Amazing experience. Sara was a great server. Very attentive, and proactive in terms of ensuring our experience was great! Milk rolls and Caldo for the table were great. The NY strip was “Vietnamese style”, and it was delicious. Spicy and sweet, with great complimentary components. Others loved their salmon dish, and the rib eye (not bone-in). The paella for two was a healthy portion for each; featured delicious rice and seafood and tasty crispy chicken likely cooked separately and then add in to the dish. Parking in the underground mall lot is easy and just east of PCH; with restaurant validation it is complimentary. Very dog friendly, outdoor dining available; staff not masked currently. Looking forward to our next trip there! Chef owned spot has a dynamic menu that changes frequently! - we keep coming back, and we keep leaving happy. Amazing, caring, and observant staff. We were celebrating an anniversary, and they treated us to a chocolate moose cake. We had the salmon, fries, New York Team Vietnamese style, simple salad, and 1/2 dozen oysters. All delicious.

Enjoyed an early dinner on a Sunday afternoon with a friend. I had a Lulu Lemonade, Lamb Chop frites, and we shared a Carnage pizza. My friend had a soft drink. Service was friendly and attentive. The tab came to $105 with tax and tip. Two hours validated parking in the Pacific City garage.

‼️WORST SERVICE EVER‼️ Food is ok. Beach view is good. But neither of them can compensate for the BAD SERVICES. To start with, we stood at the lobby for 3-4 minutes before someone finally came and greeted us. During this wait time, at least one waitress and one bartender noticed us and passed by us closely without saying or signaling anything, not even a single smile or nodding. 😅 And actually, every staff here looks unhappy and unfriendly (except the manager whom we met at the end of our meal). After we were seated, it took a total of 30 mins before our order was taken. And then it took another 40 mins for the food to eventually come out while there were only around 6-7 tables of customers.🙂 We were basically left alone again during the wait time. I think when it takes such a lengthy time to prepare the food, an average server would have notified the customers. When we were about to leave, we met the restaurant manager. He looks friendly though. And he was the 1st people who asked how we were doing😅, which I believe should be the server’s duty 😅 However, honestly the food itself was ok. And the beach view is good. But I’m pretty sure customers deserve better services when they decide to go to a fine restaurant with beach view. Nobody wants to see unhappy or unfriendly faces during his vacation at the beach! Summary: Good location with a good beach view. Okay food quality. BAD SERVICES. PS: looks like the restaurant does not have enough changes. We paid $80 for a $72.19 meal. The server handed us a change of $7 without saying anything about the rest $0.81. So they basically took my changes as granted. I highly doubt if this is legal.🙂

I cannot say enough about this place! To be honest the hostess who greeted us was not all that nice- I actually saw her yawn while people were talking to her while checking in. She seemed annoyed that we asked to be helped. After that it was AMAZING! Our servers, Rachel and Lindsey were awesome! Rachel made some drink recommendations and was great helping us with the menu. Rachel was so attentive to us! The lobster was the best we've ever had. The Oysters were salty and delicious! The view is fantastic! Definitely 5 stars! They all seem to be LGBTQA positive which is a plus for us. Best date night!

This is a really nice place! The ambiance is very warm and welcoming. There are beautiful views of the ocean and Catalina Island. The servers and staff are very nice and friendly. The presentation of the food is impeccable. We did, however, experience a few things that made the experience just slightly below 5-star. It may have been that we were a large group (15 or so). But there were a few times we were left hanging for quite a while in a few different things we had asked the servers or. One of our party had to wait quite a while to get her plate after everyone had been served. And the food itself, although it looked amazing, didn’t have that same level of amazement when tasted. Don’t get me wrong it was good. Just not great. A few of the items seemed slightly bland, like the salt and seasoning level was just a little too low. A few members of our party felt this. Again, very nice place and I would come again, but just wanted to share a few of the things we thought could be improved.

Beautiful view of the ocean if you get a window seat. Our service was good, the waitress was polite and kept our drinks topped off. My food was delicious, I got the carnage pizza and very much enjoyed it. Would definitely come back.

Bar service was pretty decent. Old fashioned was prepared great! Oysters were somewhat small but still fairly tasty. Scallops were decent but I've had better. Definitely will return to try other menu items.

Was visiting the area and saw this place recommended online. I was dining alone and have a fairly small appetite but wanted to try a few different things, so I ordered three appetizers. Still had leftovers. It was all delicious. My server, Chris, was great too. This would be a great date night spot. There are a few tables by the window which overlooks the beach. Recommend making reservations. The restaurant is located on the second floor of the shopping mall. They also provide validation for the parking garage.

Fantastic five stars great location. I love when you’re sitting inside you can see the sunset. You can see the pier. This place has fantastic views a wonderful drink selection, and solid food. That’s not super super pricey it’s not cheap either and they have a really great happy hour. This is a great place in Pacific city.

Decided to try their menu for OC Restaurant Week and I was pleasantly surprised when I realized this place is right next to the HB Pier. I made reservations and we had a booth facing the ocean at sunset, which was gorgeous. The bread was probably the best I’ve had. It was extremely fluffy on the inside, but it was the butter with warm honey that was served to spread on the bread that stood out to me. Absolutely delicious. The Scottish Salmon was perfect, like so so good.the pan roast was very tasty and a very hefty portion, enough to feed two people. We waited almost an hour for our entrees, but other than that service was great. I would definitely return to try other menu items and for the views of course.

Seafood omelette was full of fresh seafood. I ordered milk buns to try them. They were light and delicious and came with a delightful butter/ honey citrus surprise. We were pleased with both. Service great

I went for HH (M-F 3-6pm; S/S 3-5pm) for the first time and then another time after. $1.50 for oysters are the best! The food was also delicious but I wish they had a few appetizers on the HH also. I would recommend the HH.

Awesome service! Great view of Huntington Beach, and wonderful food! Definitely get the milk rolls. A little pricey, but would definitely come again.

Love this place! Oysters, Wyatt Slurp, pizza with pork belly and fried egg, WOW! I get the Chiopino kettle pot, DE-LISH!! Bar is great, ambiance is awesome, and you can't get a bad seat. We love PETE!! The manager is always there, dressed impeccably, and the gal hostess is always great. We ALWAYS take pizza home and key- lime tarts!!!

This review is focused on the seafood charcuterie plate. It’s an imaginative spin on the traditional cold cuts and cheese classic by using seafood elements instead. Delicious, attractive, and highly imaginative. Everything else looks good at Bluegold, and service is consistently attentive and friendly, but this is the dish that brings us back.

This place is always a hit! We have partnered with them a number of times and each time they go above and beyond with creating an incredible experience for us and our guests. Bartending - 10/10 Food - 10/10 Atmosphere - 10/10 Service - 10/10 Price - 10/10 It's impossible to get a food picture because it is devoured the minute it hits the plate.

I’ve been to this establishment for business and pleasure. On all occasions the experience was very pleasant overall. The food is very tasty. Soups tend to be on the thinner side. However, that does not take away from the experience. Beware the interior being very colder. The AC is always high. The view of the cost is also an added feature. Drinks are nice… I recommend El Chapo and the Sandlot. Milk rolls are their staple, ALWAYS get those!

We’ve been here 3 times recently and they have really upped their food and drink game. Great risotto, blue cheese salad and the New York Vietnamese style steak were awesome. The pizzas are excellent as well. We had the carnage. Try The Last Word drink on their menu.

I tried to plan a birthday party, but the hostess did not know anything about what the rules or requirements are for large parties so she booked me. Planned my whole party around the fact that she said that everything I requested was OK and then called to add a guest , I find out on a whim that I needed to reserve a special menu- unbeknownst to me- that no one told me about previously- yet they booked me. When I talk to the manager about this problem , he was Mildly apologetic if at all.- almost acting like it was my fault- and did not try to accommodate for their mistake in the slightest. To be honest, I don’t even want to eat at this establishment anymore. I don’t care how good the food may or may not be. A high-end establishment should train their employees properly. I can’t imagine what would happen if I came in if that’s how they are training their front hostess staff! And do you think the manager made me feel better for my entire party ending up having to be totally changed!?. No he did not. Terrible customer service for a restaurant of this caliber.
