It's a horrible hotel to stay in, you pay a premium amount and expect service to be excellent, but it was just horrible. I informed a day in advance that I ll be checking in late and that please keep the room ready , but the room that I was given was not cleaned. Washroom had hairs lying around , used tea and sugar sachets were lying around, nobody picked the call at reception then I had to go and ask for a room change. And the rooms are extremely small. And we had to call multiple for towels, toiletries , water etc, nothing was kept . And staff showed an attitude like we asked for something that is forbidden. I was told while booking that ironing service is available at a charge and when I called for the same next morning, they delivered an iron to my room saying that you have to iron yourself sir. So be careful while booking. No CoVid protocols were being followed during breakfast buffet time, all tables were packed with people. There were so many people without masks and hotel management didn't do anything. Only helpful person was a girl at the reception. Rest all of the staff was rude and the hotel stay was awful. I won't recommend Holiday inn express to anyone. Kindly spend your hard earned money on a hotel that gives you a decent service.

My stay at Holiday Inn Express Hyderabad was pleasant. The basic room was clean and comfortable, meeting my expectations. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making my experience enjoyable. However, the amenities were average, and I hope to see some enhancements in that aspect.

Nice cosy, clean rooms, with space saving design. So you won't find a big bathroom nor a cupboard. But it has all other amenities including a gym and coffee shop along with 24 hour in room dining options. Helpful and courteous staff and excellent spread for breakfast.

Terrible experience.. Vowed that I will never visit that hotel again.. Rooms: Very small Bathroom: So tiny that your elbows will touch the walls while bathing, also the wash basin is in bedroom itself Breakfast: Too ordinary & no variety Room Service: You won't find any staff near your rooms Reception: Reached hotel quite late during check in & had no time for dinner. Got something packed from outside, so called the reception to provide me with a plate by the room service. Instead they were asking me to come to the reception & collect it myself (self service), saying it as hotel policy. I was stunned by this & called up customer care to report this, but their customer care is yet another disaster. Customer care: I was in requirement of a tax invoice for my stay as the reception people did not provide me during check out. Was contacting customer care for more than a week. They receive the call & keep forwarding it to random desks & this continues in loops. No solution provided. Finally I had to personally send a friend of mine in Hyderabad to explain this at the hotel reception & finally a bill was given. This invoice value was less than what I had paid through MakeMyTrip. NEVER NEVER NEVER VISIT THIS HOTEL (Holiday Inn)- I stayed in Banjara Hills branch. IT IS A TOTAL HEADACHE TO CUSTOMERS

I was here on my business trip to Hyderabad. I've stayed earlier at one of the other Holiday inn express format hotels. One shouldn't expect any thing big or extra ordinary like other hotels as it's a value for money format. Though these days these category of hotels also doesn't come cheap..!! You get all basic amenities in this hotel. It's about an hour away from the airport. It's located in the heart of the city and in a posh locality of Hyderabad. My experience of the hotel was not good. The staff has "who cares" attitude. I complained about my shower which was nit fixed. Floor and carpet were dirty. Thankfully bathroom and toilets were super clean. Linen was fresh and bed was comfortable, had a good night sleep. Ordered in room dining cheese tomato sandwich, the cheese tasted horrible.

This should be renamed as Holiday Inn Youth Hostel because that’s how it feels like. Ultra small rooms and not so well thought out. Bathroom is very cramped and so is the toilet with very little privacy. Room is best suited for one person. If you are two people in the room then it has to be a person who is your spouse/boyfriend-girlfriend. I’d never share the room with a friend because the lack of space and privacy makes me feel queasy. The quality of food is not great either but I just hope the chef was having a bad day. Maybe it will be good one day, but I don’t know if I ever want to find out ever again. The only upside is the location. Fairly close to shopping areas and restaurants. And certainly overpriced for the amenities. We ended up paying 6k/room/night. I think I’d give it a miss. Btw the 3 stars is for the location only and because I don’t like bashing businesses over these things.

The rooms are super small along with dirty shower areas. The hotel room is good for one person for one night only. It does not even have a closet to hang clothes and there is absolutely no space to keep the luggage. You will feel so cramped that you would want to get out of the room. The only plus point about this hotel is the location. If you care less about the location you should avoid it. Even at this location there are better affordable hotels.

Located in the upscale Banjara Hills area of Hyderabad, the Holiday Inn Express offers a comfortable and convenient stay for travelers. The hotel's modern design and well-appointed rooms provide a welcoming atmosphere for guests. The staff is courteous and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant experience throughout the stay. One of the highlights of this hotel is its complimentary breakfast buffet, which offers a variety of delicious options to start the day off right. Additionally, the convenient location allows easy access to nearby attractions and business centers, making it ideal for both leisure and business travelers. The rooms are spacious, clean, and equipped with all the necessary amenities, including comfortable beds, a work desk, and free Wi-Fi. Overall, the Holiday Inn Express in Hyderabad, Banjara Hills, offers excellent value for money with its affordable rates, convenient location, and comfortable accommodations. Dear Hotel Inn Express Hyderabad, your rooms have very less space and bathroom also has very less space. Also please make sure that a hairdryer and toothpaste kit must be available. There was no space at all in the shower room and bathroom. But at the brighter side, your hotel was decked up with christmas trees and staff was kind. Still pretty bad. Also food was great. Please take care of space of the rooms. Thank you.

The hotel is good with good staff. The rooms are small but well equipped with all the facilities. Breakfast was amazing too. The only issue is that the rooms aren’t well ventilated and also the hotel has just one small restaurant. The area is good and the place is well connected. A perfect business hotel!

This is by far the worst hotel I’ve stayed in my life. Dirty washtub, toilets, broken switches and untidy floors. They dint even have the room cleaned after 1 day despite calling and asking them to clean room. The manager on-site sucks big time. I would avoid this place at all cost next time. The food is just ok; do not expect taste if you are vegetarian. The manager and their staff weren’t wearing mask most time. I asked manager to clean the room multiple teams directly and over phone as the place was dirty. They did not clean the place during our 2 day stay. I wish I could give negative rating to this place. I’ve reached out to IHG to report such poor hotels. I’ve given 2 stars as IHG Customer team (not the hotel manager/staff) reached out and promised to fix the concerns. Wish they fix or close such hotels.

The hotel is nice. The rooms are compact, for one person, for a single night. This is Holiday inn EXPRESS, for smart travellers (remote work related). The room service was good. Nothing to complain about the breakfast. Easily accessible. The one downside, very small restroom and bath. NOTE: if you are willing to pay a 1500 extra, go for Taj which is close by.

I had some expectations from this place, this being a holiday inn chain. I am hugely disappointed in the level of professionalism, amenities, cleanliness, hospitality, breakfast spread, in essence everything other than location. Let's talk about room now- they have interconnecting doors between rooms which means that you end up hearing everything your next room neighbour talks/ watches etc.

The only thing i missed was a working desk in the room. Everything else at this hotel is amazing considering the price we pay and the options around. 6 star rating for the super friendly and professional staff. Complimentary breakfast was a plus (and was good)

Very small rooms. Bathrooms were too small. Parking is in basement(2 levels below ground) access to parking is very narrow and scary. No hotel staff to escort. Breakfast spread was not good. Cake had fungi. No one bothered with our complaint. Not expected from Holiday Inn chain. Will Never recommend anyone.

One of the worst stay. Not even 3000 worth of rooms.. charged approx 5000 per day. Almost 40 plus room per floor there are no steps to come down and we have depend only on 2 lifts. That too accommodating 6 to 7 people only. Restaurant and food I haven't explored.. Asked for a plate for my dinner. They asked me to come down and take the plate to room. And Gym for this kind of big property is very small.. only 4 to 5 people can do the workouts at a time in that gym.

The room was small but cozy, and while I understand that the size cannot be changed, I feel there are a few things that could be done to improve comfort. Having a chair to work on the wall table would be great, and it would be wonderful to have a pair of bath towels and other accessories for two people. On the positive side, the food tasted good, and I liked the unique way it was served in a tiffin box. I must mention that the staff was extremely courteous throughout my stay.

I am utterly displeased with my stay at Holiday Inn. The room, supposedly tidy, reeked, ruining any semblance of comfort. The staff's unprofessional demeanor was beyond frustrating. This experience falls far below acceptable standards, and immediate action is warranted to rectify these glaring issues for future patrons. Disappointing, to say the least.

Cleanliness is fine. I don't know why they forgot to replace towels on the last day for all of us. Very small rooms with no cupboard. . The bathroom doors are transparent so please remember this if you plan to share rooms. The complementary breakfast is amazing. You get a wide selection of food items Indian breakfast, croissants, breads, cereal, sausage, fruits, etc. I advise not to choose holiday inn at this area thinking it would be as good compared to holiday Inn in Delhi and Mumbai.

Hello everyone, This hotel is very good and comes under budget for everyone visiting hyderabad as a tourist. If we see the rooms it was very compact and the washrooms are very tiny. The room i got is too compact and the lock of washroom is not working. Services are good, sometimes they are not providing bath towels, we need to remind them. Overall it is good.

So my initial experience with the actual rooms was not great as the room leaked water from the ceiling and had a rancid moldy odour. Fast forward, changed rooms next day, same thing, the third room was the charm, no odour, no leaks. Best thing about the place is the staff, no hesitation in changing my rooms and also big shout out to the cleaning crew, very honest as I,forgot some money in the room 1500 in, and they reported it to the front desk. Keep up the good work guys, blessings.

Very bad hotel. I booked because of the brand name Holiday Inn. Entry into the building is dark, no one to guide or help. Hotel is in second floor, actually there is no lobby, adjacent to counter there is restaurant. No kitchen in the hotel, cold food is served, food taste and spread is below average. Rooms are very small, wash basin is inside room, feels very suffocated. They charge 4500 plus tax, not worth it. It is not 3 star, not worth any star. Better hotels are available in Hyderabad at 3000.Big disappointment.

I even don't want to give 1 star to this accommodation. Worst experience. I stayed here 3 night with my family. Reason Ac is not working and water leaking problem . Very uncomfortable Bed size. For single travel it's ok. With family don't plan at this Hotel. I am really feel so bad that I have paid a big amount and experience is worst. The below photos attached for Ac service doing at 10.30 p.m night.

Located on the top 4 floors, it is fully dependent on the lifts. On 24 Feb one lift was on repair causing inconvenience to visitors. Check-in was smooth but the briefing done during checkin seemed like a memorized discourse that had to be delivered within 30 seconds in one breath. There was no effort to find out if the guest had understood or not. Rooms however are too cozy and well decorated with a mini bar, locker etc. The wardrobe was lacking but hangers were provided (open display of clothes may not be advisable if you have visitors to your room or are traveling in a group or staying with unrelated persons). It is the first hotel I saw with a separate entry for the WC and shower area, with the WC right next to the entry. Internet speeds are very good. Dinner was not worth it but the breakfast had huge choices. Lack of coordination among service staff was evident during dinner service with delay in laying the buffet. Next time I come to Hyderabad I shall surely book this property for the excellent sleep quality.

Manageable for 1 person. Uncomfortable for 2 people. The worst experience ever. - The rooms were small and compact, which is fine. But having the wash basin near the bed!? - Open the taps of the wash basin (near the bed) and you have a fountain of water splashing around. - They don’t have a place to keep your cloths. We were forced to use the bed for everything. - I’m 6ft tall and the commode was the most uncomfortable. - Rusty rack in the shower capsule. - Room service was terrible. Took them ages to get things like towels which is basic necessities that were not arranged. - Breakfast was the worst I’ve had so far. Dry sausages, idli vada that wasn’t fresh, Batura that was rock solid. - One day we were short of time and asked for breakfast on the go, they gave us 1 small sandwich each. Does it get any worse? - The housekeeping entered our room for cleaning without consent! On giving them feedback the folks at the reception took it very lightly. I would strongly recommend spending on any other place.

Great location. Decent service. Rooms : If you are 5ft and below and are staying alone , then it's great for you. But if you are traveling with a companion then it is a really tight squeeze. The central AC that keeps konking off is no better. No space to keep your luggage and the bathroom situation is tricky with no solid doors and basin right in the room. Won't recommend it if you are traveling with someone and don't want to become too familiar with their bodily functions. The wifi is great.

Outside the city, rooms are nice but little conjusted, bathrooms and toilets are for name sake, ambiance is very nice, service is very nice, food also tasty. There are no swimming pools and bathtubs in any room, site shows both the things in pics, I went just to enjoy pools and bathtub but it was a great disappointment for us. Everything must visit location is far from this place

This hotel is a blot on the brand Holiday inn Express . Third rate . Place .The room flooded as the water pipe leaked No maintainence . They are looting as the tariff for cage like rooms are too high. Food is very very bad quality. Flies insects creep all over .never eat here. The front desk staff is too lazy arrogant and have no courtesy requried for a hospitality job. The hotel is a third rate place. NEVER GO THERE EVEN IF OFFERED FREE. Too bad They should be dragged to consumer court for cheating customers. .

Please be aware that room size is extra small (tiny?) in Standard. Washbasin is near to the bed and there is literally no space to move. If two people wish to stay in one room, please forget that idea. No cupboards and a definetly run down on the Holiday Inn name despite that this Express.

Stinky rooms. Tiniest holiday inn room I have ever stayed. Bed wasn’t comfortable, dirty and stinky sheets, comforter, pillow. Towel turned grey (not washed properly over and over) and smelled very bad. Very very very very small rooms. Very bad smelling hallways, rooms, bedding and towels. Breakfast was avg, idly were dry, poha was like rubber. Don’t dare to try parantha after seeing oily plate it was kept in, I’m sure parantha was very oily Only good thing about this hotel is the location. Definitely not worth the high price and doesn’t deserve to be a IHG hotel. Other non branded economy hotels are much better than this at half the price.

My significant other stayed here. I booked it for her due to a work emergency. Great place, I would call it a transit property. The room sizes are small but neatly designed. The location is great. She had no complains about the property. Just be aware that they don't have much of a option for food and you may easily order it through swiggy or zomato.

Very Compact room but have everything that I need except limited clothes hanging space. Confortable for only one person, if stay more than one may feel a bit tight. Nice staffs. Need to wait for the lift quite a while during a rush hour due to only one working at that time.

Good business and professional hotel. Staffs are very good and cooperative. Rooms are noise free and very clam stay. Ambiance of hotel is perfect for all category of travelers and safe as well. Spread of breakfast is OK but test of food is nice. Point of concern, hotel doesn't have own kitchen they order the food from outside and option for vegetarian is very less. Bathroom is very small even entire room itself is very compact and small in size.

Worst hotel I had stayed, very small bathroom and toilet, no proper service, sometimes if you request for a service they claim that this self serviced hotel. Happy to rate minus 5star. Worst experience. I wonder to see people rate 4 and 5 star. They have given guest access to their lift service even that is waste it doesn't work properly. People who ever stayed here and if you agree this, give a like.

Tv was not working . I had to ask them for repair for 3 consecutive days . They did not provide a hand towel. Only on the day of check out did they provide a hand towel I asked them to do room cleaning onnthe day of check out. But no one came despite waiting. This process repeated 3 times. On 4 th instance went downstairs and only then did they come. The manager defended herself by saying that no cleaning service is provided on date of check out. Only good thing about the hotel is the breakfast and the rest of the services.

Rooms were tiny, with no cupboards or hangars. Breakfast service was chaotic, with the staff completely oblivious to what was going on. Some of them even had an attitude when asked to provide plates and cutlery that weren't available. Rooms were clean however and the house keeping staff did an excellent job everyday to keep it clean and tidy.

  • 2/5 Priya S. 2 years ago on Google
The rooms we got (for 3.5 k/night) were like living in a shoebox. These were the 'Queen room' and 'double bed room', both of which were incredibly tiny with not even enough space to keep a suitcase on the ground. The shower can barely fit one person. And the toilet is separate from the shower, and for some reason does not have a full door, but the cubicle toilet- like door which is open at the bottom and top. Meaning there would be no privacy, amd every sound and smell would emanate into the room. Check-in process and room service was extremely slow. The plus point was the the place is clean and well maintained, and the bed is good. Not worth the money.

Rooms are extremely small. Service is pathetic. When I'd asked for an empty plate, bowl n spoon, I was told if you've ordered outside food then you'll have to come to 2nd floor reception lobby and collect plate bowl n spoon by yourself as we can give it only if you're placing order in hotel restaurant. I've never experienced such rude & selfish behaviour. I'd requested to subscribe only 1 sports channel and i was even ready to pay the charges for the same but i was told that they cannot subscribe any other channel except for which they've already subscribed the free to air channels. Only food (breakfast) was good. There's no bellboy or any service to assist in carrying your luggage. You have to carry it by yourself only. It's a 1 star hotel. Not at all recommended for any 1st timers or even for a repeat stay. Customer is King. But this hotel will treat you like a beggar and not like a King. Holiday Inn & IHG needs to upgrade their policies & services else a frequent traveller like me will never stay at your hotel.

Too noisy, couldn't sleep without earplugs, cause my room was facing big road, hotel people promised to changed for next day, but probably forgot. Food is mostly half cooked frozen. Butter chicken was good. Breakfast was excellent.

Though it has a brand of holiday inn express but it does not meet the expectations. The hotel was unclean I had to wait at the reception for like 20 minutes unattended the receptionist was not present. When I got my room the tv was not working and the complain was addressed after an hour the overall feeling was not nice I would Not recommend this hotel. I hope the hotel improves because I love the brand.

The rooms are tiny. So it's best for business travellers and not much for families. There's enough parking and it's in a good part of town. There was only one elevator working for the duration of my stay which meant that it was faster to use the stairs than wait for the elevator. The food is so-so but there are enough good places nearby to order in from.

I had very bad experience with hotel. Room size is very very small. Interior design is good. Few staff members are not good. Female receptionist doesn't listen to your query or any request. They just speak what they have to speak. Everytime you to need to punch card from reception (2nd floor) to your floor in lift. Card will work 1 out of 10+ times only. 3 other persons complaint about bad quality of dinner. Breakfast is good, have enough variety but space is less. Dinner buffet price are also not realistic as per food offered. You can't use stairs also, they are locked. I don't know how they are managing their Emergency exit by closing stairs doors.

The rooms are very tiny, and when bathing the water leaks out from the bath area into the room. The hotel does not provide basic toiletries (shampoo conditioner soap). Only shower gel was provided. The hotel calls itself a business hotel but does not have a working iron facility. The iron in the common room is burn and defective. They do not have an in-house restaurant. AC stopped working in the middle on the night and they had a technitian fix it in the room in the middle on the night inconveniencing the guest rather than just changing the room. No option to refill water bottle, only 500ml mineral bottles are provided at the front desk each time, takes forever to be sent to the room. Breakfast is repetitive everyday. Pros : room cleaning is done everyday , bed linen is clean, hot shower available , room has a kettle.

It’s a small and comfortable stay . Perfect for one person . The staff is courteous and the rooms are squeaky clean . Not the best in terms of their food expectations. The rooms are ok, I booked 2, relatively small but worked for us. There is no clothes' drawer, your staff will be hanging in the room. The restaurant is very bad, too small, sometimes you need to wait for someone to finish their food for you to get a table. Not only that, but the food has no variety, same food everyday, doesn't taste nice and most of the time you will be waiting as they need to refill all containers, ALL, not few. I paid for breakfast at check-in, but I only had it for a couple of days. I had to skip for the rest of my stay. However, staff in the restaurant are very friendly and helpful. BUT staff at the reception are not that friendly. They don't smile or show they care about customer. At checkout, they tried to charge me again.. be careful, and keep your receipts. Overall, I don't think I am going to stay here again.

Do Not stay here. Tiny room. Horrible service. No fresh food. Only re-heated food is served. Even that takes over an hour to serve. Avoid like a plague or Corona to be more contextual. I am in the hotel , ordered dinner at 7 50pm. Was promised within 20 to 25 min despite an request for quick service. No dinner even now at 8 50 pm.

Location is very Good. Perfect place if you are on a business trip or solo traveller who is mostly out during the day and comes back to the hotel room only for crashing onto the bed. Rooms are small ..ok..everyone has mentioned... But the rooms are extremely efficiently designed so as not to not give any trouble or discomfort to the solo occupant. Breakfast spread was thoughtful. Food tasted great as in all places in the city. There will be minimal interaction with staff.. As a family... Go only if you cannot afford other places !!! Period...

They are overpriced for the rooms and amenities they provide and the staffs not very helpful or welcoming. It feels like your paying for a prime property just to be treated like any other normal hotel. I would suggest anyone choosing this place that there are better properties with better staff behaviour than holiday inn. For example: the lemon tree, etc. I booked a room in lemon tree the very next day and had a much better experience there.

I recently stayed here and had a great experience overall. While the rooms were on the smaller side, the hotel made up for it in other ways. The location was fantastic, with easy access to nearby attractions and restaurants. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the amenities, such as the pool and fitness center, were top-notch. Despite the small room size, I was able to make myself comfortable and appreciate the well-designed space. Overall, I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay."

For the price, the Hotel was dismal. The rooms were extremely tiny and it looked like we were boxed inside. In the restaurant, we ordered some food and a particular item took bit long. When my wife asked the waitress that one particular item was not delivered, she queried back by saying, "Is it"?. The staff looks low on motivation. As a former Hotelier myself (I have worked at the Holiday Inn at Agra, India as a HR Manager), I was both baffled and surprised.

It's too early to provide a review about my stay at Holiday Inn Express Hyderabad, however it was such a very pleasant one. It's my first time to be in India for a company all-expenses paid business trip. The room was clean and comfortable, however, amenities were average which is fairly decent. The hotels location is strategically accessible to some of their famous tourist spots. The hotel staffs are extremely friendly and accommodating especially Biswajit who always greets with a smile and offer his service. I also would like to commend all the room service personnel who provides excellent service all day.

Rooms are very dirty. Toilet & bathroom is very small and just opp to bed. Reception manager was speaking very rude and arrogant. Double bed cot also small size. Residents and reception is first floor in the building and I never seen any like this.
