Nice place to stop in. We ride through here along the Bayou and found this is a good place to regroup. It's hard to miss and has good access to the street and trail system.

Yet another underutilized park space in Houston. Every time I've visited, there are practically no other people around. Which is nice for photographers, but I'd love to see people using it more often. It's a pretty space.

Great place to catch pokemon, I wish it was cleaner and had more trash bins. Please clean the river bank, it will make it 10x better, nice shaded area. Maybe have doggy poop bags too? Homeless people are here every now and then which is depressing. Overall it's nice.

Accessibility was a small issue, but other than that I had a great day.

Love the view from the George Bush Statue across the Bayou to the James Baker Statue. Best to have a bicycle if you want to get around on the trail. Not sure of the perimeter of the park, but the Bush Statue is by the old downtown post office.

Sesquicentennial Park is a nice public space located in downtown Houston, adjacent to Buffalo Bayou. The park has ample access to the Buffalo Bayou Hike and Bike Trail as well as seating and beautiful green lawn. There's even free public wifi. As a bonus, this area of downtown is rife with numerous historical remnants. I highly recommend taking a few moments to enjoy.

This park presents a beautiful juxtaposition with the scenic park surrounded by dense urban area on all sides including above. It was pleasant to walk though even when it was unnaturally cold outside. A great place to run and have fun. I would also recommend visiting the systern at the Buffalo bayou area.

Find the calm in a thriving Houston. The redevelopment and flood control levies have enhanced the area for pedestrians and commerce.

A calm park with a big hill to roll down on or walk on too as well also get ready to get bombarded by ducks!

Beautiful park but needs more trash cans. There’s a large homeless population and a lot of litter and parts that reek of urine—

This park was more than amazing for its free fishing. Besides free fishing it has jogging and bicycling and walking trails. You should try the free fishing you don't need a permit and it's great for canoeing.

I went here at night and it was beautiful however there was no lighting so I would suggest coming in the day. Yet it was very romantoc and great for my date
