When respect for good ingredients meet value for the price. Separate mention for the fries - crunchy outside, tender inside and, most important, THEY TASTE LIKE REAL POTATOES Best breakfast/brunch spot. Not recommended for those who need to work after eating!

My husband loved Cafe Cup. And I wholeheartedly agree. Friendly and very attentive staff. Cannot say more about how enjoyable it is to have great wait staff who actually enjoy their jobs, work together and care about what they are doing. The food was always fresh and well prepared. Never a complaint or issue. Fresh cut fruit. Great portions. Local eggs. And vegan meat options. Usually not a big fan of home style potatoes but these were great. I wound up ordering a side of refried beans and they were really good (we came back several times during our week in OC and I ordered the beans every time). Regular and fruit syrup for your pancakes, with specialty flavors posted on the wall... pumpkin pancakes anyone? And three kinds of fresh salsa plus Tapatio and Cholula on the table... I mean cummon y'all, that's doing it right. And the coffee. And the Italian Espresso and Cappuccino machine. Perfect. Sad to say I was always so fast to dig in I don't have great pix. The burrito is their mini burro with eggs, potatoes, choice of meat with a side of usually potatoes but I chose the beans. So great and very reasonable price. They definitely have huge regular portions if you're so inclined. My husband enjoyed the steel cut oatmeal, the pancakes, and a few other options on our many morning trips. But forgot to remind me it's cash only. Remember: CASH ONLY. atm available. I forgot more than once, was only a $2 fee, not too bad.

This is our new favorite, local breakfast spot. It’s open for breakfast and lunch. There is a counter and wall of booths. When it’s busy the waiting list applies for the counter too. I love the French toast...nice and eggy. Their omelette as are big and filled with goodness. Also great coffee spot. Great drip coffee and espressos. Do know, it’s cash or check only. There is an ATM inside.

Nice and moist cinnamon rolls. Delicious egg scrambles. I recommend the feta scramble, scrambled soft. Nicely seasoned potatoes. Great bacon when you ask for it crisp. Good coffee, but the Americano is even better (made from their new Lavazza espresso machine). Decent pancakes. They have Chilequiles on the last Sunday of every month. They have home made corned beef hash around St Patrick's Day. Jonathan is the best server! CASH ONLY!

The cinnamon pancakes are amazing!

The food is better then most local breakfast spots. That cinnamon roll though🤤 coffee and some good eggs. That's good enough for me. The wait time is a little long so be ready to wait a bit even after you have been sat. The waiters/waitress are friendly though and so is the host. Try it out if your a local you might just come back.

Had breakfast at cafe cup. Food was very good. I ordered the carnitas omelet and it was very tasty. The restaurant was very clean and staff was very friendly.

This cash-only spot gives all the small town breakfast feels with big city flavor. I had a mocha latte, hue is rancheros, and I added a side of avocado and grilled jalapeños. You could totally split a side but I was dining alone. The sauce on the eggs was so yummy and mild. I added bites of grilled jalapeños which were a delicious kick. The mocha latte was chocolatey and beautifully served. Potatoes are also delicious! I love that there was plenty of salsas, hot sauce, and syrups on the table. Everyone was also so nice! Loved it!

Cafe Cup is a friendly, welcoming eatery with thoughtful and efficient staff. There are many dishes I can recommend, but my favorite is Fiesta Bowl. It is a healthy, hearty, refreshing and flavorful dish that perfectly combines the goodness of beans, fresh salsa, egg, avocado, sour cream, etc, etc...(you probably should not rely on my description but just look at photos). Their menu has many great items, and I am always delighted by the quality of the food they provide.

Pretty average, pedestrian even. Eggs and potatoes were just eh, tortillas were a bit stiff, not fresh. I get that it's not a tortilleria, but they need to do better. Service was also average, and food was a bit slow coming out considering it wasn't busy. I know it's 2023, but I would still prefer individual serving containers for salsa and syrup (they can be paper cups or whatever is considered the least wasteful and most environmentally friendly). I probably wouldn't choose Cafe Cup again, not with tried and true places in my repertoire and a list of new places to try.

Great food. Tuscany scramble was amazing. Staff was super friendly and provided us coffee while we waited for our table. Deffinitely a place to visit again.

I used to come here weekly and absolutely LOVED this place but the last few times I've gone have been pretty terrible :( The last time in particular it took about 40 minutes to get our food once we were seated and the food was lukewarm. The waiter messed up our drink order twice. I went to get money from the ATM in back and there were flies EVERYWHERE. That's right next to the kitchen, so that really made my stomach turn. My sister said the bathroom was atrocious as well. Not sure what happened to this place :(

Usually good food. But they definitely seem annoyed when you place a takeout order for one. Quality seems lower than if I dined in, but I don't have time for that. Wish it was the same across the board for the pricing. Most recent burrito was so full it wouldn't close. I could have worse things to complain about, but it was unfornately hard to eat in the car.

Went here with my friend who is legally blind and was told after we finished eating that they only take cash. There were no visible signs. Someone should have said something. This was a horrible experience and we will not be returning. Pure, utter discrimination and misrepresentation!

We just had breakfast there, awesome food, no complaints. Service was impeccable even when they were really busy. We also ordered Latte and cappuccinos, loved them too. With sky rocketing inflation prices, their prices felt like we were in 2019.

Great hole in the wall! The chicken chili verde omelette is a must try, and it’s only $12.50! It is cash only though, so remember to bring cash so you don’t have to pay the ATM fee.
