Valet parking is $5. There is a business casual dress code. Very luxurious and prestigious environment for after work dinners with co workers, business dinners, or just fine dining on a date. Me and my cousin dropped in after shopping at Nordstrom. We were not aware of the dress code but they did not turn us away lol. I totally ate here in a crop top hoody and they gave me exceptional service like I was suited and booted. Got the grilled salmon blackened and well done. It was not well done but it was blackened. It came on a bed of green beans and I added rice. My cousin had the Tenderloin with two lobster tails melted in butter with a side of Au Gratin Potatoes. We loved the food and the service was always on time if not earlier. They don’t open until 5pm. We pulled up at 4:30pm and set in the car doing reviews on the previous places we visited before they opened 😁 lol. This is on Westheimer Galleria area. Pull up.

My husband and kids went to The Capital Grille at the Galleria to celebrate our 11th anniversary. Upon being seated at our reserved table, we found it to be decorated with celebration graffiti and a lovely anniversary card. We were pleasantly surprised. Our host for the evening was even more lovely. The food was perfect, ambiance calm and relaxing. The kids enjoyed their food, as did my husband and I. The level of care provided to us was amazing. We will definitely return.

Absolutely amazing!! Best bone-in ribeye I've ever had. The lobster mac & cheese is must! Roberto was our waiter and he was great! He made sure my birthday dinner was spectacular! Great food, wonderful service and elegant atmosphere! We will definitely return!

The waiter was not engaged in serving us, waiter did not ask how our food was, I wish he did because my steak had wayyyy too much pepper and I wasn’t expecting that. It wasn’t eatable unless I mixed the sides in with it after scraping off the pepper. I wasn’t going to take it back I just wish he showed some type of concern. drinks from the bar was not good food was ok, the sides and water taste better than the Maine course. Lamb chops was not seasoned at all. Bread was HARD AS HELL and the two that were soft taste like straight up dough. The building is pretty but I would not come back to eat.

We celebrated my husbands birthday here and our experience was fantastic. Our server made our dinner even more memorable. He was very nice and polite and he ensured that we had everything we needed. The food and drinks were also great 🙌🏾

The Capital Grille never disappoints. I made reservations for a birthday and was greeted with a decorated table. Our waiter, John, was very attentive and made sure we were well taken care of.

Great food...a few hiccups (surprised by this). Took asking 3 times to 3 different people to get lemons. Order the au gratin potatoes they were ice cold, but the serving plate was burning hot (which we were not told and I burned myself). Was never offered a refill on my water. Other than that it was very nice. The food was absolutely delicious and made up for the few hiccups.

Oh such fine dining with Master Chef presentation, quality, cook and taste. The mixed breads and special butter was amazing SEE THE PHOTOS! Special dark like pumpernickel, a sesame cris0, even mini sourdough like bun! I had the salmon and the top was crisp but the salmon still so tender and juicy - never had salmon cooked so perfect. The prices and portions were very good, especially considering the fine dining and atmosphere. The hostess and waiter were professional and I felt treated like royalty. Nice faint classic jazz in the back ground. They also do bookings in specia Rokus for private events! Would be a lovely location for a special family gathering or small special staff event!

Made reservations for one of my birthday dinners. Deanna G. had the pleasure of serving us. She was amazing! She greeted us with a smile, great energy, very attentive, positive attitude, constantly checked on us and made sure we had everything we needed. My table was decorated for my birthday with a birthday card. I think this is a very nice touch for those dinning for a special occasion. I will definitely be returning.

💯👍One of the best places to prepare for a more wonderful birthday is that they reward everyone who visits them with the most delicious things you can imagine and get, a charming atmosphere and a royal Victorian style from the inside, the orange lights that make you feel that a theatrical performance of Shakespeare will begin shortly

We visited CG in City Centre for my birthday and everything was excellent! From our server James who accommodated a large party, down to the food /drinks and cleanliness of the restrooms. The Lamb Chops w/ coffee rub and NY strip with the Courvoisier cream was some of the best. The sides are big enough to share with 3 people. It is a bit on the pricey side but was worth it for sure. I highly recommend.

I can't say enough about the Capital Grille, it was our first time eating at this location. Tony, our waiter gave us perfect service. We went for my wife's birthday. They decorated the table and they had a card waiting for her she loved it.

Went to the capital grill for my husband's birthday when we got there the table had Happy Birthday confetti all over it as well as a birthday card to him. The food was absolutely wonderful the steaks were cooked perfectly, the mascato was great, and The ambience was perfect! We also got a free dessert for my husband's birthday. Our waiter was absolutely wonderful, He was very attentive and tried to start up conversation. The only downside was we ordered a bottle of moscato to go they did not put it in a wine bag but put it in our food bag when we got home the wet bottle of moscato had made the paper bag wet and as my husband took our food out of the back seat the bottle of wine fell through and busted on our drive driveway. I called the next day to let them know and they did give us a complimentary bottle of wine to replace it.

Sat at the bar and Jonathan is great. If you’re pretty he’ll give you your food and drinks for free! The food was good. Lobster Mac and cheese tasted very good.

We ordered veal Tomahawk chop and lamb rib chops. The meat for both dishes was very soft and tasty. The rosemary taste in the Tomahawk chop was very strong that gave the meat a slight bitter taste. Also, both dishes were a little bit salty. Our water was even salt water! I dont know why. I think they like salt a lot in this restaurant. Overall, we liked the food, but you can find a better elsewhere with a much cheaper price

Honestly not great, not how I remember it. Bartender was getting crushed and service was slow because of it. Once manger got team to jump in, one lady had already left mid dinner. My steak had good flavor but was easily MW not MR, so of course it was dry. Spinach was good. Old fashioned was heavy handed on the simple syrup. Really want to like this place, I once looked up to it as one of the great steak houses in the city. Maybe I will try once more but at a table.

Went for Christmas Eve Dinner after church ⛪️ with the family. Had teeth same waitress as last year and she was again wonderful!!! Drinks were great! My parents ordered Oysters Rockefeller off menu and no problem. My dish Chicken with risotto was a bit bland, but service, salad and drinks were superb!!

The first time I went here I was alone just to try the place out. The second time I went with a party of 8 to celebrate my birthday. The first time I went the service and food were amazing. I think the ambiance here just doesnt do it for me. It's very stale and doesnt feel inviting.

Great experience! Service was top notch and everything you’d hope for in a steak house setting. The appetizer (crab & lobster cake) was sincerely one of the best I’ve ever had. The entree: while my ribeye in the balsamic vinaigrette was superb, the peppercorn was very pronounced on the Dry Aged NY Strip au Poivre with Courvoisier Cream. While very tasty it was somewhat overwhelming. Not inedible, but would not order again. The sides: Holy moly these sides were top notch. The lobster Mac n cheese was absolutely delicious and the Parmesan risotto (technically not a side listed on the menu but can be ordered) is a must get as well! Both of those were the highlight of the meal for me. Overall great experience and would 100% return!

The food was phenomenal. I had the butterflied lamb chops, mushrooms, sautéed spinach, and lobster Mac and cheese. The reason for the 3 stars was the bar service was not what I’m accustomed to. I had three drinks and had to send each one back. I miss the lady that used to be here all the time. She was the best bartender at The Capitals Grille.

Spot on. Amazing steak with lobster tail. Small oysters (from Maryland) have unique flavor and sweet. Seabass is great, too. Service is excellent. Love this place.

Everything was fine. The food and service have been better at other steakhouses in town. Del Friscos is certainly better. Maybe even Perry's. My wife is pregnant and her steak was undercooked. After about 10 minutes they came back out with the same steak. Probably microwaved it. That's fine for Texas Roadhouse, but I expect more from a steakhouse in this price range.

Atmosphere was great. The macaroni and cheese was the best I've ever had! And the filet mignon was also so delicious. Will definitely be back.
