I stayed here for four nights and I found this resort a great option if you're seeking a beach getaway from Bangkok. The rooms have a very beachy cottage feel and yes though a little older, are decorated so nicely and kept very clean. The garden veranda rooms are surrounded by the beautiful tropical gardens. I normally don't really find the beaches in Hua Hin that nice, but this resort is on a perfect little spot where the beach is more narrow and is lined with a few coconut trees- so you really get that tropical beach experience. The sand is soft and the beachfront is clean. The infinity pool overlooking the ocean is also spotless. The staff were so attentive, as well, and the food at Rim Talay was quite delicious. I'd really recommend this spot, it's a great alternative to the 5 star corporate giants and you get wonderful service in a beautiful and cozy tropical environment. Really enjoyed my stay!

Nice beach resort overall. Needs much more space for sun-loungers (there is never one available) given the size of the hotel and the pool bars are always closed/being fixed? Some rooms are lovely (airy, white wood) but some are poor (small and noisy) at the back. Very helpful staff team.

The ladies at the front desk made fun of us. We were traveling with backpacks and I guess we were not appropriate for this hotel. We were rude for not adhering to the dress code. The rooms, the pool right in front of the beach is really great. The view is also great. It was very restful.

It is a nice resort with friendly staff, good beach presence and rooms that are clean and spacious. Unfortunately due to the current pandemic, maintenance has not been kept up to date and one can see little problems that have not been addressed. Once normality resumes a concerted push is required to bring it back to a 4 star rating. 3.5 is more accurate. On the other hand, at the present moment, value more than offsets these defects. One complaint though, I personally would expect a pot of good coffee be available for early risers. Nescafe with powdered milk in the rooms just does not cut it. The resort is long and skinny so someone with mobility problems would have trouble moving around especially getting down to the beach. As another reviewer noted there is construction going on next door but it does not disturb the tranquility of the resort. Overall though, an enjoyable stay.

This is one of our favourite hotels in the area, for location, environment, decor and cleanliness. We have been here many times, it’s a very classy hotel. But, their service is poor, especially the front desk. All staff seems to be unhappy and treat guests accordingly. The hotel is beautiful and well decorated, villa style. The rooms are simple and beautiful, also very clean. There are some minor issues that require maintenance, yet well kept. There are no rooms facing the beach, all rooms are located short walking distance from the beach. The pool overlooks the beach and is beautiful, a great place to hang out and relax. The food is nothing special, and pricey. The breakfast is ok, they could do much better.

This resort is a little gem. It's a Front beach resort, meaning that you don't have to cross the road to get to the beach, with nice and quite big villas. The king size bed is very comfortable. Nice walking to the beach through trees and flowers. Generally Very well maintained by the staff that is very kind. The breakfast is very nice and vary with asian and western options. The food at the breakfast is at a very nice level based on my taste...and talking about breakfast...I'm a Breakfast Lover! Cocktails are good and you can enjoy the happy hour starting from 4 p.m. by the beach front bar.

I book Tamarid studio room type which is very value for money comparing to price paid. Its like 15xx baht a night with breakfast. Room is spacious and clean. The bed is pretty comfortable. This room type is closest to the beach onlynlike 50 metre away.

If you want to experience an authentic Thai oasis, then this hotel here is absolutely perfect. The hotel consists of independent houses which are divided into 2-4 apartments. We stayed on the first floor with a balcony and a king size bed. Really big room, big double bed with extremely comfortable mattress. The hotel/resort is right next to the beach and breakfast is served close to the beach. The breakfast is not the best we have experienced. A slightly limited selection and the same every day. The service level from the staff is really high, and they do everything to make you feel comfortable. The rooms are cleaned every day The location is extremely perfect. Value for money.

We had a fantastic stay at Laksasubha. The room with garden view was large with very spacious bathrooms with closets. The location is very convenient, direct access to the beach, within walking distance to stores and restaurants. Ps. Somehow Agoda booking was done for 1 night in a smaller room and then the rest was done with the garden view rooms. What a vast difference in the rooms. The first night we had stayed in room 233 which was small and very very hot and we didn’t enjoy at all. However from the second night onwards it was just wonderful. The staff is amazing.

We went to this beautiful beach town in Thailand called Hua Hin, to celebrate the 2024 new year. Everything in this resort is very nice and well maintained. It seems it was inaugurated in 2018, as per the painting in the room. All the staff from the hotel are always smiling and welcoming. Our experience in the restaurants, pool side bar and in room dining was absolutely amazing. Keep up the good work team Laksasubha:)

Nice Resort with a relaxing atmosphere at the beach. Everything is 5 Star except the plumbing 555. I’ll recommend it for the future.

We stayed in the grand garden view room, a little outdated!. All of the staff here are very nice and attentive. We loved the breakfast! Beautiful garden. We enjoyed staying here and we will be back when we get a chance. Hopefully, the hotel will be updated by then🤞 😃.

I have never experienced such a devoted team of staff at a resort. My husband fell ill and the attention we got I can never forget! Right up to a get well card and a bouquet of flowers delivered to our room!

The front desk we're very cooperative and friendly, the establishment was very service orientated. With a nearby beach, located centrally, clean and spacious rooms this place is definitely value for money.

Very nice staff, breakfast and dinner. Quiet place like a big garden. The hotel is not new but the staff take good care. Just the gym is not up to date and the treatmill was out of order so we could not exercise. Sure we will come again

Great location. Unfortunately this is the only advantage of this hotel.. This place is literally falling apart. Resort is very old and I guess it has never had any renovation. The room that I was given was very basic and normally should not cost more than 500 baht per night. Staff at hotel always looked unhappy. The only person who was always smiling was a security guard at the entrance. Parking is full during weekend - no way you can move your car for 2 days if you parked at the hotel. Breakfast is very basic and staff at the kitchen does not speak any English. All equipment at the gym is broken or non-usable. I booked for 6 nights but could not handle my room anymore and moved to another hotel after 2 days.

Excellent! Service was good and rooms were very comfortable. It's located by the beach and the view is gorgeous. Very lovely staff. Walkable to certain spots, like the night market or the mall, or the bar streets if you're into that. Only qualm would be the rooms are a far walk in, which is because it stretches all the way to the beach. They ride you in in a buggy when you check in. Be wary of mosquitoes when lounging by the beach and the restaurant/bar.

Just spent 4 nights at Laksasubha and it was fantastic. On arrival the hotel entrance is small so easy to miss or to underestimate the hotel. Though the grounds through the gardens are immaculate and beautiful. The rooms were very clean and spacious and we had a great balcony area. The highlight is the pool area on the beachfront where you have breakfast and a bar that has a daily happy hour overlooking the beach which is great for sunrises and sunsets. Breakfast was good with varying options each day and selection of thai and european style breakfast options. The staff were amazing and incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is great with a short walk to restaurants, coffee shops and short tuk tuk rides from major markets etc. There are 2 pools, and the pool on the beach has only a few beds so if busy might be difficult to get a place around the pool. Though as the area was quieter we only had this problem once after exploring one morning. Wasn't a major thing. Definitely recommend.

This isn't your 20 story high rise but small units set in a garden. It's not new and everything has 3 coats of paint - so not "luxury" but all the services work well and beach access. If you have difficulty walking this isn't the hotel for you - the beach is about 100 yards from the farthest room. But you come to Hua Hin to walk on the beach. And the beach is the best part of Hua Hin - everything else is ordinary. The free breakfast is quite good with eggs cooked to order, fruit, juice, toast and coffee or tea. There were children here - so a family place.

Stayed here initially for 2 nights and then extended for a further 3 nights. The hotel has very comfortable garden rooms, two swimming pools and a good restaurant. The best pool is the infinity pool right on the beach where we spent most of our time and money 🤣🤣. Good Happy hour from 4pm to 6pm, offering certain drinks 2 for 1. Breakfast was OK and certainly better at the weekends. I would stay here again.

Nice and comfy hotel. Good beds, good pillows, airco ok and wifi as well. Staff competent and friendly. Breakfast almost served on the beach: very nice. Good lunch and dinner possibilities, although a bit expensive. Same for drinks: good choice, but expensive. At the moment of our stay( mid January 2023) à lot of mosquitoes.

Stayed in summer 2022 on two separate occasions. Wonderful stay. Their staff were brilliant. I was being a digital nomad and they looked after me so well. Rooms were immaculate. Though if you are a digital nomad don't go for cheapest room as no desk if you're working into the early hours.

Good location close to centre of town and night market. Room I was given was clean and comfortable. But was in desperate need of overhaul and TLC. Bathroom was functional but shabby. I contacted my travel Agent who got in touch with hotel to ask for a change of room He was told ‘unable to change as we are full' This was a deliberate lie, hotel was half full at best. All staff were helpfull, polite and charming Room had small terrace, with wooden table and uncomfortable, upright wooden chairs, no cushions, Gardens were excellent and well maintained, unfortunately the same cannot be said about the block paving paths which went through the grounds, some areas were sunk, others raised, causing trip hazards. Dangerous after dark Breakfast was well presented, with good choices. Poolside bar ridiculously overpriced. Will not be returning

Upon arrival, we were given a room which was not the type we had booked and was not good. The friendly male receptionist sorted us out with a great room eventually and we were very grateful to him. The hotel itself is excellent, great facilities and very clean room. Breakfast is ok. Would recommend.

Just had a wonderful 4 night stay over Christmas. The staff are top quality in terms of service, attention to detail and ensuring every guest has what they need. Real teamwork in every way. BBQ on the beach is exceptional. Resort is located close to other restaurants and shops. Home away from home.

Posting as a visitor to the bar/restaurant and receiving exceptionally insulting and misleading service. My wife called ahead to ask about dinner and get reservations. The manager enthusiastically told her about their pool and made the reservation. We did not ask about the pool. The manager informed her about it proactively. Excited to swim and eat, we packed up for a pool and brought our swim suits. We arrived, ordered drinks, and as soon as our kids got in the pool, a server came and informed us that we cannot use the pool. I told her there must be a mistake because we called to make reservations and the manager specifically told us about the pool. She send the manager down to speak with me. He does the rounds with 6 other guests then makes his way over to me. He informs me we indeed cannot use the pool. I ask if we can pay a separate fee, or commit to a certain amount on dinner. He says no, and I remind him (pretty pointedly to be honest) that he told US about the pool when we called for dinner reservations. He responds with the following. I'm quoting directly. picture a man with eyes twitching from frustration. "I told your wife there is a pool, because it is important to know, but I did not say if she could use it or not" [remember, she didnt even ask about it, he just proactively told her about it] "If a friend invites you to their home and tells you they have a pool, you should not assume you can use the pool" "everyone knows this rule. I told your wife about our pool, but she should know this rule." "I'm sorry I have to explain this to you. everyone else understands this rule". "Centara and all other hotels have the same rule. why can you not understand it?" - note the edit below regarding this. Again, I dislike the rule, but the actual issue at hand is: why tell my wife about the pool when she's making dinner reservations, if we wont be allowed to use it????? Additionally, his frustration that we had the wrong impression AFTER HE TOLD HER PROACTIVELY ABOUT THEIR POOL WHEN SHE CALLED FOR DINNER RESERVATIONS is nothing short of mind boggling. We went next door to Lido, and they were happy to let us use their pool while enjoying their bar and restaurant. it was lovely EDIT: Centara and Lido (The Standard), are the two adjacent resorts. Both allow non-guests to use the pool.

The best hotel we stayed at during a golfing tour of Thailand, Singapore and Indonesia. The villa style rooms surrounded by lush gardens provide quiet and privacy. The restaurant, bar and pool on the beachfront was excellent, made perfect by obliging and friendly staff. Jakey the barman has an excellent sense of humour and kept us amused with the 'angry squirrel' who lived on the rooftop and entertained every night. Curiously he disappeared on BBQ nights.

Its a lovely resort hotel with a beachfront restaurant, cafe and bar. The rooms are in separate 2 storey houses surrounded by lush vegetation. Its well maintained and if you select a room upstairs you get your own terrace with chairs. Friendly staff. Parking available. Buffet breakfast.
