Nu Ice is the best shaved ice in Houston! It is Taiwanese shaved ice which is like fluffy ice cream. Super easily shareable. My partner and I love the green tea flavor with boba and strawberries! The drinks are pretty good too if you want something super sweet! The service is good and fast!

Decent milk tea, but by far not the best. Milk tea with boba turns out much sweeter than other places - by aware and order less sugar than you normally do. However, the prices are unbeatable. Worth a stop if you’re in the area and don’t have much time. Otherwise, I’d recommend to make the trip to Chinatown for a really good boba. Didn’t try the shaved ice though

This is the spot! My girlfriend (who had never tried it before) loved customizing her mountain of ice and had a great time. We shazam’d two songs from their great playlist and had a very friendly server.

Our first visit to Nu Ice & Drinks was fantastic. It's such a cute place with so many selections. We loved the Lychee Green Tea with Jellies. We can't wait to return to try other treats.

Nothing Nu or extraordinary but it gets the job done. The place is clean and the drinks were decent. Not sure I’d come back again but it was able to satisfy my boba fix. The bathroom was clean. Total spend was $19 on all three items plus tip. Parking was easy, the shopping center it’s in has plenty. The drinks came out pretty quick and there was comfy indoor seating.

Although during our last visit the AC was struggling, we still enjoyed all the delicious treats we came for ♡ the taro & dreamsicle were our favs.

Really fun drink and dessert options! Loved all the fresh fruit options and mochi. The lychee shaved ice and Thai tea was a bit too sweet for my taste, but will try a fresh fruit option next time. The servings are huge and definitely shareable! The store itself was messy with tables left unclean for over an hour after guests left, which took away from the atmosphere and wanting to stick around without getting sticky

This was surprisingly DELICIOUS! We had the coffee flavored shaved ice with sliced strawberries, bananas, lychee jellies and Nutella drizzle. O...M...G...it was soooooo good! Great service, nice atmosphere, friendly staff, GREAT treats with a diverse clientele. This is a must try!

Simple decor, ample seating area for big and small groups, and friendly staff. I love the green tea shaved ice. So glad to have found a place that sells flavored shaved ice. I could taste the green tea in the shaved ice. It was so delicious. Chocolate and mochi pair well with green tea, thus my topping choices. The Hill size is perfect for one. I also had the Super Mango smoothie with rainbow jelly. So so good. The smoothie is blended with real fruits! This is a perfect dessert place. I would come back for more.

Convenient for dessert after eating hot pot next door at Happy Lamb. Drinks are good and consistent. Customer service is good. Just a low-key, chill spot for hanging out if you want to. I love their Half and Half drink. You can customize the sweetness if you'd like.

Delicious boba is one thing. Hidden prices is another. Poor/ rude service is yet another. I ordered a green tea with boba which stated 2.99. The guy behind the counter rang up 4.xx. Upon a closer look, I realized there was an extra charge for boba (common practice and I am totally ok with that) and another charge for making it a medium sized. Nobody asked me what size I wanted?! I requested for a small instead. He obliged in transfering the drink to a smaller cup. I am pretty sure the rest of it went into the sink but thats their business to administer. In the meantime, while my husband was ordering another drink, he sternly demanded “Medium or Large?” We thought that was rude! And didn’t like that attitude. Customer service went for a toss. While we like good boba, we also like friendly, non-threatening, relaxing experience. The drink was good so take three stars.

Delicious flavors. A very large (we got “hill” size). Anticipate spending about $5-$7. These desserts can easily be shared.

The staff is very nice and friendly. But the place was bit dirty and not recommended to sit and eat. Best to do is take out. We had king kong milk tea which was a complete hit. But the ice cream was a let down for me.

Great place to get shaved ice. We tried the coconut with mangos and strawberry sauce. We also tried the Godzilla Bubble Tea which was also yummy. Very tasty!

Awesome place! Just found my favorite drink in the world! I have been definitely been missing out on honey boba bubbles.

Definitely not your typical shaved ice. We really enjoyed this. It’s a much different way to eat boba since not using a straw, They have many different flavors but we got the green tea. Loved the sweet and condensed milk drizzled on top of the green tea shaved ice. 100% would go again to try all the other flavors.

King Kong Milk Tea is the absolute yummiest!!! The honey boba is the best I’ve tasted so far. Tried the Vanilla Milk ice cream today. Pretty good.
