The gym itself is nice however I had to cut my first training session there short. 1:30 p.m. , weekday... A bit congested and tough to get a real routine. Too many "hot young ladies" in the leg area bending, stooping, and making everyone feel like they're the thirsty one.. Problem is when they stand in front of the mirror, where else can us "thirsty men" watch their form?? Ridiculous..and for that alone 2 stars I'm going to train either early morning, or later in the evening... Take care, brush ya hair!

Client gym etiquette was extremely poor. Gym equipment for cables are thrown all over the floor. And overall gym is not very clean

I workout with boxes, sled, plyo, personal training area and always respect trainers area and clients. Sunday NO ONE was training and I was ask to leave this area by "Royce" who sent one of the young guys to tell me. Royce said personal training area is ONLY for trainers and kicked me out. Earlier there were others in this area and no one was in the gym, NO trainers training. NO LA Fitness I have ever been to has done this, I believe Royce's choice to disrupt my training was based on "other" reasons, I'm new to this gym, area and I don't look like everyone else. I didn't choose to speak with Royce because I didn't want negativity or my energy disrupted as my workout was, if this is "Royce" rule he or she needs to be consistent. LA Fitness is a corporate gym not a training or sports specific personal gym. Making members uncomfortable etc. is not a part of health and wellness. The gym is my sanctuary and peace I shouldn't feel uncomfortable or have my peace disrupted please and thank you.

VERY unprofessional and I will not be returning to this location. I have been with La fitness for many years. I have never had any issues until today. My fiancé and I visited this location to workout. We were working out together when we were approached by a LA Fitness manager. The Male was Caucasian with blonde hair muscular build. The Caucasian male approached my fiancé and I in an aggressive matter demanding that I not “Personal train” at that location. My Fiancé was unfamiliar with that piece of equipment and I was explaining to her how to use it to prevent her from injuring herself. Instead of him asking professionally what I was doing, he assumed otherwise. I advised the employee that we were working out together like we always do. The Caucasian male insisted I was lying and threatened to cancel my membership. I believe that since I do not look like most people in the gym, being that I am a person of color the employee attempted to humiliate me in front of other gym goers and his coworkers. I am a Police Officer and I have never felt the prejudice that I felt at this location. It’s a shame because the facility is new but it does not matter if minority’s do not feel welcome. I am leaving this review not to shame all the staff but the man who’s probably subjected other African Americans to this same ordeal. I rarely write reviews but I know I am not the first to experience this at this location. No one deserves to feel uncomfortable or singled out due to one mans ignorance.

I use to love this gym. It’s clean and well equipped for the most part. But it’s way over crowded and a ton of high schoolers standing around. Extremely hard to get a work out in between 2pm - 8pm. I get a better work out at home lately.

Used to be a great and clean gym before COVID, and now it's just an overcrowded gym with broken equipment filled with people texting and hogging machines Rarely I get to complete my entire routine. If you're a busy adult that cannot afford to spend an hour extra workout spent waiting, avoid this gym at all costs.

The manager (Rockfee Walsh) of any business should always take phone calls from customers. A manager shouldn't ever screen calls, or have phone-answering employee ask what the call is regarding. A manager should be ready and willing to talk to any customer in any situation. The manager of this gym does not do that.

Great workouts, coaches and most importantly results! I enjoy the great playlists throughout the workout that keep you pumped. Even though it’s a group class, you are competing against yourself and you get real-time data to make sure you are challenging yourself. I’m very pleased with both physical and mental health results. I also know that these investments will make sure I protect my heart so I have more time in the future with my family, friends and colleagues.

I love this gym, clean and large with new equipment. Staff is very helpful, and Daniel signed me up and has gone out of his way to make sure I am enjoying my experience every time I see him in the gym. Beats 24 hour!

This is my favorite LA Fitness because of the fantastic layout and vast array of equipment. There is a big warm up/stretching section with mats, the class studios are massive, and the turf section is also huge with a ton of equipment everywhere. The custodial staff are phenomenally friendly and keep the place spotless. The pool is so beautiful it almost looks like a resort. Love this gym!

Staff at front desk is very rude and disrespectful. Does not make eye contact as if they cannot be bothered. One girl was annoyingly bouncing a ball over and over on the desk as I was talking to another staff. Very strange. The equipment seems ok although I have had better experience elsewhere. May not renew my membership.

The pool only has 4 lanes and it’s outside. Seems to be strictly for lap swim. Going to check out another facility.

Would have gotten 5 stars except the sauna is 3rd party and requires and additional membership. Unfair and unacceptable.

This gym doesn’t open till 8 AM on both Saturday and Sunday. Can’t understand why you’d wait until 8 AM on both days during the weekend to let people come work out it’s ridiculous. It used to be open early on Saturdays an open at 8 AM on Sundays now it’s both like people don’t want to waste their Saturdays and Sundays in the gym open earlier like everyone else.

Our group was in the area and swung by this gym for a quick stop while we were in the area. This place is immaculate, spotless, friendly and has the best helpful staff. Thanks for making our visit extra!!

Best gym I've been to. It's the people and how much they do put everything back where it belongs as much as possible. I do this, and it appears as though everyone that comes here does too.

Pros: Not too crowded, plenty of equipment, helpful staff and friendly gym users. Less hassle to bring a guest compared to other gyms. Cons: some of the equipment is older and starting to show wear. Fees are about $50 per month for premium membership.

Huntington Beach location is my favorite. Even when it's busy there's plenty of machines and free-wieght avaliable.

Large, clean, modern, has shower privacy curtains, lounge area with TV. The surrounding areas are nice & has a spacious parking lot.

Love this gym, trainers are so supportive . You feel welcome as soon as you enter and everyone there becomes your friend. Good variety of classes to keep you motivated and fun.

Small crowd between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m. Great time to workout if you can make it between those hours.
