I’ve been a member of this gym for over two years and I just got my wife to join this past summer. But we Just found out through another member at the gym that the owner has increased prices and did not notify the members. The billing cycle changed from a month to 28 days. We were paying 64.95 a month vs 17.50 a week. If you do the math that’s a $130 increase on your yearly expenses for the gym. Prices increased and all we got was a new app to use when we check in. When wanting to reach out to ask why this happened I noticed the company changed the way you could contact the owner. You used to be able to contact management directly with your needs but now you have to fill out a form for them to respond to you. Not interested in staying here anymore. My wife and I will start looking for a new gym.

My first time here I took a HIIT class with Teresa. She's amazing and I'll definitely be back. Everyone here was so welcoming and I love the fact that there is designated parking! ♥️♥️

Fine gym! Awaiting renovations to finish at the heights location. This is a fine substitute for now! Big powerlofting area. Plenty of squat racks. Good variety of machines. Staff has always been friendly, and the place clean every time I've gone. If this is the nearest gym for you, I'd say join up and get lifting!

Honestly love this gym (I've never said this about any gym in my life). Community of young professionals and long time Eado residents with class variety. Love my cycle classes with Lauren and strength workouts with Duy. It is clean and not super packed at peak hours.

I visited with a friend and got two day passes when I visited him in houston. I started receiving charges for 211 dollars for a family plan multiple times. Still working through the process of getting it refunded. Such an inconvenience.

I absolutely LOVE Facet Seven! I have always been very intimidated by the gym, but the environment the staff and everyone there creates is so welcoming! I do personal training with Mekel and I can’t express how much he has changed the way I think about working out. He makes me excited to work out and see results! I strongly suggest him for all your personal training needs! If you are looking for a personable, neighborhood gym…then look no further! It truly is a family there.

Owner was totally AMAZED when I explained to him that lying to customers will make them angry. Was told multiple times that Kim Barbell was in the building and come to find out that they weren't. Whenever I asked where Kim Barbell met it was confusion and strange looks. I had no intention of ever signing up for Facet Seven but the employee lied to me and told me Kim Barbell was in the building which TO THIS DAY I'm not sure is even real. Please make sure customers are aware of this and stop baiting and switching customers.

If you are looking for a great gym to finally work out, caters to people of all ages, all physiques, all levels of athleticism, look no further! I have been coming to Facet for the last three months to train with Coach Mekel and it has been the best decision. I no longer have an excuse to not work out. The gym has everything you need. It has A/C (very important with this Houston weather), always clean, bathrooms are great and stocked with all necessities, and Coach Mekel is simply incredible. Aside the fact that the gym has everything you need and more, the tailored private sessions have been exactly what I needed. Two years ago, I had an accident and injured my back. Since then, I’ve suffered from back pain and had little to no flexibility. Coach Mekel has helped immensely in strengthening my back and overcoming my injury both physically and mentally. After just a couple of months I’m able to do dead lifts. For me, that’s a win. Having a coach that understands where you’re at and where you need to be is key to success, and feeling comfortable and safe as a woman makes coming to gym and working out great. Thank you!

Great location, awesome atmosphere and parking was simple. Came with a friend who has a membership here and will more than likely get my own for the days that I come work out with him

Wonderful gym, amazing staff, the best members you can ever wish for. It’s a community gym because we are a community. Love this place!

Facet is the best gym. I left for a year and came back because the vibes are unmatched. With regards to equipment they have everything you need plus more. The staff is friendly and the facility is clean. This gym is certainly a safe space, there’s parking lot security and zero creeps. Highly recommend to any ladies trying to meet their fit goals

One of the best gyms I’ve ever been a member of! Well worth the price! Tons of equipment and never have an issue using anything! Highly recommend!

Nice gym for the area, but limited equipment (1 dedicated bench rack, 1 curl bar, etc.)

Big clean gym that is a hybrid crossfit and commercial gym. Pros: They had all the essential equipment I wanted to work out. Racks, dumbbells, cardio equipment, hip thrust, chest press, pull down, cables, turf, tires, med ball, bands. Friendly staff. Cons: Training clients and classes are prioritized. No guest passes. And they lied about the length of my membership and I was charged extra. The classes did not bother me because I was told when I signed up there would be classes but the personal trainers would sometimes just set up equipment and clients right in the path of where I was obviously just doing a workout. I'm a travel physical therapist so when I go to a new state and gym I make it very clear when I am done and when my membership needs to end. The individual that signed me up repeatedly told me I was signing up for a 3 month membership and after the 3 months my membership would automatically end. This did not happen and I was charged for an extra month. When I called they just told me that was incorrect and you have to cancel yourself online. No refunds. I would have recommended this before but the end was unfortunate.

Pros (there are many): Has AC! Clean, not crowded, overall well cared for facilities and equipment. Abundant parking with security during peak times. Friendly staff. Reasonable monthly pricing. Glad to support a local business rather than a chain. Cons: Wasn’t an issue when I joined over a year ago, but somewhat dependent on who is working the front desk, the music is WAY TOO LOUD, regardless of the time of day. Especially annoying during 5 am weekday workouts with club level volume. Don’t bother asking the front desk to turn it down, or emailing the owner with feedback. Not sure why the whole building needs to be pumping music when people bring their own headphones. Bonus points for loudness go to when a class is in session … the staff turns the music up and the trainer yells at everyone over the music. Great motivation.

I absolutely LOVE Facet Seven EaDo! The gym size is perfect - they offer classes led by instructors and have a large variety of equipment that will definitely meet all your open gym needs. The gym itself is always clean and the equipment well maintained. Not to mention everyone who works there will always greet you with a smile (and they'll ask where you've been if you happen to skip out for too long - love the accountability!). I could go on and on, but seriously do yourself a favor and sign up here. You will love it too!

There are only a few gyms in East Downtown, but I think this one is the most complete. They just opened and they have pretty much all the equipment I would ever need. A large rig with plenty of racks, pull ups bars, rings, etc. Green turf that runs along the whole side of the gym. Lots of dumbbells, kettlebells, free weights, and cardio equipment....if you're into that sort of thing. There's also a running/bike trail down the street. A/C and showers is another plus. It's a pretty dope place and I'm excited to train here.

This gym is great! They have lots of new-ish equipment. It is located in a huge warehouse type structure so you never feel crowded. It’s the only gym (that I know of) on the east side of Houston that has air conditioning. All of the trainers are well certified, friendly, professional, & really support you in helping you meet your healthy goals. You won’t find people sitting on equipment taking selfie’s like other gyms. It’s a gym like it should be.

I love Facet Seven Fitness in EaDo! It’s so unpretentious- I’m always comfortable working out there. Plus, there’s always open equipment and weights (even at the busiest time)! I feel like this gym is more homey than most gyms- they have free coffee/tea, real live plants, organize fun social events that involve exercise, and they let patrons write inspirational quotes and make murals on the walls (not sure if they still allow that now however).

All the equipment for functional strength with many squat racks, Olympic plates and barbells. Weighed sled, bands and punching bags are just the tip of the iceberg. Very few typical gym machines and the upper body exercise place is somewhat limited.

I sent an email to get matched up with a personal trainer here based on what I was looking for and hoping to achieve. They set me up with Mekel and holy cow! Amazing! Great communicator and motivator. Each session I’ve had with him so far has been a great work out. I feel comfortable and it’s been nice to have someone push my limits but not to the point I break. Something that has made me want to give up and not work out in the past. I feel like there’s achievable goals made and it feels great to reach them. The equipment available here are always clean and the stocked shower room has been very useful whenever I do have to go somewhere right after a session. Definitely request Mekel to get that body yody yody!

😠 This place is a disgrace. The two lat pull-down cables have been broken for over three weeks and they look at me like I’m crazy for thinking they should be repaired. Most of the other equipment is either broken or missing. Even at $15 per month, it’s too much.

👍👍 I have been coming to Fitness Connection since April and I'm glad to say that I lost 30 lbs. It's a really big and nice gym. The perk is that they have a sauna. This gym also have many machines and cool classes. The workers there are really nice and knowledgeable. This gym is a keeper.
