So many great things! Where to start? Lemonade, I am not a lemonade guy. Never will be. But this pink lemonade blew my socks off. No wonder they call this place stack Burger, the Burger was stacked! Juicy! Delicious! All the flavors came through like a classic big boy Burger is supposed to. Hot, with melted cheese and all the fresh fixings inside. Bun toasted to perfection. And there's more, the fries! Seasoned just right. Hot! And no condiments needed, that good!. This Burger joint is on the best corner for optimum view of downtown. Service with a smile and fast fantastic delicious food to boot! Stack Burger, you got yourself a new regular!

Juicy and tasty burger for under 10 bucks! Nice cheese to meat to bun ratio and nice thickness since its between a smash burger and a normal one. I enjoyed everything about it but was not wowed by anything in particular other than the very good price. The lady at the window was very kind and helpful. Next time I will try some of the sides since they have some good reviews.

Great little burger joint located in downtown Houston. Double Stack w/cheese, fries n drink hit the spot. Not too big and not too small. Will be back soon

Worst burger place I’ve ever been too. My hamburger tasted like fish and I knew I shouldn’t have ate it but I did and now both me and my boyfriend are sick. I would not eat here, unless you feel like having food poisoning.

Not just a burger joint. They serve breakfast tacos too with fresh original home made salsa, and both hot and iced coffee that could jump start your pickup.

Nice lady at the front. Burgers are good but the patty is as thick as a slice of cheese. I would definitely recommend double meating it or even triple meating it, especially when you're super hungry. 😐 I dont think $11 for the cheeseburger meal is a decent price considering it isn't much that you get.. i'm guessing inflation for the ingredients?

this rating is based on the price. it's a good deal. very nice burger and the fries were tasty. for the money it is an excellent place for a quick burgers and fries. I got a coke and the drink was fizzy and cold and was an excellent fountain drink on a hot day

The food is just okay. One thing I did like is that everything is fresh. The fries and the meat lack seasoning.

I had always passed by this square boxy looking shack at the corner of St Joseph and Louisiana Street in downtown, never did I think that I would have an incredible classic cheeseburger like I did just now. I highly recommend it to anyone who really appreciates a classic All-American cheeseburger. They definitely do use Angus beef and for $12 and some change for a combo which includes a drink and fries a coma it is truly an amazing burger. The beef was also seasoned perfectly, may I add. Dare I say it's better than In-N-Out and Whataburger all together. They are not stingy with all of the fixings and everyone should try Stack Burger at least once. Wow.

Excellent service and quality! I've been on back to back days, and the Double Stack wrapped in lettuce, with added bacon, is delicious and prepared with precision. Highly recommended for the variety of items on the menu too!

Great burger stand on the edge of downtown with a breakfast and lunch menu. Excellent burgers!!! Generous portion fries all cooked to order when you order it. They just added a few outside umbrella covered tables. It's a small "Hamburger Stand" so no inside dining. Order for take out or eat in parking lot there. Very clean, owner operated, friendly staff. My only wish is that they would make the condiments accessible to customers so they can get what they desire rather than have to ask. I use lots of napkins and like lots of ketchup for my fries. Go check them out in the colorful building on the corner.

Before you go, just know there's outside seating only, it's a walk up and order place. We didn't know until we got there but so glad we tried it anyway. It was SO GOOD. Food was made fresh as we ordered, the burger was probably the best I've had in recent memory, and the loaded fries were just as good. The lady at the front was so sweet and friendly. I highly recommend stopping by!!

The only reason I'm giving a poor review is because they did not post on their website they were closing early the week between Christmas and New Year. Houston is more than 2 hour away from us, so we planned our trip outing there based on website information. We were really disappointed to see that they were closed early and had to scramble to find another place that had food my picky brother-in-law would eat.

Great family owned burger joint. Hidden jewel in the downtown transit center area. Decorated with local artist grafitti. Priced great and great tasting options.

Not a bad burger, style is similar to an In-n-out burger but not as good. Service was quick and food was hot and made to order which was definitely a plus! Good place to eat close by to the Houston Passport Agency. Fries were ok but were probably just bulk frozen fries with some seasoning added. Burger was a little bland and their “stack sauce” didn’t seem to be too flavorful or they didn’t add enough, All around burger I would give a 7.5 out of 10, but good enough for a return visit. The building is being remodeled but they have a walk up window to place your order. They only have a small area to eat outside with wood benches and narrow bar style tables for seating under umbrellas which is pretty uncomfortable but doable for a place to sit.

Good burger! just the right size. Seating is outdoor only so only good for fair weather days. Although it would be worth the walk to bring it back to the office.

Food was fresh and well seasoned. The stack sauce is light and complements the burger very well. The burger had a great portion of meat and cheese for the price. Amazing customer service. The employee was very polite. The Vietnamese coffee had the perfect ratio of coffee and sweetness.

  • 2/5 Rayven S. 7 months ago on Google
The lady was very nice, but they ran out of things we wanted. Tea and Vietnamese coffee, the burger was nasty (thick bun, thin patty, plenty of veggies) and fries was refried or out the bag…… Ants was everywhere outside so we couldn’t sit, can’t go inside so no bathroom!!! this was my first and last time to visit Rate a 2 out of 10

Probably the most underrated burger place in Houston. It’s probably top 2 or top 3 in the city up there with Champ Burger. Classic burger with perfect burger sauce. Always get the double. Great seasoned fries. And they’re also very consistent

Without a doubt one of the best burgers you can get for under $10. Hot, juicy, delicious, almost erotic if you ask me. Will definitely be back. Try the loaded fries with a double stack.

Great food and service! Would recommend to anyone. Wish we were local so we could come back more frequently. Next time we’re in Houston we will be stopping here again!

I am really glad I happened across this place. I've been looking for good, reasonably priced burgers for a while (Like Champ Burger). Stack Burger was really delicious. The buns held up well through a drive back to work and the entire meal. The meat and consequently the burger was not way too overly oily and dripping it wasn't too lean either it was just right. I've already been back a few times and this place will be a staple for me at lunch going forward.

The staff was very friendly and professional with a smile. Other customers where outside having a great time outside patio atmosphere was great. It was during construction of the parking garage and other nearby structures so it was noisy but still could enjoy it. Food is not sitting under a warmer. Fries and burger are amazing reminded me of an in and out burger. Will return for more..

Food is decent but got a few rotted fries & my burger had rotted lettuce. Showed the lady at the register & she says they'll try better next time.

Just moved to Texas and honestly I haven't been too impressed with some restaurants people hype up. This definitely lives up to the hype. I also have IBS, so I never know how my body will respond to new places. My body feels great after that delicious meal! Will return!

The double cheeseburger is great, the coffee is great. Decently priced, the building and atmosphere of the place makes the trip. It's unique.

Hands down the best place for burgers in Houston. Fast service, fresh ingredients, and the owner is super attentive and has a passion for great service and great food.

Made fresh and tasted great but kind of small portion. Had single stack w/cheese, fries, drink. Fast service too.

The burger was good. Pretty basic lol but if you're here there's no reason to go to a big fast food place. They also have all day breakfast

The burgers are great! Simply delicious double cheeseburger, fries and drink.Burgers are always juicy! As I'm hooked on the burger/fries,I never tried anything else! They serve breakfast all day according to menu...But just get the double stack combo.Youll be pleased!

Basic. Nothing special, I could’ve kept me $12 and made this at home. But the cashier was nice if that adds anything.

Good price, good burger, fast and friendly service. Hard to find good food that under 10$. Here you get a good tasty burger combo for under $10. Hope they bring back their full menu soon, i would come for lunch more often.

I absolutely love this place! There’s no dine in option only a patio bench. The owner is very friendly and accommodating! I love their bulgogi fries with a fried egg on top! The fries are seasoned to perfection and they’re good with or without ketchup. Great place for a lunch, beware sometimes the wait is a little long but it’s worth the wait!
