Lido is an awesome Italian restaurant right in The Standard Hua Hin! In fact, it is one of my most favorite Italian restaurants I have ever been to. The level of quality of food, service, and atmosphere of the overall restaurant is unmatched anywhere in Hua Hin, and maybe even this whole area of Thailand! It’s located toward the back of the resort near the pool and beach area, and it stays open quite late. When we visited, we ordered a variety of different food and drinks, including two different cocktails (I don’t remember the names unfortunately), a few different appetizers including arancini, and a pizza and pasta. The appetizers were all excellent - this seems like one of those restaurants you can order anything and be very happy! We loved the pizza as it had a very good crust and perfectly balanced flavors. The pasta was also exceptional as well! Might have even been better than the pizza!! Finally, we finished our evening with tiramisu. They have a very good tiramisu at Lido and if this is any indication, I would definitely recommend saving room for dessert here. All in all, great food, great service, and a great restaurant!

Amazing italian restaurant located on the grounds of the Standard Hotel. The food was incredible and the staff were all so accommodating and friendly. We had the board and shared the squid ink pasta with shrimp. They offer complimentary bread basket with fresh bread, crackers and bread sticks. Everything was delicious. Prices were standard for the quality of food and the atmosphere. Will definitely be back when I visit Hua Hin again. Thank you to the staff for accommodating a nut allergy and ensuring our food was safe and tasty.

Had a great couple of afternoons at Lido which overlooks the amazing Standard pool area. The staff here are always super friendly and accommodating and it’s a good way to spend some money if you want to buy a day pass for the standard pool. The pizzas have a crispy base and the toppings are always fresh and tasty. The drinks here are super well mixed (especially during Negroni week!). One issue I noted was that the standard allows dogs - of all shapes and sizes. While I appreciate this offers flexibility to guests what isn’t appreciated is when dogs bark at full volume non stop for 20 minutes. It doesn’t compliment the serene location too well. I wish there were rules for loud dogs etc. Mondays they have a great deal which is buy 2 pizzas and get a third pizza for free - definitely a great way to start the week. If you’re into Italian food and delicious cocktails this is a great stop in your Hua Hin itinerary. Especially if you add a swim in the pool on a nice sunny day.

Wonderful and legit pasta restaurant in huahin the services team and hostess very attentive and helpful. You can work with laptop next to the nearest quiet building near restaurant then enjoy their pizza too! Also, they have a great playlist in this area. 5 stars ⭐

Love the decor of this place. Cool and chic vibe especially if you sit outdoor. We had our dinner here and ordered pizza, pasta and salad. Pizza was good but the dough was a bit crusty (like pita bread) rather than chewy and elastic. We highly recommend pasta with pici funnel sausage and mushroom - it was so good we ordered another one! Lettuce salad was a bit disappointing, the leaves looked dull and dressing not as flavorful despite the umami from anchovies. Overall, it is a good place to sit, chill and have a Mediterranean meal.

Im here with my sister to take a vacation. The staff (K.Oil). She is very good at her jobs since we arrive until the morning meal. She takes care everythings. Everything is perfect. We would recommend ours friend to come here for sure.

Splendid service. Great staff. Thanks to you all for making us happy. We dine here for 2 nights in a row and also had breakfast. For the breakfast, I think the quality of ingredients is ok, yet not premium. We were happy but not wow. The coffee was made in bulk so getting a shot of espresso would be your best bet. The milky items came light as water. The Italian fare were good for me, husband gave it ‘passable’ but he’s quite picky when it comes to Italian food. Since his bar is high, I think it’s safe to try during your stay. The recommended special menus is worth trying. We tried the pasta with lamb ragu and it turned out to be the best we got from everything we ordered. Burratina pizza was good too. For dessert, if I could go back I’d skip Tiramisu and try something else. The cream was too heavy for my liking. (My fav one is from Peppina, mediterra, and delice de capoue in BKK) but it could be a different style and you may like it-so try for yourself.

I visited this restaurant in the vicinity of The Standard Hotel. The food was decent, but it lacked the flavors I expected; it was rather plain. The prices were on the higher side, but the atmosphere was truly delightful

Lush restaurant with great selection of food, both Thai and Western. Salad and the dressings are super good. Loved the atmosphere and the staffs are outstandingly helpful. Louise, who attended our table, was so nice and always beamed with a smile, offering us help with everything. Overall great satisfaction and will definitely return. Good taste breakfast: all bakery (esp. waffle and pancake) .I love side dishes of stream rice. All waiter and waitress did great services (N' oil 👍) Hope I can bring my family here again soon.

This place is in The Standard hotel, it’s near the beach and next to the swimming pool. Good sea views and indoor and outdoor seating. The service was very fast and the staff very friendly and amenable. Please note prices reflect a 5 star hotel, so don’t expect low cost. I can recommend the rocket and artichoke salad it was very tasty. The mango smoothie was a bit watery could do with less water and a bit more mango in my opinion.

Selected this place based on the good reviews, as my good friend and I were looking for a nice place to enjoy our early dinner in Hua Hin to cap off a very fine day together. We came out quite happy with the place mostly thanks to the good services by Khun Golf and Khun Fai, very attentive, take good photos and always smiling. The food was nice, we shared a ribeye, a salad and a tiramisu. I wish we had ordered the ribeye medium rare because medium was a bit tough. The salad was nice, interesting touch with the tomato sorbet which surprisingly went well with the ribeye. Tiramisu was alright, we thought it would be better if the cake layer was a bit thicker. A couple of things to improve upon could be 1) removing the columns for a more panoramic view of the beach for the outdoor seating area and 2) ensuring that the noise level from the live music does not make its way to disturb the restaurant background music. Overall quite happy with our experience and probably would try indoor seating next time.

The food was amazing. The stafff were friendly and helpful. Loved how they have outdoor, semi outdoor, and indoor seating arrangements. The restaurant is by the beach and the hotel’s pool area. You can enjoy drinks and snacks from the pool area too.

I am absolutely amazed by this welcoming atmosphere and the good food that was offered by the Hotel/restaurant. The employees were very friendly, attentive and respectful. It was a pleasure for me and my husband to meet Louis. Every time, he offered his help to make everything perfect. He speaks English incredibly well which made the conversations a lot more enjoyable and effective. Nice place, expensive compared to the other options (breakfast costs 800 Baht), but the food is good and varied (a lot of Asian food), and the view is great. However, coffee is not their forte.

The food is really delicious!! The pizza one of the best I’ve had -and I’m really critical about pizza :) The service is also more than good. All in all a really nice place to go to! Worth the money for sure!

Excellent meal and service. My husband and I celebrated our 41st anniversary there, they really took good care of us in every detail. The food was fabulous and they even have us a delicious complimentary cake. Highly recommended.

Service continues to slide down….have been coming since the open. Food ? Very hit and miss. Went for the charcuterie plate yesterday and coffee. Cheeses and meats extremely low level. Coffees took 15 mins. Setting is still fantastic. Would say service is on steady decline and food is just very hit and miss

We had a wonderful Italian lunch at Lido, a really classy, yet not at all posh, seaside restaurant in Hua Hin. Lido is located inside the The Standard Hua Hin, just a few steps up from one of the region's most beautiful beaches. We ate the delicious pumpkin soup, juicy slices of mozzarella with sliced heirloom tomatoes, excellently prepared snapper risotto and a very tender and flavorful Wagyu steak accompanied by a ruccola salad lightly marinated in a perfectly sweet and savory, balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Just like the dishes we enjoyed, the service at Lido was impeccable and the team working during our lunch were all very knowledgeable and pleasant to interact with. Over the years, I’ve enjoyed many wonderful meals all over Thailand. From peculiar rural street food in Chiang Rai (north), intensely spicy meals in Hat Yai (deep south) and experienced a few of Bangkok’s most respected eateries. With its amazing location, excellent service, sumptuous and beautifully presented dishes, Lido is certainly one of my new favorite Italian restaurants in Thailand. And I haven’t even mentioned the amazing Tiramisu or the dark chocolate cake we had for dessert there! Highly recommend Lido!

Thank you for the amazing first impression at The Standard. It’s my first time coming here and I enjoyed it. The Staffs here are all very friendly and always work with smile on their face. I also really enjoy the food here, especially the Lido breakfast. They’re are not as much choice but everything comes with really good quality and all taste delicious. Overall, I really enjoy staying here.

We are staying at The Standard and wanted to test out one of their restaurants. Had an amazing dinner and was served by Louis. Excellent service! Will definitely come back.
