We went to Savoy restaurant for my husband's birthday. This was our first time there. The food was very good. They have great choices for non-vegetarian food. My suggestion is to have more vegetarian options! Excellent hospitality by the manager, Jawed, and his staff. They also gave us complimentary desserts (Rasmalai, gulabjamun, zarda). Definitely gonna come back again!

I am highly impressed by the service provided by jawad along with the awesome food. I tried halwa puri and chicken aachari with khandari bullet naam which is a secret item in menu available on weekends only. Desert is out of the world. It made my Sunday. I would highly recommend Savoy restaurant.

Favorite indo-pak restaurant, flavors explode in your mouth. Excellent service been coming here for years and always enjoy every bite. Definitely recommend this restaurant. Must try Special grill platter, Mixed vegetable curry, chapati this food never disappoints. 10/10 🌟 every single time.

Amazing service. Came in to celebrate my sisters birthday (we didn’t tell the staff until it was time for dessert) the manager overheard and came to us to offer each of us (party of 4) anything we want completely complementary. Great energy and the food itself was delicious. Last time we came here we were kids but this just made me want to come here regularly

We ordered bihari kabob, goat Karahi, with gandhari Naan. Everything was delicious not only that the service was excellent. Especially the manager Mr. Jawaid was really friendly and gave us outstanding service. I would highly recommend.

Drove down to Houston for a small trip away from Dallas and stopped at out of our regular spots at Savoy. Have been coming here for awhile now and are sure to visit whenever we are in Houston. This time was no exception, the moment we arrived in Houston this was the first place we went for Lunch and got the Butter Chicken, Nihari, Chicken Korma, and Mint Margherita everything was delicious. The next night we just got back from Galveston and again decided to visit Savoy, as usual got Butter Chicken, Peshawari Chicken, and Haleem. On both of these visits Mr. Jawaid who was the manager, welcomed and really took care of us, he is a very hospitable and generous individual. I wish there was more management like him in every restaurant! On both occasions he gave us a complimentary items like an extra mint Margherita or some (hard to find) zarda (sweet rice) and ensured that everything was perfect. This is possibly the worst Indian/Pakistani restaurant I’ve ever come across. I’m a truck driver so I had to specially drive there just so I could get some good food but that wasn’t the case. My butter chicken had so much oil I couldn’t even finish it. Not to mention, I was given no utensils with my order. My chicken seekh kebab tasted really bad too. I really had my hopes up for this place, The food was really bad. Don’t waste your money.

I placed this order last month and after seeing my review they replied me saying the order got mixed up because of large number of orders that time. But let me ask you? Did u see the quality of the Nan? How much burned it is??? I can understand may be the order got mixed up? But how the quality gets compromised? Don’t come up with lame excuses. Also they replied me saying they gonna reimburse the money back and it’s been a month after their reply, nothing happened. They wanted to show like they took care of the problem but actually nothing is happening, and once you did a review Google won’t let u reply or post another review about the same store. So basically no one knows what happened after their reply saying it’s been taken care of. I have to edit and repost my old review to inform this to public. Guys, in their replies it seems like every problems have been taken solved but I believe it’s all fake. From my experience it is just to show the public and nothing is really happening. Such a fake place, beware.

Bun kabab - 👎 Chicken bihari roll - 👎 We drove 1000 miles to arrive in Houston for an extended food tour. Savoy was the 14th stop on this tour, and we had high hopes, especially for their renowned chaat dishes. Our disappointment began when we arrived around 8pm and were informed that the chaat menu had stopped being served at 7pm. This information was nowhere to be found on their website, social media, or even posted at the restaurant entrance. I was perplexed and frustrated, and wondering how patrons were supposed to know about such critical information. Feeling desperate, I asked if an exception could be made, especially considering we were from out of town and might not have another opportunity. To our dismay, we were told that there was no manager on site who could accommodate such a request. Despite our disappointment, our hostess, Sirisha, was pleasant. However, the substitute dishes we ordered, a bun kabab and a chicken bihari roll, were subpar in taste and far from satisfying. The lack of communication about their closing time for certain dishes and the absence of a manager on site to address our concerns left us with a deflated experience. For a restaurant known as the OG of Pakistani cuisine in Houston, this was quite disappointing. Hoping they improve their communication and consistency to ensure a better customer experience in the future. For this, I can only part with three stars.

Way over-priced (seems like we are paying a COVID surcharge now) and the food quality has been going down-hill for years. Don't know why I went there after avoiding them for six months for the same reasons. Ordered a Chicken Tikka priced $8.65. Waited almost 20 minutes and what I got was a inedible spicy tikka from hell with a red color marinate on it. Threw it away after taking a few bites; all I could taste was excessive spice and honestly felt like they reheated a old tikka. I have decided to never go there again. It shouldn't be my responsibility to throw away my money to subsidize a over-saturated and money-draining desi restaurant industry. Get some pre-made masalas and cook your own food....

Great place, great food. The service was very good. Manger Jawad was very welcoming and gave us really good service. Bahri boti was delicious. I came all the way from Dallas to try this restaurant and it didn’t disappoint us.

Exceptional customer service by Amir. He is so friendly and jolly. The food here was excellent especially the dishes recommended by Amir... chicken bihari kebab, nihari, Hyderabad karahi, and all the tikka items were excellent l. Worth the drive of 3.5 hrs from San Antonio!!! Very much recommended 👌

We have been coming to Savoy for years. It is very authentic, consistent & flavorful food. Order anything off of the menu & you will not be disappointed. Everything is always fresh. Their tea has a subtle aromatic taste. Usually enjoy it with dessert. Very clean. The staff is always very attentive & kind. If you’re looking for a fantastic Indian restaurant, look no further. Definitely a hidden gem.

Taste of food was good. I would recommend trying special BBQ platter. The only thing which needs improvement is cleanliness. Overall the booth, tables , trays were not very clean.

Delicious authentic Indian food. More importantly, the Floor Manager Javed makes the whole experience much better. A good friend recommended and it didn't disappoint. He has been coming here for 2 years for good reason. The Chicken Tikka Masala was amazing, the Goat Pulav was delicious and we had some grilled Chicken that was the best I've ever had. If you like Indian food or even want to try it this place is a must.

Found my new favorite South Asian restaurant. Everything we ordered was phenomenal. Kahari Goat, Garlic Naan, Chicken Biryani, Special Grilled Platter and Mango Mojitos. The desserts were tasty as well. Manager Jawaid was very hospitable and service was on point. Highly recommend.

Best In Houston and if you are visiting this city, you should visit this restarunt for the authentic Pakistani flavour. Their service is A+ and overall you feel like you made a good choice of visiting this restarunt. Try this malai falooda which is absolutely delicious. Ahmer and juwaid took good care of us

I had my birthday dinner here with hubby and this was the best choice. We were greeted as soon as we entered and everyone was so attentive from the time we entered to the time we left the restaurant. Food - truly amazing. We were given carrots and onions as a starter with 2 amazing sauces. Omg those were the best. We loved every dish but my favorite was the goat chops. It was so flavorful. My husband loved the biryani. He thought it was so addictive. The naan and shrimp masala was also equally good. We had to drive an hour and a half to get here but it was totally worth it considering Houston traffic. I am so glad we came here today.

Food and service was great!!! Price was fabulous. Everything was delicious, we have been coming here for over 6 years and it never disappoints. The manager Javad was so attentive! Highly recommend it.

Ordered their Weekday Specials of Goat Khorma, side order of Muttton Kheema & Dal Gosht. All the dishes were delicious and their food Quality was superb and just the right spice, the serving per plate is very generous with a lot of meat. My personal favorite is their Mutton Kheema in Red Masala which takes me back to the Bombay Kheema Pav Days with Double Fried Eggs & Broon Pav.. Great Job and kudos to my personal friend Chef Raza … we will definitely be back soon again

Total desi in Houston. Very good and authentic place for Indian/Pakistani food. Delicious food, taste and quantity are very good. Service is also good. Satisfying experience.

The best restaurant in town, incredible food and amazing service. I suggested this place, so that's how we end up here. No regret non what so ever. Every dish were so delicious. We tried different dishes and deserts. Since this is our first visit . The prices compare to other restaurants, it’s very reasonable.

This is by far one of the best restaurants in terms of customer service and quality of food. Restaurant manager, Mr. Jawaid went above and beyond to make this a pleasure dine in. Highly recommended

Ordered Goat Biriyani and Chicken Tikka Leg online. The goat biriyani was good, but the chicken tikka leg was very dry. Though they provided raita, onions, and salad, still the tikka leg felt dry. The price is okay. The quantity of the biriyani was huge enough for 2 people which was convenient for us.

Hands down best BEST BEST halwa poori in Houston. John brother was too good and he made sure we got an excellent service. Highly recommended. They have won my all stars. Amazing food

The food was delicious. And the service was amazing. Special Mr Salim, Ms Rubi are wonderful, very welcoming. At the end you must try sweet pan from there. The quality was impressive. I would highly urge, anyone looking for delicious food, and wonderful service, sweetest pan, must try savoy.

My wife has been coming to this restaurant with her dad since She was 10 yrs old.and I can only say that I love this place so much .the food here is extremely good.not too spicy and not too bland,plus the customer service is very kind and caring.

Possibly the best Indian and Pakistani cuisine restaurant I’ve been to. Johnson is the best! Very patient and helpful. The bullet naan was the delicious and so fresh.

Authentic food, decent pricing, good portions. Two stars deducted because consistency of food tends to vary. Some days very good and their seasoning is on point while on otherdays it might be bland and overcooked. Customer service could also use work, sometimes employees are rude. Would definitely recommend you try it out at least once though.
