I hope this park remains a well kept secret because with less crowd and peaceful sunsets, its a great experience!! Solitude and peace of mind at its best!! Try speed boating if you have time. 400 per trip for 4 people. Other boat rides are under Rs 100 Entry to park is Rs 50

The lake and the area around has been renovated and is well maintained now. They have started boating club as well. We have options like speed boat, pedal boat, Cruise/Delux. Overall a good place for hangout or morning/evening walk. Had a good boat ride.

One of the most amazing places in Hyderabad. The jogging track is really clean and well maintained. The lake is very serene and beautiful. The ambiance has a mix of concrete and rocks which makes it very unique.

Visited a month back. It looked like a Historical site of archeological interest. The unused amphitheater of 1500 capacity, the dust wrapped counters of restaurants, the unused freezers/ cabinets & the steps leading to different sectors of the park. My wife and I closed our eyes & imagined, how vibrant it must have been, when it was operating in full swing with light, music & camera ! Today it is managed by Telangana Tourism and the area that is in Present Tense are the views of the Durgam Cheruvu Lake, the ambience of rocks, the forest trails, blue water, the new Cable bridge (with vibrant lighting in evening) & the lives around this area aligning to the concrete. A must visit for Nature lovers !

Found this place by chance which musing on Google Maps and it’s aptly called Secret Park. Called the cab right away, around 6 in the evening and the ride upto the park was uphill and good. So the cab drops you at the entrance and one can walk all through the park and get a cab from the other side. Quite convenient. Pros: 1. When I reached the place, it was breathtaking. I could have never thought of such a place in my first visit to Hyderabad. 2. Looks like the whole park has been drilled out of a Rocky Mountain. 3. The ticket counter gentleman was helpful, told us there aren’t any cafés inside that are open, sold me a bottle of water. I thought it was a scam but cafés were closed inside due to pandemic. 4. Right when you enter the park, it’s a wonderland. Every footstep has been thought about. 5. There were so many places to be discovered that I thought what I’ll discover is couples making out but well they were just sitting and talking. 6. Walking all the way down, you have a lake! Can you imagine? With a bright cable bridge and a dome shaped something adorning it! A sight to behold! 7. Booked a speed boat too, wasn’t expensive at all. Gave a little extra to the driver and took me one more spin. Cons: 1. None. 2. Since cafés are closed, bring your own something to eat & drink.

The chills and freshness of air you feel in the November morning jogs.. be it over the Durgam Cheruvu cable bridge or the Durgam cheruvu park where you can get closer to the lake and enjoy the surreal stillness and tranquil while meditating, working out or just relaxing. I prefer to visit in early morning hours to get the best of this beauty and tranquility.

Pros: A great spot to enjoy nature. Lots of trees and benches Within the city The bridge looks beautiful Great spot for taking pics Cons: Very hot and humid The lake is so green that it looks like palak paneer without the paneer. The lake is very smelly in some spots. Boat guys charge double the official rate unless you fight. Lots of mosquitoes. Need to climb a lot of stairs. Saw a huge snake on the path to the boat.

Amazing place to explore with your family and friends. The entry fee is INR 20/person. And if you carrying a digital camera with you then they will charge INR 250 for the camera. Must have a Boat ride there, its fun. Night view is great. Definitely worth going to.

Now a days, no need of any introduction to this location. All most all the movies show this place 😂 Nice work and presentation in the park. One should go in the evening to experience a great weekend spot in hi-tech city.

A beautiful place to visit with your friends, family or partner. They have lakeside seating as well as indoor seating as well. Food options are less but whatever things they have on their menu it's good. In the evening, outdoor seating by the lake looks very beautiful and relaxing.

Saw this park from the outside on 28/11/20, as apparently all public places in this area, parks, lakes, ponds, waterfronts etc open only for a few hours in the morning & again for a few hours in the evening. There is a lotus pond and some structures of dinosaurs which I could glimpse from afar, but couldn't actually visit due to the time restrictions. Hopefully I'll get to visit some time in the future soon. Till then I'll rest with three stars, because I do feel that there will be a lot of visitors on Sunday, and there actually were a lot of children there at around 11 - 11.30 hoping to gain entrance. So I guess on holidays they could change the timings? Moreover the timing on Google Maps is 8:30 - 18:00 that's why most people were there...

Nice place to spend time. Can be visited once and spend couple of hours. We get good view of Durgam cheruvu cable bridge from different angles.Good for photoshoots too. There is a long path for walking and cycling across the border of the lake. There is a boating facility. Entry fee - 50rs and parking fee - 20rs was unnecessary. There is not much inside which demands both the fee. Can be maintained bit more properly and neatly. Can see people fishing there and there is a speed boating facility too but feels unnecessary as there's not much around the lake to watch in a speed boat like there is Buddha statue in Hussain sagar lake.

One of the serene and beautiful lake. It's in midst of hi tech city yet very serene. Entry ticket is 50 Rs and one needs to get down around 50 steps to reach the lake. Boating is also available. It offers good view of hanging bridge. There is also olive bistro cafe just beside the entrance which offers lovely view and ideal for dating Entry ticket :50 Rs for adults Timings : Till 6pm

Nice place for a morning or afternoon walk. it's just below the Durgam Cheruvu cable bridge. The park is completely built around the water body. There is a cycling track but I did not see anyone cycling. The park is still under construction. They have strated boating facility as well. There are two entrances one is near the boating facility and another one is bit inside. I saw lots of people fishing on the lake using fishing rods. So assuming they allow it.

Early morning before even sun rises, this place feels so calm and blissful without much crowd vehicle sounds, just only lake water and birds chirping. I am practicing to wake up early to enjoy the nature admist of the busy hyderabad city.. added few pictures to show how blissful and positive the place is

Situated quite close to the Hi-tech City, Durgam Cheruvu is one of the popular sightseeing places of Hyderabad. Presenting captivating scenic beauty, the lake is also known as the ‘Secret Lake’. This can be because of the fact that it is hidden by the surrounding granite rocks. The rock formations surrounding the lake are spread across an area of 63 acres of land and are said to be approximately 2500 million years old.

A very good place to have calm and peaceful environment and neat too.. it is a place in Madhapur near hi-tech City, a lake front park it's very good place for exercise, children, hangout with friends and family, walking and running, there were movie which has been shot here. There is a big chess board where people can really play chess..all above you can do photoshoot too. WELL IT IS A HUGE PLACE, But because of construction going on (bridge construction)people are not allowed to go another side of it but once it completed it will be amazing and huge place..there is a entry tickets too and they also provide monthly pass for regular ones.please keep it clean..

Very limited parking so if you with kids drop them at the entrance as you will have to travel a distance to find a place to park. The park entrance stank of the dirty water however the park itself was clean and wel maintained. The kids play area is very tiny and the place being crowded wasn't really a ideal place to take the kids. The views of the bridge and Inorbit mall are pretty good from the park. Please take care of your kids as the other entrance is not manned

A good spot for morning and evening walk. Charges are 50 for adult and track is around 1.5-2 kms but no food option available inside. The bridge view during sunrise, sunset and night time is magnificent from the rare end, so it's worth walking till that point :)

I felt it is best place to jog early mornings. Really pleasant weather. I enjoyed the lake view, birds chirping early morning n the well maintained plants. It's really cool place but I felt there should be water facility for the new visitors as the path is really long to enjoy.

I was in Hyderabad for a day of work, stopped by this adorable place for lunch, all by myself, n I enjoyed the food, the services and locale, it's just beautiful in the afternoon. The sweet manager helped me/ a walk in -find a suitable table to enjoy my meal all by myself. Although they're not brewing the beers yet, I promise to stop by when they do start. I tried the risotto- classic, and a starter made of Bura cheese, the arugula was as fine as harvested from the backyard.

Pictures is wrong. They are of durgam Cheruvu lake front. Nothing much to do, except jogging, that too people have to go down a lot of stairs. I would suggest to go for Durgam Cheruvu lake front as it has jogging track as well as play area for kids and open gym for adults and the entry fee is less too.

A serene place to have a morning or evening walks. In the morning u can here so many types of birds chirping around. You can get more clearer view of the area, if you climb on any of the rock boulder hills that surrounds this lake. If lucky enough, can even see a few peacocks in thos area.

limited variety of recreational activities and amenities is a drawback. While boating is available, the options for other leisure activities are minimal, which might disappoint those seeking more diverse entertainment options. Additionally, the absence of restroom facilities within the park is a significant inconvenience for visitors, requiring them to venture outside the premises. It holds the potential to be an exceptional recreational space. Addressing the issues of maintenance, cleanliness, and infrastructure, along with the addition of more amenities and activities.
