Beautiful Place for Kids. Last time I went, there was no Museum, Dolls, Etc. Now it was well established. We could see olden culture and their works for living. Can go through of those days by leaving busy city life. What excites me is Birds, Dolls, Museum. But I hardly missed fountains, Boating. And food inside is a little bit high. And cost for adult is 60, Child 20Rs. Happy Weekend!!

It is a nice place to go and relax with family and friends. There are some small games which children can play. One thing that attracts me is the setup of village professions/artisans. It is excellent to witness different types of village artisans which we couldn't find nowadays. There are some stalls there like cups, dresses etc. There is also one restaurant inside but it was closed when we went there. It'll take a minimum of two hours to visit all the places inside there. We can enjoy nature thoroughly. Sanitation facilities are also there for ladies and gents. The ticket price is also nominal. Go for it👍

Nice place for hangouts - you can get lots of nice backgrounds and cutouts to click some nice photo. Boating option is there. Food stalls are there - quality of food is just average. It is a good place for shopping. But you will find the same goods in 200-300 rupees lower price in other markets. So, do bargain; however, I am not sure, even after bargaining how much it will work as most of the shopkeepers were saying their price is fixed. Entry fee - 60.

This is one of the best and most underrated places in Hyderabad. When I first came to Hyderabad, I never thought about visiting Shilparamam. However, my parents suggested it, and it turned out to be awesome. It's huge and has many things to explore. You can see a pond, beautiful huts where you can take numerous pictures, a bird park with a variety of birds, and many shops where you can buy antique items and much more. I highly recommend visiting this place; it's truly a hidden gem in the city. We really enjoyed this place. The ticket price is only 60 INR, which is nothing compared to the experience this place offers. It's a must-visit if you want to spend quality time with your family. The variety of activities and attractions available make it well worth the visit, and the affordable ticket price makes it accessible to everyone. I highly recommend this place for a fun and memorable family outing.

Beautiful place to visit. But don't visit at night. Try to complete your visit at the stone sculpture area before 6PM as it gets darker and the lights are all either switched off or damaged. It is located in the extreme end, so go visit the stone sculpture first and then come back to the remaining areas. The entry fee is Rs.60 for Adults. I think for camera they charge 500Rs.

One of the beautiful and best place for outing in center of Hyderabad. Huge shopping place for all the decor and clothing inside the Shilparamam. Prices are little bit costly but depends on the bargaining we do with the sellers. They have huge collections of clothings, interiors, decors and etc. It also has a great area to roam around and play area for kids. They have beautiful views and water flows around the Lord Krishna. Sculpture park inside the place but it is little outdated and not maintained properly. They have a boating for 30 rupees per adult and a decent experience for family and kids. Kids can have some good time inside the place with some birds and ducks. Small ponds with fishes which makes exciting for all and especially kids. They also have good cafeteria and snacks places inside the place for refreshing. Evening they have some good events happening inside the area where we can sit and enjoy. Saw some artists also who sketches our faces in beautify and artistic way. Overall a great experience and make time for 1day with morning to evening to enjoy the place.

I love this park. I’ve been in better appointed parks without broken-down boating parks and half the areas closed down but this place is loved and cared for by those who are there and that comes across. It’s also a quiet space in a busy area with a generic market (not a patch on Charminar) but it’s a great place to stroll through and just be alone with your thoughts for a while

Nice, clean and calm place in the midst of this city's noisy life. One should definitely come here maybe with family or even friends. Tons of authentic stuff to buy at a relatively lower cost. Beautiful lighting and vibe inside. Timings are good, entry closes at around 8:30pm but one can stay inside upto 10pm and the shops remain open till then.

The bullock cart is a cute attraction. This place is know for their handicrafts. The prices are a little high but you can surely bargain. The ethnic wear they sell is unique and very good collection. amazing encounter It has a quaint feel to it. Shoppers can find a variety of goods here. The villager homes and their way of life in the old days were what I liked the most about the presentation. There is a sculpture park here, and I really liked how the sculptures were made out of scrap material. However, some areas are off limits. They are still being built. Lastly, I adored this location. Friends, just go once for a great experience.

Amazing place! It's like a cultural amusement park. Hats off to the architect who envisioned this magnificent campus and utilised its natural topography and rock formations! Lots of handicrafts and other artefacts to buy at reasonable prices. Several beautifully developed gardens, including a small aviary and children's play area. The small traditional village setup is a must see. A vibrant amphitheatre with dance performances free for visitors every weekend. The maintenance team also does justice to those who developed this campus originally with a grand vision.

Very good family outing place for a day. It was opened only at 10:30am against 10 am. Hitech metro station is just half a KM distance. Entry ticket ₹60 per head for adult. Many stalls were found empty. May be because of corona issue? Boating can be done in the lake. Model village huts were made, which looked very good. Neat toilets were there. Drinking water was available free. Ceramic cookwares, sarees and earrings, mala etc were sold. Everywhere lovers were found sitting behind bushes in unpleasant way, which distracts children. Overall neat and good place. IKEA is just 3 km from this place. You can catch metro from Hitech metro station and get down next station Raidurg. Alternatively you can go by bus and auto as well.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Shilparamam Hyderabad in the evening, and I must say it was an awe-inspiring experience. Nestled amidst the vibrant city, this cultural village proved to be a delightful haven, showcasing the rich and diverse heritage of India. From the moment I stepped foot inside, I was captivated by its charm. As the sun began to set, the entire atmosphere at Shilparamam transformed into a magical wonderland. The beautifully lit pathways and traditional architecture created an enchanting ambiance. The picturesque setting, surrounded by lush greenery, added to the allure of this cultural hub. One of the highlights of my visit was exploring the plethora of arts and crafts on display. Local artisans showcased their exquisite craftsmanship, weaving intricate tales through their creations. From handcrafted pottery to vibrant textiles and intricately carved wooden artifacts, the talent and skill of these artisans were truly remarkable. I found myself engrossed in conversations with the artists, gaining insights into their techniques and the stories behind their masterpieces. The evening came alive with a myriad of cultural performances that left me spellbound. The open-air amphitheater was the stage for various traditional dances, music, and theatrical performances. The performers, dressed in vibrant costumes, showcased the rich cultural heritage of different states of India. Their grace, energy, and passion brought the stories to life, leaving the audience in awe. While strolling through the bazaar, I discovered a treasure trove of handicrafts, jewelry, clothing, and souvenirs. The vibrant marketplace offered a delightful shopping experience, allowing me to bring a piece of Shilparamam's magic home with me. The friendly vendors and their warm smiles made the experience even more enjoyable. The culinary delights at Shilparamam were another highlight of my evening. The food court offered a variety of traditional Indian cuisines from different regions, satisfying even the most discerning palates. From lip-smacking street food to delectable regional delicacies, every bite was a culinary adventure. What truly impressed me about Shilparamam Hyderabad was its commitment to preserving and promoting Indian art and culture. The attention to detail, the passion of the artists, and the dedication of the organizers were evident throughout my visit. It is not just a tourist attraction but a living testament to the artistic legacy of India. In conclusion, my evening at Shilparamam Hyderabad was an experience that will stay with me forever. It transported me to a world of colors, traditions, and stories, leaving me inspired and in awe of the rich cultural heritage of India. If you're visiting Hyderabad, I highly recommend immersing yourself in the magic of Shilparamam. It is a true gem that celebrates the soul of India and promises an unforgettable journey through art, culture, and enchantment.

What an extraordinary experience! The moment I set foot in this enchanting place, I was immediately captivated by its quaint and welcoming village-like atmosphere. The ambiance exuded a sense of warmth and nostalgia that instantly made me feel at ease. As I strolled through the charming streets, I couldn't help but notice the delightful handcrafted shops lining the pathways. Each store boasted a mesmerizing collection of artisanal treasures, showcasing the incredible talents of local craftsmen. From intricately designed pottery to beautifully woven textiles, the craftsmanship was nothing short of awe-inspiring. I couldn't resist but indulge in some unique souvenirs to cherish the memories of this magical place. However, the highlight of the entire trip had to be the self-pedaled boating adventure, which turned out to be an absolute treat, especially for children. The glistening azure lake provided the perfect setting for this delightful activity. As I pedaled along the tranquil waters, I couldn't help but revel in the joyous laughter of children echoing through the air. Their eyes sparkled with pure excitement and wonder, creating an atmosphere of joy that was infectious. In the midst of the serene environment, time seemed to slow down, allowing us to savor every precious moment. The reflections of the surrounding lush greenery danced on the water's surface, creating a picturesque scene that will forever be etched in my memory. Without a doubt, this experience was nothing short of remarkable. The blend of traditional charm, artistic brilliance, and the sheer joy of boating amidst nature made it an unforgettable and cherished moment. This quaint village has a way of leaving an indelible mark on one's heart, and I know that the memories of this captivating escapade will stay with me for a lifetime.

A must Visit place for Tourists and People Living in Hyderabad. Source: Wikipedia Shilparamam, a crafts village, conceived in the year 1992, is situated just about few kilometers from Hyderabad city. Sprawling over 65 acres (260,000 m2) of land in the hi-tech hub city of India, Shilparamam gives a scenic ambience of tradition and cultural heritage. For promotion and preservation of Indian arts and crafts and to motivate the artisans, the state government established this platform.

A spacious place for families to spend some time together. Children will love it. You need a minimum of 2 hours to roam around the place. Waterfall, rock garden, village museum, animals etc are a few to mention. It'll be better to avoid weekends as the place will be over-crowded. We visited around 4pm. Stalls are good but a bit pricey. Handicrafts, ready-made clothes, handloom clothes like ikkat, chikankari etc, ceramic jars, wooden artifacts, carpets, clay pots, bangles, ear rings, electric lights etc are available. The minus point is no sign boards. Once we enter the premises, we will be left clueless to which direction to move. Eateries are also there. One veg meals stall where you'll get fried rice, tomato rice etc, also one dosa counter, one chat stall, a canteen where we get tea, coffee, samosa etc.and plenty of corn and candy stalls. Paid parking is available which is a bliss.

This is one of the best places to visit in Hyderabad. Here you can find varieties of handicrafts. It's surrounded by beautiful cottages, artificial waterfalls, birds and so on. Must recommend visiting this place. The entry ticket is Rs. 60 per person, only cash payment is allowed here.

Amazing place again, skip the shops if you are not planning to buy any thing and to same time. Evening is the best time to visit. Looks too good under lights. Too good place for kids. The sculptures and village replicas are outstanding.

Average place to visit, means if you just want to walk with family in maintained garden then definitely this is nice place to be. But if you are tourist then you will find typically boring stuff such as (not so good wooden doll or idols/clay show pieces/textiles etc.) Which is slightly over priced due to hype. I did not taste food but it was looking good. Cleanliness could have been better i think considering it is a tourist attraction. Parking was stinky...so please ask family to get down before you enter parking

While visiting Hyderabad, everyone should plan a stop here as well. It has lot of variety on shopping of handmade materials. Shilparamam is a craft village which presents various traditional arts and crafts by artisans from all over the country. A perfect place for art lovers. Lot of fun for kids as well. Food and snacks options are also there.

A good place to relive our old traditions and watch the customary process our ancestors used to undergo. This place has a mini zoo, where we can see different species of birds across the globe and there is a children's play area here as well. There are many handicraft shops and shops to buy devotional souvenirs. This place also has an auditorium and function where weddings and similar functions can be organised in a lavish way. The best time to visit this place is after sunset as we can see the real beauty of this place in night lights

The theme of the village is as per traditional telugu village. I'd recommend visiting at least once. If you visit during daytime you can miss the amphitheatre performance and if you visit in the evening or night you'll miss the sculptures carved in the stone so there's always a tradeoff to think of. Tickets are 60 for adults. You can buy things made of clays and other decor things from here. I would recommend a bargain for the price. A food court is available inside. There's a bird zoo and a children's play area. You can expect around 3 hours to spend here to roam around all the places.

The complex of Shilparamam is supposed to have Crafts Museum, Cultural Museum, Art Gallery & Library, Multi-purpose Auditorium, Common Facility Workshops and Research & Design Centre along with accommodation facilities for artists and visitors. This is an ideal place for long walks too; its natural greenery dotted with carefully laid out sculptures and intricately designed buildings. There is also the facility of battery operated car which takes you for an enchanting tour of Shilparamam with a minimal charge. Shilparamam shopping is the famous not just residents of Hyderabad but also among tourists. Craftsmen from all over India, display their works here, varying from traditional jewellery, hand-woven saris, shawls, dresses, bed sheets, etc; and hand-crafted wooden and metal wares. It starts at 11 Am in the morning

Shilparamam is an arts and crafts village located in Hyderabad, known for promoting traditional Indian art and craft forms. Visitors often praise the vibrant and cultural ambiance of the place, where they can explore and appreciate the rich diversity of Indian craftsmanship. The village hosts numerous handicraft stalls featuring a wide array of products, such as textiles, pottery, jewelry, wooden carvings, and more. The artisans are skilled craftsmen from different parts of India, offering authentic and unique creations. Shilparamam also hosts various cultural events, including music and dance performances, traditional craft demonstrations, and exhibitions, making it an excellent place for tourists and locals alike to immerse themselves in the cultural heritage of India. The lush greenery and well-maintained surroundings of Shilparamam provide a serene atmosphere, making it a pleasant place to stroll around and enjoy the various attractions. However, some visitors have mentioned that prices can be higher compared to other local markets, as the focus is on promoting the artisans and preserving traditional crafts. Bargaining is still possible, but it may not be as prevalent as in other street markets. Overall, Shilparamam in Hyderabad is highly regarded for its efforts in preserving and promoting Indian art and crafts. It offers a unique experience, giving visitors an opportunity to connect with the country's cultural heritage while supporting local artisans.

One of the places in Hyderabad that you should not miss if you are an art lover . It's too big so it's advisable to go in afternoon. There is food court too . You can enjoy the boating also . Lots of shops selling handicraft items at reasonable prices . The traditional village was also good . You can't get anything better for the ticket charges you are paying

Shilparamam is like a stress-relief spa for your soul, right across from Cyber Tower. It's like a time machine 🎁 shop where you can buy cool ancient stuff. The garden there is the '😎🆒' away from the traffic chaos outside. Once you step inside, it's like a blast from the past, for it me--" a time-travel party where old meets new."⏳ It's like flipping through a funky history book of the last ten years. Shilparamam is basically the cool kid in town – always well-kept and ready for a good time. My advice? Check it out during the sunset or at night; it's like a cultural disco 🏀..

Place is really good. One can spend 4/5 hours here easily. Place is kept neat and clean and it has to be as they are charging Rs.60 as entry fee. When I visited Bharat Natyam dance was going on. I don't know it was on that particular day or regular, That means some event must be daily there. Shops are good for ordinary to high cost things. Best part is village information with statues and one can take pictures with own face as well. Overall it's a great place to spend time. Only price is on higher.

Outside food is allowed.. though previous reviews commented saying food is not allowed from outside..it's good n relaxing but better to go early in the morning, so that you can see everything patiently...cost of handicrafts & handlooms is bit high..good place for photography

  • 3/5 M U N S. 3 years ago on Google
It is a shopping Hub basically. Art and craft centre some how. Good for outing and relaxation with family. But the entry fee of ₹60 is high. How can a family of Lower middle class afford this. Entry fee is almost equal to meal in basic hotel. It is an indirect way of controlling the entry to specific class of people. Enough revenue is being generated from rentals of shopping stalls. Government should maintain the park infra etc. and should not think of maintaining with revenue from Entry fee.

Good and vast place. Many stalls are there to shop sarees, pottery etc. The ambience is also nice. There is a open theater as well where one can watch dance performances. Lot of people there so no social distancing maintained. Also many of the people not wearing masks. The ticket counter accepts only cash.

Quite a nice place to spend some time just walking around and do a little shopping (could be just window shopping). Have seen handicrafts, clothing options which have some geographical identity. Really impressive works in reasonable rates. Bargain as much as you can. If not you will end up paying quite high. Kids will enjoy little ride on boat and a walk around. Have some options to take a quick bite but no fancy stuff. Can't guarantee taste and quality. Parking free for 2 wheeler and charges Rs.30 for 4 wheeler... Parking area is just HORIBBLE.. avoid parking inside if you can...

First of all, this is not a must visit tourist place. Only if you have some spare time left in Hyderabad and you are on vacations, you can consider to visit. The good part is that this is walkable from Hi Tech City metro station. The place is dry. Not much happening. We visited in a weekday morning. May be that’s why it seemed so dry and not attractive. Only good thing we saw was the village museum.

  • 5/5 Sarbjeet S. 2 years ago on Google
The village was conceived with an idea to create an environment for the preservation of traditional crafts. There are ethnic festivals round the year. Shilparamam, a crafts village, conceived in the year 1992, is situated just about few kilometers from Hyderabad city. Sprawling over 65 acres (260,000 m2) of land in the hi-tech hub city of India, Shilparamam gives a scenic ambience of tradition and cultural heritage. For promotion and preservation of Indian arts and crafts and to motivate the artisans, the state government established this platform.

This is a 'heritage village' where you get to see the rural life of AP and Telangana. Good place to spend time with your family or take your guests for an outing. Prices in stall are a bit on the higher side and the food is way over priced. Entry fee is about ₹60 per person which is reasonable. Wash rooms are surprisingly clean.

The only improvement needed here is the quality and hygiene of food options. There are very limited stalls available inside. The food price is too high for the quality and taste offered. Other than this the place is great to spend one evening at. Try to visit at night because some of the spots look beautiful with the lightings. You can find many cultural events happening inside as well during evenings.

It consists of small village art, a pond with boating (sorry boating service was not available as there was no water), a small bird sanctuary, multiple vendors from outside states who were selling their product. Overall experience was great.

Amazing place to hangout with the family. This place takes you to your childhood, if you have grown up in a village or any kind with the typical Indian culture. It has many stalls such as for clothes, wooden items, paintings, sarees, and many more. You could also have food there during the visit as it has a tiny restaurant kinda one. There would always be live music in an open air auditorium which is a very big one with good seating capacity. Suggest you to be there by 4 pm to have a complete tour.
