Stunning beach, the water is crystal clear. I recommend walking 5min away to avoid the crown (in the direction of "point prime". I found a beach where I was literally the only one! Look at the pictures and judge for yourself!

Here's the deal with Plage d'Argent - it is an amazing beach, gorgeous surroundings, warm blue water with a sandy bottom that stays shallow 20 meters from shore. It's just a short walk from town. Sand on the beach itself can be a bit rocky and some areas have weeds piled up, but I want to be clear that this FOR SURE a 5 star beach compared to many many other beaches in this region, even when it's busy. That said, I don't think it's the best on Porquerolles. Both the beach north east from town and Notre Dame beach were slightly better. But ALL the beaches on the island are ridiculously good, so you really can't go wrong anywhere.

+ Good view + Life guards + White sand - dry posedonia grass everywhere and even in the sea - overcrowded - very slim beach - no showers - boats - very slow descent - overpriced restaurant

Nice place and close to the harbour so if you just come to the island and want to walk to the beach it is doable, nevertheless take 20 minutes into account. A bit busy really but quite unique due to trees near by.

Great beach especially for kids due to the nice water. Bring enough food and drinks. the only restaurant at the beach is a bit pricey.

Lovely turquoise beach on the island of Porquerolles. Pleasant 25 min walk from town through the woods. Fine sand and clear water await as does a low key restaurant for dine in or picnicking on the beach.
