Situated at the edge of a delightful park with outdoor seating all around, perfect for a sunny day. Great customer service. Small parking lot, but easy enough to find parking in the neighborhood across the main street. Arrived around 8:30A on a Saturday, and there was only about a 10-minute wait. We ordered the salmon Benedict, corned beef hash Benedict, morning Cristo and cinnamon bun pancakes. The pancakes were delicious, get them! Fluffy but with some edge crunch, you won't be disappointed. Also, if you opt for a Benedict, the corned beef hash one was the winner between the two. Will be back!

This is a good breakfast spot. It's popular, so there may occasionally be a wait. They have a good selection of items from omelettes to their cinnamon roll French toast. They also have vegetarian and vegan options. They serve lunch, but breakfast is so good that I haven't tried it yet.

Park Bench Cafe creates a wonderful, cozy outdoor dining experience in the Central Library Park. When you drive on Goldenwest street and see the signs and seating, it is so inviting to grab a bite or coffee. The food is good and it’s dog friendly. It’s almost always busy but it’s easy to wait by taking a walk in the park while waiting. They also have treats for dogs Enjoy and support this cozy local gem

Lovely place! The food is delicious 😋 highly recommend the potatoes they are crispy and serviced with cheese. The food is super filling and the atmosphere is very open and breezy. We walked our dog after eating and it was such a nice experience!

Such a fun spot for some good food! Very nice area in the park with lots of shady spaces available. We came around 12 and were told it’d be a 40-45m wait for 2 of us, it old ended up being 20-30m or so and there’s a nice, short, paved path around the park you can walk around and lots of benches you can sit at while you wait if you want too 🙂 The Country Fried Steak was average I would say, nothing super special. The Chocolate Chip Pancakes and Cinnamon Roll pancakes were AMAZING however. I didn’t think they’d charge $13 for a “short stack” side of pancakes though. We really liked the Morning Cristo with the Raspberry Jam was really delicious too. The Cheesy Home Fries didn’t really taste great to me, kind of chemically.. but my husband liked them. The Fresh Fruit Bowl was also delightful! I thought $5.50 was a very fair price for the amount of fruit they give you!! Our pup also loved his chicken and appreciated the ice water they provide for pups 🤗 Fun to have a nice place outside, with good food, good service, and loves our fur babes! We did feel it was a little expensive for the quality -$82 for 2 of us and a dog ($13 for a Short Stack, $20 for Morning Cristo, $19 for a Country Fried Steak + $3-4 extra for the “specialty” pancakes, $5 for Dog’s Chicken, $6 for a Latte, and $5 for an Iced Tea). I would also love to see them switch to more eco-friendly to-go products (condiment cups, silverware, plastic bags, straws, aluminum to-go containers, etc). Parking was also a bit full, we had to wait for 5-10min to get a spot, but it was 1200 on a Sunday. Just something to note!

Had breakfast here after the Dog Beach. Excellent service by Brittany, very friendly, attentive and service was excellent. Recommend joining the wait list which is accessible through there website, really helps with holding your place in line for a table. Dogs were on their best behavior.

This is a sweet cafe that offers breakfast and lunch. There was ample parking right out front. I was approached by the hostess right away. It is outdoors near a beautiful park / trail so very enjoyable on a nice day. The food and service was good. The tables and chairs were a bit cheap, plastic - not the most comfortable.

Used to come here all the time 8 years ago since the waitress gave us the best service. Basically came here because of my dog. Now I have stopped coming altogether since prices are just mind blowingly high. For the price they want, it better be a five star meal. I go across the street now to Cathy May's since prices are 1/3 cheaper and they are super dog friendly. 🐕 Also, better views and not on dirty and uneven lawn with sticky tables. And Park Bench portions are way smaller now which ticked me off. They have learned to fold a burrito the size of your credit card. And the avocado slices you can see through 😧

Park Bench Cafe is the perfect place to eat with your canine companion. The setup is perfect, tables are spread out and they have water bowls and treats for the dogs. The staff is fantastic. The food is pretty epic. The cinnamon roll pancakes are insane. Slightly crispy on the outside, maybe a little caramelized. The flavoring keeps seeping through as you eat them. The biscuits are oversized and fluffy and the burritos are enough for 2 meals. I love this place and it’s surrounded by a park to walk your dog when your ready to roll home from all the good food.

Pleasant outdoor environment. Usually there's a wait but not too long. Limited parking space near the Cafe, but plenty around the park. Morning Cristo is a must try, sweet dough on the outside with salty ham and cheese on the inside. Great friendly staffs. Nice walk around the park after meal. Plenty to do for the whole morning / noon. Highly recommended.

Delicious food and friendly staff. It's worth it just to see all the cute dogs. Parking is incredibly limited so plan to likely have to park in the neighborhood across the street and walk over.

It's one of the best breakfast places I've been to in a while. The wait can be a little long, but it was definitely worth it. The banana pudding is PHENOMENAL. The cinamon roll pancakes were the best ones I've had this year. There are tons of butterflies to look at while you wait.

Tried out this place today and it was amazing! The food was well made and the service was immaculate. The servers were very sweet and accommodating, checking in on us every once in a while to see how we were doing or if we needed anything. I ordered a Grilled Chicken Wrap Sandwich alongside some Frozen Lemonade and it was sooo good. The side fruit was fresh and juicy as well and it really hit the spot. The atmosphere was calm and lively with the other folks around us and their dogs. Overall, It was really really nice, and worth recommending. I know I'm most definitely coming back some time soon!

Food was great I recommend the French toast cinnamon rolls. The atmosphere is great you're eating at a park and it's a great view.

This was such a cute place!!! I was visiting my mom who has a dog and I wanted breakfast. Found this place and very happy we did. Seating is outside in a grassy area, they have a water station for the dogs and a menu just for dogs!!! People food was great as well, I had a mocha latte, was good coffee!! I think it was cinnamon French toast that I had. I really loved this place, even if you don't have a dog this is a great breakfast!!
