Oh
boy,
this
was
a
pretty
interesting
night.
First
up,
the
fights
here
are
all
real
and
not
staged
for
tourists
but
the
quality
of
the
bouts
was
quite
low
in
comparison
to
most
the
bigger
stadiums.
My
wife
and
I
attended
one
of
the
shows
to
watch
Sylvie
Von
Duuglas-Ittu
fight
her
261st
bout,
this
was
the
highlight
of
the
evening.
There
were
obviously
a
couple
of
fighters
who
were
going
to
be
potential
up
and
comers
on
the
scene
but
there
was
no
real
pretty
display
of
muaythai
here
on
the
night.
With
about
a
50
person
capacity
and
such
an
average
talent
pool
on
display,
I
almost
laughed
when
I
found
out
they
were
charging
1000
baht
per
person
to
watch
the
fights.
You
can
go
to
Raja
or
Lumpinee
for
a
couple
hundred
baht
more.
There
was
no
Wai
Kru
orchestra
playing
the
Wai
Kru
during
the
fights
but
just
a
really,
REALLY
terrible
audio
set
up
that
was
BLASTING
music
in
between
rounds
and
constantly
stopping
and
starting
during
the
bouts.
It
will
be
interesting
to
see
if
it
improves
over
the
next
couple
of
years
or
fades
into
nothing
which
would
be
a
shame
as
there
are
a
couple
of
great
Gyms
in
Hua
Hin
with
some
seriously
good
quality
fighters
in
their
lineup.
Overall,
great
to
see
one
of
my
favourite
figures
in
the
international
muaythai
scene
fight
but
apart
from
that,
pretty
god
damn
average.
500
baht
per
ticket
and
I
wouldn't
be
complaining.
