Went on a beautiful spring day, loved the vibe & sunlight throughout. Ordered Mother Earth with chicken & The Rebel wrap. The first was a heavenly healthy combination of wholesome ingredients. The wrap was good but a bit too rich. I liked the heights vibe more than uptown. Will definitely return.

A very cute restaurant, cozy café ambience. I enjoyed the earth bowl, but would’ve expected it to be more filling for the price. The coconut pudding dessert was great. I don’t know how they cooked the tofu so perfectly but despite minimal spices it was spectacular – just melt in the mouth.

I brought my mother in law to lunch here. Everything we ordered was healthy and delicious! We ordered the Salmon entree with red chili glaze sweet potatoes and lemon cauliflower risotto. We also ordered the chicken enchiladas with poblano creama, Tuscany chicken soup, and Avocado toast which was delicious! Everything was so good we decided to order the avocado Caesar salad and the vegetarian taco salad to go for our dinner! Yummmmy

This is a great place in a great location. The staff is really friendly and efficient. I had the Thai wrap and the broccoli as a side. It was simplistic and without flavor. I expected it have some Thai flavor but there was no flavor whatsoever. The broccoli was definitely underdone and not salted. I can see the appeal of this restaurant for salads, etc.,

We were in the area for an event and decided to stop at this little gem. I ordered the Cauliflower Risotto and The Avocado something or other. Lol. I honestly cannot remember the name of the wrap. The risotto was delectable! There was a hint of spice that enhanced the flavour completely. The wrap was larger than I expected and was paired with a side salad. We also tried the aged Mac and cheese. It was delightful! The cheese was sharp, but in the best way. I have nothing bad to say about this establishment. We will definitely stop by again to try other menu items.

Lovely place and incredibly healthy food options! We had the mother bowl with chicken and Tofu, BYO bowl, and avocado Cesar salad with chicken. Portions could be a bit bigger for the price. Also, spices are on point but may not cut it for folks who prefer very spicy food. Overall a Delightful experience!

My first time here and it was amazing! The shrimp was perfectly marinated so it wasn’t bland, the gluten free Mac & cheese was delicious, and the roasted broccoli was also super good but just a bit too tough if your jaw is sensitive. My partner said the salmon was also amazing, overall fantastic food and will come again!

Amazing, deliciously healthy eats!! This was my first time going after having seen this place a year ago and it did not disappoint! The staff is friendly and all wear masks. The restaurant is very clean, especially the bathrooms. I don't know what kind of hand soap they use but I want it for my house!! I had the turkey wrap, the organic salad and the gluten free Mac and cheese. It was enough for two meals and reasonably priced. I would have taken more pictures of the food but I was too busy eating. I also had their fantastic rose lemonade and their passion fruit black tea. I will definitely be coming back!

Oh my god! I haven't had this strong of a reaction to a restaurant in quite awhile. When you eat at Flower Child, you know on a visceral level that the food is good for you. The wholesomeness of the food. The textures. The flavor combinations. All add up to a truly inspired menu. I started with the Mother Earth bowl a couple of weeks ago. I've had it on numerous occasions since, ordering it with the various protein options (tofu, chicken, and shrimp). I'm surprised to admit that I prefer the tofu. Today I tried a dish that is not on the regular menu, Alex's Epic Baked Meatballs. Very satisfying! To sum things up, the food is healthy and tasty. The portions are reasonable. I promise you will love it. Just a warning about the Uptown location. It's a madhouse at lunch during the week. Perhaps the same is true for the Heights location, but I've only been there for dinner and they weren't super busy and parking was plentiful.

My favorite vegan/vegetarian restaurant! Love their Mother Bowl, it is by far my favorite. You can honestly not go wrong with any item. They also have wine and beer on tap! If you are looking for a cute, healthy restaurant for lunch or dinner, visit Flower Child! Both locations are awesome!

Guilty of sleeping on this place. It’s fireeeeee!! Such quality ingredients. It’s healthy but does not compromise on taste. Absolutely delicious and filling! 10/10 recommend. Cute vibe too.

The kale, brussel sprout salad with salmon is one of the best things I have ever eaten in my life. Fantastic clean, healthy food with perfectly sized portions. I will be coming back!

Wow! For lack of a better word for my culinary experience, we’ll stick with that. I was so excited to make my first trip to Flower Child - Houston Heights for lunch. The smooth House, R&B, and Urban beats instantly set me in a happy mood when I stepped into the restaurant. The decor gives you a feeling of being at someone’s cozy and whimsical home. The staff were all polite and friendly, but the star of the show was the food! I chose the protein and two sides. My protein was the grilled chicken and I chose the Yuzu Brussels Sprouts (with charred onion, savoy cabbage, and golden miso) and the Red Chile Glazed Sweet Potato (with bok choy and sesame seed) as my tasty sides. Other favorites include the Roasted Broccoli, Gluten-Free Mac & Cheese, and Butternut Squash “Risotto.” As for drinks, you have wine, local beers, rotating kombucha, and various flavored iced teas to choose from. If you are in the Heights area and looking for a healthy, vegan, or vegetarian option for a meal, keep Flower Child in mind. You won’t be disappointed!

I am so grateful to have found this GEM! The food is fantastic and the vibes are great. I have a 2 year old who is a super picky eater and he loves this place too. My newest favorite place to eat. Download the app for rewards! ♥️
