    Great place for fitness and weight loss. I stayed 3 weeks and became fitter, lost weight and felt overall better in myself. I have been back almost 2 weeks and the weight I have lost has remained off, because this place is not about fad diets but the old equation of less energy in and more energy out. Klaus and his team have perfected a good daily workout that can be adapted to cater for all ages, sizes and fitness levels. All you have to do is bring the right attitude, determination and sense of humour. Valarie cooks amazing meals, so you are not starved and she caters for all needs (Gluten Free). I am really glad I came here and have received so many positive comments and compliments from family and friends. Thank you guys x

    Spent 10 days at Palapon in Feb 2023, and I would highly recommend it for anyone with a willingness to lose weight, get fit, or just to change up an unhealthy lifestyle. Owner Klaus and wife Valerie are lovely and really want to help you improve: Klaus will ensure that you put in the work, whilst Valerie's nutritional cooking is actually delicious. His kids are also very nice and helpful. Stay in the villas if you want the convenience of being on-site and to have somewhere close to relax or 'thai shower' between classes, or stay in the apartments (also close by) if you want greater privacy. Pool is relaxing after class, and the Hua Hin area is nice to explore if you have the energy. Trust me though, you may not! Inclusion of massages, body scans and medical tests was a nice touch. The classes are all good, I enjoyed the 'Klaus Fit' (think cross fit) and Muay Thai especially. Yoga was new to me (and more difficult than expected) but the teachers were excellent - and patient! One day a week 'off' is a much needed break that also allows exploration of the wider area, and there are some beautiful sites to visit. Flexible programs are available, I did some surfing whilst a few others were doing kite-surfing lessons alongside a portion of the daily Palapon activities. If you are wanting a luxury Club-Med 5-Star resort-style fitness program this might not be for you, but if you are intent on working hard to improve your life or lose the weight then I suggest going to Palapon. It might not be easy, but you'll get amazing results. I did and the other lovely people around me staying longer even more so. I'll be going back - hopefully next time for a longer to really cement the gains.

    5 Stars! A paradise for fitness enthusiasts Arrival in paradise: When I opened the gate to the fitness camp, I could hardly believe my eyes. A beautiful garden with small huts to live in welcomed me. The facility's training areas are a bit old, but they have everything you need for effective training. Personal care and small groups: The owner takes personal care of his customers and you feel well looked after from the first moment. The groups are very small (maximum 9 people, average 3-4 people), so that each participant gets the trainer's full attention. Great food and varied training: The food was varied and super tasty. The training sessions were demanding, but at the same time motivating and varied. Criticisms unjustified: I cannot understand the criticisms expressed in other reviews. I have never seen the dogs in an area where training is taking place. They are always on the lawns. And the fact that a bird leaves "its business" is inevitable in nature and probably happens in every outdoor restaurant/café in Thailand. Problems were resolved immediately: Small problems that arose during my stay were immediately resolved by the owner or trainers. Conclusion: I can recommend this fitness camp to anyone looking for effective training in a fantastic environment. I had a great time here. No mass production but an individual program. I can't say anything about the accommodation on site, I stayed at the Hotel Nice. You should note that after a certain length of stay, electricity and water are billed separately and there is only one roll of toilet paper as a welcome gift, which is not refilled.

    My review comes a bit late, but as a friend of mine used to say: Better late than never. I left Palapon exactly one year ago. People asked me: Did you achieve your goal? Yes. People asked me if I would recommend it? No, I will never return there again. Why so? I read the reviews before, but when I arrived there a lot of things were not like the reviews stated. I felt fooled and I would have loved for another person to write an honest review. I finally decided to give you the opportunity not to make the same mistake as I did. The host couple was rude and mean in my opinion. Especially the wife talked bad behind the guests back.
They did not offer what they promised in the package. The food was not really weighted nor tailored to your needs. The equipment was all run down - at least it was one year ago, I don’t know if they renewed it. The cutlery was mostly dirty and stored in a box where I also saw bird poo twice. The dogs that ran around peed on the floor where we trained on and the “cleaning” was merely a soft wipe over the floor. I could go on, but I think this gives you enough of an impression of the “Palapon camp”. Many of the former positive reviews are from guests only visiting one class a day, not really staying there. I cannot recommend going there. In my opinion, it is a waste of your time and money.

    I train Muay Thai here 3 times per week at least. Great camp for all levels of fitness and skills.

    What a great experience. Highly recommended for those who want a holistic body, mind & spirit reboot. I cannot thank Klaus & Valerie enough for their commitment to their clients. I lost 2kg of visceral fat & 5kg of body fat in 1 month - I'm now leaner, quicker & more flexible & have a fresh perspective on life. I'll be back next year. Thank you :-)

    There is not a better place if you want to get your fitness up or to loose weight. Been training with Klaus now for the last 3 months, and could not wish for a better trainer. He has a lot of knowledge and has a great variation of training's. Besides he knows how to get the maximum out of your capacity. I will keep training at Palopon, as it has been life changing since I started! Many Thanks to Klaus and his amazing team!

    I have just returned from a 4 week Palapon stay. The experience was both challenging and wonderful! Everything is structured for you to reach your weight and fitness goals. This is not a vacation but an investment in yourself. I left feeling fitter, healthier and with a positive outlook.I would have stayed longer if possible and will definitely return. The team at Palapon are all supportive and encouraging.

    Much better fitness camps elsewhere. Found the owner and wife aggressive. Food was below average, same breakfast daily, limited protein, promised a detox, consisted of soggy rice and heavy carbs. Owner made a point of taking over conversations during meal times, was glad to get away from the place.

    I trained at Camp Palapon from 1st June to 25th November. Three sessions of hourly exercises a week enabled me to lose more than seven kilos of weight and several inches off my waistline. My posture improved and a long-standing venous ulcer almost healed. I recommend Camp Palapon to anyone who has the desire to improve their well-being

    Fantastic fitness camp in Hua Hin. I cant speak more highly of Klaus and the team. I received an individualized program based on my fitness level, body composition and fitness goals. I even had a knee injury that we were able to work around and still get great results. The food program was amazing. Valerie's knowledge and skills in the kitchen made the meals delicious and satisfying. I learnt alot about nutrition and she eagerly answered every question I had. It's not rocket science but still somewhat of a mystery and I appreciated her support in helping me to learn more about the nutrition I need to fuel MY body. Thank you Palapon!

    I stayed at Palapon for 4 weeks with the aim of making a fresh start after a long time working from home where I wanted to get out of the tiredness, gain strength and also lose a few pounds. The way the program was set up, I soon saw great progress. It was challenging, motivating and a lot of fun. Valerie's food was just amazing, yet so simple it can be made at home. I was fascinated by the knowledge and experience of Klaus and Valerie and I learned a lot in a very practical way. Best of all, I've returned home with a fitness plan that fits my individual schedule and a nutrition plan, with foods I like and recipes to help me maintain what I've achieved this month. A big THANK YOU to Klaus, Valerie and their team.

    I am 65 years old, no sport for last 40 years...result. over weight and physicall problems. I decided to joint Palapon program owned by Klauss, 6 times/week exciting to do it. Klauss is very hight level profetionnal he give us differents exercices for all differents peoples. From warm up Klauss teach,encourage,and push all of us. Authentic experience with a Klauss and is team. Just do it, comme joint Palapon program, and your life will be totaly different.

    We went to Palapon for a 24 hr charity run event last month, and I can't speak highly enough about the owners, staff and facilities. It's an idyllic little oasis in central Hua Hin. Everything about the place is perfect, from the lovely chalet bungalows, great food, pool and facilities, but what really makes you feel at home is the enthusiasm and personalities of Klaus and valerie, they are such awesome people who really go the extra mile to ensure you get the best out of your visit there. They are also extremely knowledgeable about their jobs too, be it fitness or nutrition. Definitely highly recommended.... Give it a try! 5* 👍🙏

    Many years of trapping with overweight and yo-yo effect after various diets is over. My friend and I spent a relatively short stay at Palapon in Thailand with the aim of reducing weight as long as possible. Excellent stable climate, nice people, but especially the philosophy of weight reduction with the setting of further reduction and stabilization. Excellent conditions for physical activities and professional management of the camp. Upon arrival at the camp, we passed a test of overweight, with the proportion of fat, water, muscle, BMI with the creation of an edible list, which was precisely calorically adjusted. .The professional trainer and camp owner created a daily program of physical activity, which after 2 weeks was a successful result of weight reduction with lifestyle settings so that in compliance with these principles, weight loss continues permanently to our maximum satisfaction. After 10 days of precisely defined diet and physical activity, I reached 5 kg of accommodation weight and at home after 1 month another 5 kg in complete comfort. We understood the fundamental thing, no one is able to permanently reduce weight just by exercising, there must be a proper diet. This comprehensive view of eating habits with physical activity (every morning 7-8km fast walking in a nice environment, precisely calorically defined breakfast, then 1 hour of exercise with Klaus, a break, then 1 hour of yoga, low-calorie lunch, rest, followed by HIIT, a break and 1 an hour of Thai boxing, a light dinner and a Thai massage. Possibility of swimming in a 25m saltwater pool. for nice people, professionally led to mp Klaus ´dining prepared by Valeria, professional yogis and the experience was also Thai boxing with Maa, a participant in the Olympic Games in Thai boxing. We are pleased with the lasting effect of weight reduction after staying in the Palapon camp with further weight reduction in the home environment while adhering to the principles we learned in the Palapon camp. Weights of more than 30 kg testify to the quality of this campsite. Highly recommended. Big thanks.

    As a local residence in Hua Hin I am a long-time customer at Palapon. I love the one-on-one attention from both Klaus and Valerie. I feel they both have my best interests at heart and they help me, push me, congratulate me to reach my goals. It is always done with love, but they are not afraid to use "tough love" to get me unstuck from a plateau. I really enjoy learning, growing and getting stronger at Palapon!! Thank you

    Just finished 1 month at Palapon gym and would recommend to anyone looking for a weight loss/lifestyle reset or fitness boost. The training was tough at first but got easier as my fitness levels increased and the results were remarkable. I met many interesting people over the course of my stay which added to the experience. Owners Klaus and Valerie were wonderful and I got to know them well during my stay. They have created a nice environment for their outdoor gym area with traditional Thai huts and covered areas with reeded roofs. Finally a mention for the Muay Thai coaches Birdy, Deng and Baz who were so much fun as well as hard taskmasters. While I was there I met many returnees and I will definitely go back myself.     I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Palapon Fitness. I felt fully supported throughout my stay and challenged to the right degree; it was tough, but I never felt like quitting. My favourite class was the 08:30am bodyweight workout which really helped improve both my form and confidence. The yoga and Muay Thai instructors are superb; friendly, supportive people with lots of experience and skill. The food is fresh, healthy and delicious and I felt stronger and fitter after just two weeks there, ready to take on anything. Most importantly, it was a lot of fun!
