Such a gem in walkley area! Love their quite space in the morning, and the variety of the options they offer in the breakfast menue! They served us free veggie basket which is nice and the portions were generous and filling! I’d love to visit this place again with my family! Taste was delicious and staff are super nice 😊

This traditional Lebanese sandwich had a very unique flavor with simple and limited toppings, which really put the focus on the wonderful black seed flavor of the chicken! Lots of meat on a nice crisp bun which was extremely filling! I have really never had anything that tasted similar and I would strongly recommend it if you're up for something new. I had the Francisco sub with no corn (4.8/5). The owner was so incredibly nice and too generous!🙏We had a nice long talk about everything from food to travel and all the different places he had lived, it was so nice talking to you! I will be back next time I'm in the area.

Well, this was an unexpectedly good surprise. Great quantities but it tasted just above average. I guess this is one of those places where you have to have grown up on it to really appreciate the taste. The subs were just okay but the Lebanese breakfast items were on-point. Very tasty! I could see myself visiting this place again. I'd love to try more breakfast items. The service is highly lacking, though which did dampen the visit.

SubTown is and will always be my favourite spot in Ottawa for true authentic Lebanese cuisine. I found this gem when I was feeling homesick and in the mood for the taste of Lebanon. It reminds me of home every time, and the service is absolutely amazing, it’s such a hospitable environment. I definitely recommend this restaurant!

Very few places you’ll ever eat in your life where the first bites take you back to your childhood in the Middle East. In Lebanon/Middle East there are many sandwich places that have their own style and types of sandwiches/subs that are similar to western ones but yet completely different. This place has some how replicated the feeling and taste of those sandwiches and they’re the only place in Canada I’ve ever been to that has ever done it. These are some of the best subs I’ve ever had in my entire life, I was shocked, and even more shocked when my group of friends preferred these sandwiches over their western counterparts too, the food was insanely good, fresh and made to order, the meat is never frozen, everything is insanely clean, Moe was very kind to us through and through and believe it or not, the meat is real steak, you’re paying for quality food and ingredients, the poutine is insanely huge and insanely good too, I highly recommend this place, I could spend the day talking about my experience here if I had the time. TLDR; Good food, accurate to Middle East style subs/sandwiches, 100% legit quality and taste, great price, give this man your business.

This place is very awesome. The food is always fresh and tastes great. The store is always clean and the staff are wonderful. I come from the opposite end of the city just to eat here. The owner Hussein Jawad is very friendly and likes to talk to his customers and make them feel welcome. I would recommend this place to everyone with 5 stars with great satisfaction. The best thing in Subtown is the staff; they’re super friendly! We ordered 7 different subs but we liked only one. The hummus was missing something, a dash of lemon may be. I doubt I will order again from Subtwon. However, I appreciate they use environmentally friendly packaging materials instead of plastic.

We were in the area, visiting from out of town and were looking for a good local lunch spot. Subtown came up and the photos of the food looked great so we gave it a shot. We were not disappointed. The owner, Hussein, was one of the most welcoming people I have ever met. We got to talking and I found out he opened this place during the pandemic. Talk about passion and bravery! I had the grilled chicken sandwich and my friend had the chicken fingers and fries. Both were so good!! If you're in the neighbourhood, check this place out. Sooooo good!!

It is one of the best restaurants with variety, quality, and great taste in Ottawa. It was a wonderful experience and will definitely be repeated. The owner of the restaurant and the staff were very nice and friendly. A restaurant that must always be visited.

I recently visited the subtown, and I must say it exceeded my expectations. The bread was fresh and perfectly toasted, and the variety of ingredients allowed me to create a customized sub to my liking. The staff was friendly and efficient, making the ordering process enjoyable. Overall, a fantastic experience with delicious subs that I'll definitely be coming back for.

Wow! I was seriously impressed by this place and will definitely be back. We were just driving by and decided to stop in - and I’m so glad we did. The owner’s passion was obvious. Incredibly welcoming and passionate about the food they serve. The selection is amazing and the ingredients they use are high quality.

Absolutely delicious! I ordered a beef sub and the meat was tender (which is usually hard to do) and seasoned well. Not only is the food amazing, the customer service is above and beyond. Just because of the conversation I had, I’ll 100% be back!

Super friendly staff, seemed clean! However my roast beef sub was the worst I’ve ever had in my life! I’m certain that roast beef was there a few days, definitely didn’t taste fresh or good. They use mayonnaise like it’s an ingredient and not a condiment… who wants there Sandwich sopping in mayo? 🤢🤮

Truly one of a kind restaurant as it is near impossible to find a halal sub joint. The signature subs are all packed with great flavors and are simply delicious. The guys know exactly how much to toast the bread which ensures that the sauces and juices are well contained within the sub and makes for a much less messy eating experience. Their house special avocado sauce is amazing and this is coming from someone who's not a fan of avocados. They even carry some baklava and other baked in-store cookies for folks looking to enjoy some light dessert with their subs. Highly recommended.

Ordered the vegan combo. 6 falafel, home made turnips, pickles, sesame sauce. Also had a large fatouch salad. Everything here is outstanding. There new Mediterranean breakfast is a must. Everything is home made. Even there delicious deserts are home-made.

I loved their vegetarian platter with tahini and fritters. Their chicken salad was also good that I got for my husband. Being a vegetarian I cannot find tasty vegetarian food everywhere so this was a nice one.

This was so good so authentic and unique, I promise there’s nothing like it!!! So fresh as always, the workers and owner are so nice and will always greet you with pleasure and talk to u. And their deserts are to die for!!! I will be coming back! 10/10

Favorite Lebanese sandwich store to come to. They mix the traditional middle eastern style with a modern spin. Food is always quality, amazing service and friendly staff. You can tell they put a lot of love and care into the business and it shows in the food. Always a great experience!
