selection of beer and enjoy trying new things, definitely give this place a try! We would love to go back!

Great place to come and try out a new beer. Or you may be able to find a beer that you never thought you'd have again. I came on a Monday and all drafts are $4. I also tried the Reuben with Sweet potato fries and let me tell you it was one of the best I've ever had. The only one better than the one here was the one at Bucee's. But yes this place is amazing and must go to when in Houston on Main Street.

Nice place to have lunch in downtown Houston. There is secret menu which includes a yummy veggie sandwich. The wait staff seemed very attentive and the place was quiet for a sports bar, but I'm sure it is because we were there for lunch. It is big with plenty of tvs.

Food here was great, a large selection of beer. And the beer was so strong, I wasn't able to drive home that night haha. Great vibes and a great place to come hangout in downtown. I will more than likely return!

We dined here late on a Friday night. I was slightly disappointed they closed at midnight on a Friday night but we took advantage of the time we had to try various drinks and appetizers. The concept of the bar is unique and makes for an interesting experience. I recommend giving this bar a try whenever you’re downtown Houston.

Huge selection of beers. It's a full bar, but why would you order anything but beer? Grab a flight and test out several selections. If you order a Reuben, don't eat any fries before you bite into the sandwich. You might not want them after tasting it!

Our waiter was absolutely wonderful. They have their own homemade draft beers which was delightful to try. We also ordered a little cheese tray. Great experience!

Looking for beer? Look no further. By my estimate there are 200+ drafts, bottles, and cans on the menu.

I love flying saucer. Such a great company. I've been to the San Antonio and rock wall locations and this location is just as good if not better. I didn't not eat at this one, but the gentleman working the bar was very helpful and so kind.

The atmosphere is cool but the bartender (male) on December 23 was rude and not friendly at all. Bar was not busy and he had attitude! Also, I watched him pour 3 beers and then take off his mask and put his nose down to smell them as he did this his nose went into 2 out of 3 beers. Thank goodness they were not mine!! He then gave them to the waitress to give to a patron. Gross!!

Nice beer place. I asked for a Pile to start and it was really good, then I asked for a Lager and they said they only had one type and they brought again the same beer (pile) as before. For food I asked for the German plate. It was average on the low side. Not bad, but I wouldn't ask for it again. If you want to have a beer, this is a good place, if you want to eat ... I don't know ...
