Cute and quirky coffee house. The iced latte was good and the scone was delicious. I also really enjoyed the outdoor seating.

Beautiful little place with a very cozy atmosphere, great hot drink and baked items. Cookies and cakes look amazing. Great service. Right along walking trails in the area. Super place to stop if you're out walking or skiing in the cold weather and need to warm up with a hot drink.

Britannia Coffeehouse is the neighbourhood coffee shop of my dreams. Full disclosure my husband and I stumbled upon it while cycling years ago and vowed to buy a house close to it so we could get coffees and walk through Britannia Park with them. Well, we’ve now lived in the neighbourhood for 4 years, and we are “regulars.” My son loves the cookies, we love the nitro cold-brew coffee. I have so much of their cute merchandise that I’ve been asked if I work there! I do not, but everyone who does is so incredibly kind, warm and welcoming. It’s a real neighbourhood staple and I’m so glad it’s ours.

We came across this small but pleasant coffee shop by accident. However, it was a good find due to the quality of the coffee and food. The coffee is good, as is the food. We ordered 2 grilled sandwiches: they were simple but flavourful. The scones are yum, too. The outdoor seating allows you to see the world go by. Lots of cyclists, walkers, and joggers going to the park and the waterfront. They have a nice ice cream store connected to them. It's definitely worth a visit.

Such a nice surprise to find this place and it's attached to the Beachconer's Microcreamery. Eclectic decor, nice sitting area inside and out. Great coffee. Exquisite pastries. Recommend 100%

Great place to stop and refuel while cycling. Bike stands and shaded seating makes this place a perfect spot to meet up with friends. Tea was SUPER hot (just the way I like it) and blueberry/peach scone was delish. Highly recommend.

This is a good coffee place near Britannia beach. Good coffee and calm place to chill with friends in the evening. Outdoor and indoor seating was available. The car also can be parked in the streets perpendicular to the cafe.

Super nice people. I had a fussy toddler today, I spilled coffee on myself, and they helped me out and were just really kind. It's a great atmosphere and a real cornerstone of the neighbourhood. 100% recommend.

Delicious coffee. Fun atmosphere and good vibes. Tried the brown sugar latte and it was wonderful. Got a few fresh cookies and a blueberry scone to go. They were all delicious, but the blueberry scone was phenomenal.

Great little coffee shop around the really popular trails with lots of seating outside. I had the nitro cold brew which was quite decent, but on the pricier side. My partner had the iced chai latte. This one was a bit disappointing as it wasn't really cold or particularly flavourful.

Great cozy ambiance and delicious latte. What can be improved is offering glass cups for in house drinking and free wifi.

Always friendly service here. Great snacks. We did notice their delicious scones shrank considerably for a while, and the price didn't. But noticed today they were back to "big" so maybe other customers remarked on it too lol. The scones are soooo yummy and buttery. Good cookies and coffee. The alcohol beverages are too pricey for us here, but the vibe is great. In summer the ice cream on the other side is too die for!

Cute little coffee shop with a whimsical feel to it. They have lots of baked goods (including vegan options) and even vegan lunch options too. Wine and beer purchasing available too. Delicious lattes and a few seats indoors and outdoors too.

This place is adorable. Lots of local items like maple syrup and pottery. If the ice cream shop is open...do it! The coffee is lovely as is the atmosphere. They have been sure creative with outside space since covid. Still tons of space to relax and enjoy or meet with friends and enjoy.

Really nice little coffee shop that does decent drinks. Has a great atmosphere and esthetically is gorgeous with the decoration. Its a must stop on a bike ride or those headed to Mud Lake.

Had the chickpea salad sandwich with baked chips and pickled veggies. It was delicious but combined with an orange juice, was too expense for the quantity. Staff seemed spaced out or perhaps stressed, but kind. Loved the eclectic fun decor. Great place near by for cross country skiing.

Found this place while travelling out of town for work. Nice place, friendly staff, good & reasonably priced coffee, refreshing to know coffee can still be under $5 and taste good. Will be back for breakfast, smelled way too good in there!

It is clearly a popular space and is doing well. The milk of my maple chai was very thick and the drink in my opinion had no maple or sweetness. However, they do provide a few sugar options to put in yourself. Overall it was a regular chai tea latte. On the otherhand, that cookie is really good, it tastes hand-made with love and the decorations on it are adorable. The size of it is decent for the price. I would come again. Probably at a less busier time, it was crowded and squishy, with that community feel. Thank you for the quick service! (Please change the water in your plants, they want help)

Great little cafe on the corner. Right by walking trails and the beach. Lots of parking on the side roads. Cute and lots of character insode and out. Chairs and umbrellas with pergola and lights were a great touch. So comfortable, staff was excellent. A gem of a spot. Wish I took a picture. All the pictures posted are relevant. A go to spot anytime in the area. Well done.

Enjoyed two capuccinos and savoury scones. Both were very good. The scones were extremely fresh. We sat outside and enjoyed the parkland setting, and went for a walk along Mud Lake afterwards and saw turtles and a muskrat.

I always enjoy coming here. The coffee is excellent, and the chocolate chip cookies might just be my favourite in the city. The connected ice cream shop has some very unique flavours, it’s always fun to check out what’s new on the menu. The staff is always lovely. I like the interior- small but cosy! Some fun decor. The location is great- I like going for a walk around mud lake, then stopping by here on my way out.

I love it here. Best service, best lattes and desserts… did I mention the pumpkin spice ice cream… to die for!! I work right next to the coffeehouse and it is impossible to stop myself from coming over for my usual breakfast sandwich and maple latte. It’s more than just a coffeehouse, it’s my happy place ♥️

This is one stop I try to include on every bike ride. Great coffee, great food (the scones are to die for) and great, friendly staff. Worth it, every time!

Nice decor, great spot, and service was quick and friendly. Two complaints: they charge a lot extra for different milks in basic coffees. No wifi if you want to work here (although i sort of understand given their location and foot traffic in the summer). I still recommend it since it’s the only non-franchise coffee chain around.

This place is like an oasis! I cycling everyday on the many paths. This is one of my favourite places to stop for a coffee and a scone! The staff is always pleasant and friendly. The Adirondack chairs are also great to relax in. Thank you

Great coffee shop and location! Only complaint is they do not offer wifi. Strange considering the amount of foot traffic passing through.

This was my first visit. I had latte and cheese and spinach scone. The latte was outstanding! The best I had in a while. The scones were freshly baked and still warm. They were amazing. I will definitely come back although it’s a 20 minute drive from where I live. The people serving us were very friendly and provided us with excellent customer service.

I had to stop there after a long bike ride, and try their ice cream. I'm never disappointed with how creative and delicious their ice cream is. This is THE place to try out with a date, or family or with your kids on a hot summer day. Perfect pit stop after a long bike ride as well.

We were late but the owner was so polite and she offered us the ice-cream. I had Britannia brownie and I absolutely loved it ,will definitely go there some other day to try other flavours

Britannia Coffeehouse opening has been such a blessing for the neighbourhood; any local coffee shop would be welcome, but they have fantastic coffees and truly outstanding baked goods. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Thanks for keeping many of us in the neighbourhood sane and caffeinated through the pandemic!

What a nice cozy spot. Coffee was nice and you could request for extra hot. Egg Sandwich was nice and fresh. I also saw people having their ice cream, will try it out when I am in the area.

This is now my favourite cafe in Ottawa! The baked goods are so fresh, delicious, made in house, and often change. The coffee they serve is very good and there is the option of an affogato with the ice cream from their ice cream shop- It's SO GOOD! Also, a great patio. Very cozy and a bit eccentric inside- exactly what I am looking for in a Cafe!;)
