What can I say. This is one of houstons best parks. Always such a good time here from the people watching to the activities. It's a must do park.

Views, friendly locals and visitors, events plus a many things to do. The famous Cistern is here but there's more. Rent bikes, bring your skate boards or simply walk/hike/run/bike the expansive trails. Rent paddle boards and kayaks. Yup. So much to enjoy the outdoors. Dress for the heat between April and October. Enjoy

This place is always crowded with kids. I love the view here. Good place for relaxing, running and hanging with friends and family. They keep this place pretty clean and pretty. I’ve also tried kayaking here and it was super fun.

This is a really cool park that I will definitely return to explore more of. Went for Jazz In The Park recently and the vibe was chill. Being newbie, I wasn’t prepared for the parking limitations up close and I would definitely bring my cooler . Overall the park was clean, they had food trucks out front and there was no drama.

Simply love this place and all the trails are neverending and beautiful.... way to much to see in a day. I've been there several times and I still haven't explored it all yet... Looking forward to going back again...plenty things to do and see for all ages.

This is my go-to spot for a nice evening or a picnic on a weekend. Great atmosphere, there's a volleyball court, and great skyline views. It feels like a mini escape right in the middle of the city!

First time at this park with my family from Canada and it was just amazing. The time and day we picked was just perfect. There was just the right amount of crowd and the weather was very pleasant. We decided to go around 6:30 in the evening so to ensure the weather was not too hot. The park has amazing views of downtown Houston. There is a stage where they do events and it seems very roomy. The park is so big and it has multiple trails for walking, biking and even kid friendly trails which was super cool. They have proper signage all throughout the park so you can keep track of where you are. There is also a skatepark here and its massive. The park had so many spots to take beautiful pictures with the family. We had a great time and so did our kids.

Amazing splash of greenery amidst the Houston city scape. Their stage is perfect for bboys to session. If you want to see some impressive feats of musicality and athleticism, just stop by at night. The patio is nice as well, with a great view of the adjacent trail and skate park.

Great venue! Great area. The Cistern is amazing. The Water Works stage is very nice. The skate park is really well done. With all this to do, but there is a *very* limited amount of *only* 3 hour parking. Took 30 minutes to find a spot to park. Kind of frustrating, but still a great place to go.

Got to visit the cistern for the first time today. A very beautiful place for a hole in the ground! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and the art installation was incredible. Make reservations for a Thursday afternoon when it's free to visit.

I went to the Margarita Festival that was held here and it was amazing. I really enjoyed myself. It was a decent amount of people, very spacious and not too crowded. They kept the event cleaned and the staff was friendly and made you feel comfortable. I did not see a public restroom, but it may have been closed due to the event. They did have portable ones.

Awesome open air venue. Perfect space for festivals! Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy!!! Bugs weren't too bad despite being near the bayou, but there's not a lot of shade so be prepared for fun in the sun! 😎

Beautiful private-public sectored park for recreation and events, namely Houston Sports & Social Club - a great special interest of Greater Houston

Cistern itself is a very brief tour but interesting to look at it. A bit pricey, in my view, for what you get. Still, if you're a visitor and looking for something to do, not bad. However, we had our car smashed and a small backpack stolen out of it while there. Be careful, and make sure anything - even a small, nondescript backpack - is secured in the trunk (if your car has one).

What an interesting quirky tour. Who would believe a water cistern would be so good. There is more than one tour you can take. Ours was the basic that took about 25 minutes.
