This museum is located in the renovated home of Ichizo Kobayashi, the founder of Hankyu and the ancestor of Shuzo Matsuoka. Various books and items were on display, and I was also able to see the inside of Mr. Kobayashi's main residence, where a glimpse of his life still remains. Viewers can use the parking lot free of charge. The restaurant inside the memorial hall was undergoing renovation.

A memorial hall and restaurant located in the former home of politician and founder of the Hankyu Toho Group, Kazuzo Kobayashi. The prices at the restaurant are not affordable, but you can enter the memorial hall for 300 yen. If you have a ticket to the Itsuo Art Museum, you will receive a 100 yen discount.

Masazoku Sanso, the former residence of Ichizo Kobayashi. Ichizo Kobayashi's explanation goes without saying. The building is a half-timbered Western-style building built in 1937, but it is made of reinforced concrete and not wood. Risuke Kobayashi, who was in charge of the design, was a close friend of Kazuzo at Takenaka Corporation. The depth of Ichizo Kobayashi's friendship can also be seen in the architecture. This building has a shocking history of being requisitioned by GHQ along with thirteen people being expelled from public office after the war. Of particular note in this architecture is the sokuan. Invented by Ichizo Kobayashi, the 10 chair seats have been designed to provide the same perspective as the tatami floor. The tea room, which is a fusion of Japanese and Western styles, is a must-see. About preservation. It seems like you are doing a great job. I am very grateful that most of the rooms have been left as they were back then. Also, it is possible to take pictures of most of the buildings, so if you like modern architecture, it is worth visiting. Nationally registered cultural property

I went to Ichizo Kobayashi Memorial Museum. He was the founder of Hankyu and had a great influence on private railways in Japan. Walking around Ikeda, Kawanishi-Noseguchi, and Hibarigaoka Hanayashiki, the residential areas along the line are very beautiful, and since it is close to the mountains, there is a lot of nature, which is very soothing. It really shows the founder's dedication and personality. The memorial hall is also a very beautiful building, and it was great to be able to see the roots of Ichizo Kobayashi's Takarazuka Revue and other nostalgic buildings such as the Umeda Diner.

We operate a memorial hall and restaurant in the former residence of Mr. Kazuzo Kobayashi, a great businessman who was one step ahead of his time and laid the foundations for railway, tourism, and distribution businesses. There is also a tea room in between that is still in use today.

    小林一三が晩年を過ごした邸宅で、阪急グループ、並びに小林家の歴史が学べます。 お家自体も立派な洋館で見応え十分ですが、茶室やお庭も綺麗に整備されています。

This is the residence of Kazuzo Kobayashi, who was born in Nirasaki City, Yamanashi Prefecture, in his later years. He lived in this house until the age of 84, when he died of acute cardiac asthma. Both the site floor area and the site are small. I didn't understand why the bedroom was placed on the second floor of a hill, which requires stairs and is difficult to climb up and down, despite the fact that the patient was an elderly man suffering from a chronic myocardial infarction. Although the lighting in the entrance and living room on the first floor is unnatural and the design does not seem user-friendly, it can be said to be a building that represents Keihanshin modernism.

I think it is a true asset of Ikeda City that what was once the former Itsuo Art Museum was revived as the Kazuzo Kobayashi Memorial Museum!

Ikeda Castle Ruins Park is 17 As I was walking towards Hankyu Ikeda Station to go home as the park was closing, a neighbor⁉️ suddenly called out to me and said, ``If you have time⏰, Ichizo Kobayashi (Hankyu Corporation) is near here. There is a memorial museum for the founders of the Hankyu and Toho Group, including the founders of Hankyu and Toho Group, so please go and see it.'' I was bonded by his enthusiasm and decided to go there🚶... But of course it was closed so I couldn't take a tour inside...😢 There is also an anecdote that he was told to create a professional baseball team ``Hankyu Braves'' and ``don't sell the Braves and Takarazuka Revue!'', so if he was still alive, the ``Hankyu Braves'' might have existed. I'm so disappointed...😢 *Admission fee is ¥300.

A gallery where you can see traces of Sensei Ichijo's life I was able to understand the photos in the parlor in detail after hearing the explanation from the nice old gentleman manager. However, I didn't take any pictures because the ticket office staff gave me incorrect information that photography was not allowed. When I finished viewing the exhibition, I came back and said I could take pictures, but it wasn't a good feeling. The ticket office staff at the gallery entrance are supposed to provide correct information, but it feels like something is sloppy.

He built a railroad in the Kansai region and left a great influence and footprint on politics, culture, and the arts. I went to stretch my legs in conjunction with the Tanoshii Chanoyu Exhibition. I also stopped by the library and read some works written in the immediate post-war period. I wanted to know more about this person. I thought she was a truly wonderful person.

Because I saw a poster commemorating the 150th anniversary of Kobayashi Ichizo's birthday on the Hankyu train, which made me wonder what kind of celebrity he is. It turns out that he is the founder of Hankyu train, which I like to take the most. I like the red and red color of this carriage. The interior sofa combines retro simplicity and elegance. Even though it is already this century, it still feels very elegant. When I came to the Founder Memorial Hall, I felt that he was really a legendary figure who was smart, had artistic appreciation and possessed all abilities. He not only founded the tram to gradually develop transportation, but also planned to build real estate early in order to attract more passengers. , I didn’t expect to plan activities. I thought travel planning was only used by modern people in DM planning. I didn’t expect that in the early 19th generation, he had already created a maple viewing tour and opened a train canteen. It’s really amazing👍 Not only that, in addition to the Takarazuka musical he founded, he can also write songs (discovered here). He is really a person with both inside and outside. Godzilla, which boys liked when they were young, was also the Toei company he founded. work. A person started out when he left the bank at the age of 34. By the time he reached his later years in Toei, he was already 70 or 80 years old. But he was a person who played until he was old and kept brainstorming. I personally think that part of the cultural contribution should be attributed to him. , without culture there would be no activities, these activities are the joy of life. He was really good at involving in various strategies and investments in baseball. Unexpectedly, we could see that the information in the history museum shows that the Giants, which were previously funded by other companies, and the current Hanshin team were the only competing teams at that time. I feel like he has so many stories and potential. The branch president who invested in him and left the bank is also his No. 1 boss. I really admire this legendary figure.
