March 2022 Have you ever been to a restaurant which fully satisfied your appetite and didn’t burn a hole in your wallet? This restaurant is exactly that. I tried this place during a weekday for lunch and I must say, I was impressed by the food and the price point. The restaurant is big and can easily accommodate big parties. They have a lunch special menu and that’s exactly what I tried. I got - chicken burnt garlic fried rice and chicken manchurian (it’s a dry dish). The lunch special comes with a soup (chicken and corn soup) and a salad, which were very tasty. The rice was superbly made and had that garlicy flavor. The chicken manchurian was nice and spicy. The restaurant was empty when I visited and the service was quick. The best part about this entire experience was the price coupled with quality and quantity of the food. They have a plethora of dishes to choose from and the lunch menu has some great options. They also have a separate dinner menu which has even more choices. There’s plenty of parking space available and I’d easily recommend this place to anyone given how reasonable this place is to try out for first timers, and experience the blend of Asian food.

If you ordered from here as "Karawok," know that it's under new management and they've changed the name and cut portion sizes in half (same Pad See Eaw entree pictured from 2021 and now). I know inflation is a thing, but cutting portions instead of raising prices is a deceptive way to raid existing customer goodwill, and while the food itself was about as good, it's now gone from cheap to overpriced.

The food was good but the service is slower than slow. There are like 2 people who work there total maybe 3 at best. They intentionally try not to make eye contact with you so that you don’t ask for anything. Once your food is on the table, you will have to beg for everything moving forward except for the bill. The first time I went it was better but the second time Omg 😳. Lol if you get your food to go your good. It’s set up really nice, the food is average but good for the prices and those spring rolls are hittin’

This was the best Thai food I have had in a long time. We LOVED the Pad See Ew and Pad Kee Mao. I ordered both medium spicy and they were perfect. The crispy spring rolls were also very good. We also tried the Chicken Manchurian and really enjoyed it. We will definitely order from them again!

Crappiest food and service I’ve ever experienced. South Indians can only make dosa/idly sambar, the rest are bad attempts at best. If you don’t enjoy food you’re in the right place! Best of luck!

Went with a friend for a late dinner, we were the on folks in the dining room but there seemed to be a pretty brisk take out scene. The server was friendly and attentive which was expected. The food was great, we went with spicy level 2 which was just enough for me and friend. I’d be afraid to see what 5 is. We shared some spring roles that were great. I had the Shrimp Pad Thai and it was great as well. My friend enjoyed her dish as well. I think this is more of a weekday lunch spot but the food and service were good.

Second time here, I came in for lunch today and not sure how they keep the business running and it’s hardly anyone in there. Food came out decent. I’ll definitely come back again.

My friend and I couldn't decide on a place to eat because we were both in the mood for different foods. Well Google to the rescue again and we found this restaurant which satisfied both of our needs. This place offered Thai, Indian and chinese dinners. For an appetizer we went with the veggie samosas which we really since the potatoes in it hold heat. For my entree I was so craving some pineapple fried rice which was super tasted. I cant remember what my friend ordered but I helped myself to his too.

By far the best halal thai food in Greater Houston. My favs are green curry, pad thai, basil fried rice, pad see eaw, taste of ginger, … the list goes on! The place is cozy and empty. The order comes pretty fast. Waiters are polite and kind. The only critism I have is that sometimes they mix-up the spice level in your order. Make sure to clarify and re-state it to the

My first time trying Thai food so I don't have anything to go off of, that said, the food was pretty good. I gor the medium spiced chicken Pad Thai and the sticky rice. The spice level was a little more than I could handle but the Pad Thai was delish regardless.

I had dinner there today. The service and the food are very good. I got the soft veg spring rolls and vegetable tofu red curry. The taste was perfect with the medium spice per my request. Will visit the place again. They are changing the name to Cafe Kottu soon.

I went there looking at the review, and ordered red curry and special fried rice. The taste was 3 stars for me. The taste was not tasty as thai nor tasty like indian. I did not find enhancing taste due to the fusion. Its just my personal opinion. Someone else might like it more. The staff was nice and the food was good, they tried their best. I give 5 star for their effort.

The best of the best. When it comes to Thai cuisine, nobody does it better than this elegant, classic restaurant. The food is fantastic and the ambiance just perfect for any type of event. My all time favorite has been the Red Curry and the diverse Asian fusion plates that go from masalas to curry sauce offerings without skipping a beat. Try it because I am sure you will love it.

I received a tiny bowl of fried rice. I asked for chicken, there is hardly any chicken. I asked for it to be spicy, there is almost no flavor and definitely 0 spice. The kicker, this small bowl of rice, was $15. Not coming back.

Very good Pad Thai! My GF really liked the Dumplings. Good portions and clean restaurant. Like a lot of places in Houston it's excessively air conditioned though so bring a jacket.

Terrible experience. My family came in while in the area, and the place was nearly a ghost town. Still, we stood at the counter and waited with our 3 small kids for 15 minutes just to be seated. The drinks are served in plastic solo cups or cans of coke. Waitress took our order and we waited 45 minutes for our first dish to come out totally wrong. The restaurant was unclean- including dirty tables that sat that way before and after we left, a cockroach in the bathroom, no soap, and a general layer of filth. I came for the reviews of "the best pad thia" but i should have just left. The pad thia had 4 pieces of undercooked shrimp and most of the noodles were still very hard from being undercooked. The flavor of the dish was lacking and what should have been moderate spice was cranked to almost inedible. I waited tables for a long time. The general appearance of the restaurant, the lack of customer service, and the shoddy food were enough to warrant a bad review. I wouldn't reccomend this place. Its not just one thing that needs to be fixed. Its the whole place.

Placed online order on their website. Card got charged. Come to pickup and the restaurant is closed. Phone lines don’t work including the other branch. Can’t get hold of anyone. Waste of time and can’t find a way to get the $$ back as can’t speak to anyone. Don’t waste time. Didn’t even take effort to update online hours or shutdown online ordering system from their website.

It's HALAL!! Great service and hospitality. Ordered CRISPY SPRING ROLL and it was bomb!! It's real crispy and the sauce is light but enough to compliment the roll. Also ordered PAD THAI with beef, was ok, beef was perfectly cooked, but the taste was too sweet for my preference. We can ask for spicy level of this pad Thai (1-5) and level 3 was no spicy at all, as a spicy lover, I should go for the max! Hehe.. drank Chai because it was cold and raining, great one, the spice is well mixed and not too overwhelming. For sure will come again!! Next will try the Indian menu.

Went for lunch today and clearly the place has gone downhill. I asked for couple of dishes, both not available, ordered a fried rice that said ones with a vegetable gravy. Get the rice, no gravy and when asked the answer is we are not serving it today!!! No apologies or anything, just that. I used to come here often before covid and I understand things have been difficult, but I expect to be told of menu changes before I order, not after when I have No choice. Tipped and left. Will not be returning.
