I have been coming to Fitness Connection since April and I'm glad to say that I lost 30 lbs. It's a really big and nice gym. The perk is that they have a sauna. This gym also have many machines and cool classes. The workers there are really nice and knowledgeable. This gym is a keeper.

This location is nicer than you would think considering the area it's in. The parking lot is on the smaller compared to other locations. The inside is a two story workout area. Basketball court and women's area available. The machines are in average condition for fitness connection. Large locker room with hot room to build up a sweat. Theater cardio room available but the movie screen is not working most of the time.

A Disastrous Experience: Avoid at All Costs! I recently had the unfortunate opportunity to experience what can only be described as an absolute nightmare at fitness connection on Bissonnet. From start to finish, every aspect of my visit was a disaster, and I strongly advise anyone reading this review to steer clear of this place. First and foremost, the service was beyond abysmal. The staff seemed utterly disinterested in their job, displaying an appalling lack of professionalism and courtesy. They were slow, inattentive, and had no knowledge of there surroundings or the establishment's offerings. It was as if they had been plucked off the street and thrown into their positions without any training whatsoever. At all. Moving on to the customer service , I can honestly say it was some of the worst I have ever encountered. It was evident that no effort or care was put into thier customers. Not gonna lie it feels like a complete waste of my money. The overall atmosphere of the place was equally disappointing. No motivation The ambiance was dull and uninspiring, with outdated decor. The entire place gave off an air of neglect, as if the management had long since given up on maintaining any standards of cleanliness or upkeep. The experiences we’ve endured. It felt like a complete rip-off, and I left feeling not only disappointed but also cheated out of my hard-earned money. I cannot emphasize enough how strongly I discourage anyone from setting foot in fitness connection From the abysmal service and the overall lackluster experience, this place deserves to be avoided at all costs. Spare yourself the disappointment and find a more deserving establishment like planet fitness or 24 Hrs to spend your time and money on. membership cancelled

I put one star because I had no option to leave none. I woke up this morning, prayed, and headed to the gym, I'm saying this to say my morning started off positive and I was having a good morning. I entered the gym and scanned my card per usual but today I was stopped by the young hispanic female at the counter whom stated I had a balance. I proceeded to go back to the counter and I asked why because my bill automatically comes out every month. She said that they were unable to take the bill out last month and they added a late fee plus my annual fee. I had no problem with paying but I was confused if why it wasn't automatically taken out (this is the second time this has happened at this location). The lady then looked at me and said "Like I said" very unprofessional! I never experienced something like this and I was shocked and I asked her who was she talking to, I asked for the manager and when he arrived I cancelled my membership, he was very nonchalant and just stood next to the young lady as if she was right. AVOID THIS LOCATION! I'm actually not dealing with fitness connection anymore, I'd rather pay more for a membership if it means I’ll be respected X

I have been a member here since 2010, and today I toke a friend of mine to get a pass and show him around , the white young dude at front was rude and disrespectful, I recommend for the leadership to remove this guy from the coustomer service and put porfessinal peoples whom can serve better and represent the brand properly, I would cancel my membership and recommend all fox who see this reading to not ever come to this place. I will spread the word in my community and let everyone know how they treated us today, the guy was young white dude.

Quite dilapidated at this point. Mold covers the ceiling throughout the whole building, so if you’re immuno-compromised avoid!!!!! Hole in sauna wall that clearly goes to outside. Equipment is never returned, so you’re constantly on the hunt. Women are eye candy from the moment you walk in until you leave. Tons of men on the prowl here, to the point it’s very uncomfortable. You’re getting exactly what you’re paying for here… low grade experience. I’ve tried giving it chance after chance, expressing concerns to management. They don’t care about your health or experience. I’m out!

I just signed up cyber Monday (still in same week) but considering cancelling, BUT they wanna charge $49 to cancel and that’s absurd. Huge macho male vibe but a few women in and out. Gym is old, they don’t invest in equipment or keep up the space. The same gaping hole 🕳️ ; is inside the women’s suana and still not fixed after months of being notified. Wouldn’t be surprised if a rat ran inside. It’s moldy and the disinfectant is watered all the way down. Nobody ensures weights are put back properly and it’s a mess, no rules are followed honestly. They need a strong manager in there to turn this Titanic around.

Un professional customer service. I have a membership of the Gym since 2015. Today was the first time I forgot my key tag at home. The person at front desk did not allow me to use the the Gym. I had drive back home. Please put someone who knows how represent the Brand. Thank You

I been going to the gym for 8 yrs and just moved to Houston. Decided to go to this gym since it's so close to my home. I never seen a gym have SOOOO many people sitting on equipment or even on there phones and doing ABSOLUTELY nothing but stare into your soul. Do better and watch the people for God sake.

This location was great until the new manager got promoted. New front desk staff in the morning who think they are better than everyone, rude, and entitled. Half the equipment doesn’t work including the cinema screen which they say is unique to them. Kids club staff is wonderful and my child loves them but you can’t even step outside to your car or take a call without the new management and entitled staff yell at you for stepping outside the building to answer a call (the music inside is so deafening loud). This new manager David (who used to work at this location before but was much nicer as an assistant manager) let the power get up to his head and the two-weeks hire employee Anthony instead of being handled appropriately, the customer gets a yelling. Unless management changes their attitude, fix what’s broken and start using out of the box skills, I strongly un-recommend this location. Two stars for Kids Club and prior manager that gave a fun, welcoming feeling when I used to come in. New manager and employee get zero stars.

Unless you plan on being here at 5am when it's clean and quiet. Nope. People are rude and gross. Leave their bags hanging off/ under random machines, and don't clean up after themselves.

Why I can't cancel my membership? I am not able to use the gym. I have been there for a week. Now I want to cancel they don't want to cancel. I have been charged the annual fee and monthly fee. Now I really can't use the gym. What kind of human beings are you. Do you guys change weekly or monthly? I was charged $14 a week ago now I have been charged another $10. I was told it's $10 a month not a week.

Fitness Connection is all great place to work out I have been going here for years. The place is well kept and the equipment is top notch. Had made made major gains and progress all on my own at Fitness Connection. Low price to sign up low price for your monthly payments. Recommended for anyone who are trying to achieve there fitness goals.

I enjoy coming here not a problem when everything works all photos here DONT WORK thats areas I walked by, i can imagine if i walked the whole gym 😞 angry but not enough to talk mess just fix all problems and all is good🤔

Compared to all the other gym in the area this place stands out for a few reasons. 1. Gym equipment-there are numerous machines and equipment 2. Quality/Condition of equipment- everything is in great condition 3. Cleanliness- the gym is always clean 4. Price-price of membership is very affordable Find another gym that checks all these boxes, if you do let me know. If not this is your place for your fitness goals!

These little bad comments HAHAHA, yall have no reason to hate. The gym is good and the NEW MANAGER is amazing. Only thing is that yeah during after work hours it is pretty crowded but that doesnt make the gym awful. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE are amazing as well and real friendly, no need for the negativity ! People like to lie and over exaggerate so yall can go to sleep 😂😂 PS : DAVID IS AMAZING.

I have my membership set with autopay so I don't have to pay late fees. If there was an issue with my autopay you would have inform me same day so I can have time to fix it. A simple email call or even text could have sort this out. However no message were sent and I'm being overcharged. I think a message would be fair since my phone provider does same thing when there's an issue.

I like fitness connection It’s a healthy and friendly environment. The staff is great and my personal trainer is helping me reach my goal. Overall I’m glad I made the change from the gym I used to go to this one.

Zero stars This location is absolutely deplorable. It smells, the equipment is old and the staff members are very unprofessional. The childcare area is not a locked area. Therefore, anyone can enter the children’s play area at any time. I literally witnessed a nonmember enter the FC building, be directed the the Children’s area, open the children’s play area door WITHOUT addressing or being addressed by the Childcare staff member, and take his children to the bathroom. I was completely astonished. That is completely unsafe and a risk to the children. Not to mention that the children can open the door and walk out at any point. I am a very happy Planet Fitness member however, I joined FC as well due to my daughter being out is school for the Summer. FC offers childcare at certain locations, so I joined for that reason alone. I totally regret it. Please do not join this location. Zero stars.

Came to check out the gym to consider joining, off the top the front desk associate had an attitude. Gym smelt like sewer and was missing dumbbells underneath 20ibs.overall I didn’t not have good impression of this gym and would not recommend joining

I Always liked coming to this gym it’s very clean, the classes of body pump are excellent before i enjoyed doing Zumba but unfortunately they removed them. Now There is a instructor in Zumba at Monday night after bodypump , Zumba instructor named Diana got here and she was very disrespectful and didn’t even let us pick up the weights or anything, and started the class, the small amount of people that went to the Zumba started helping to remove everything off the floor because this lady didn’t wait for us to get everything out the way and didn’t wait for us to get out but y’all should keep a eye with that because someone could get hurt .

Good gym but very unprofessional staff. They do not adhere to their operating hours; it is annoying having to wait in my car in the parking lot waiting for someone to open the gym, no respect for people’s time. I would not recommend this gym to anyone.

Customer service is horrible. I brought my dad whose always busy to make an account, they haven’t given me my key tag for the new account, then when I come to the gym they say I don’t have an active account. Now I have to find time where my dad is available just to make a whole new account, not to mention I already payed and am still being charged for the account we supposedly made.

It’s a nice gym for the price is one step above planet fitness in my opinion. The only thing I don’t like about this gym is that there is a lot of crime and no security sometimes, I saw 3 broken car windows in the parking lot. Be careful guys stepping out of your car

The gym is frequently overcrowded, with a majority of Hispanic attendees. They have a tendency to leave their belongings by the gym equipment, sometimes giving the impression of ownership for extended periods. Unfortunately, the sauna often falls short of expectations as there is a consistent practice of keeping one heater off to save money. Evenings are particularly crowded, making it difficult to access any available equipment. Lastly, it is observed that the staff lacks satisfactory customer service skills. Please note that I don't support or endorse any stereotypes or discrimination.

I will never ever recommend this gym to anyone who plans to go to this gym because even you canceled your membership, but they still charge you 3 times for no reason, and when you go and asked they respond with "we already canceled your membership and this will be the last time".

How bad it is that even though they threatened one of your clients with a knife, you cannot support the people affected by something. You must have a service in case a client presents problems and other clients who may present a risk even to you. Why could a client attack you for some bad treatment, I hope it doesn't happen, God bless you 🙃
