The staff are very pleasant. The hotel is old but is in a relatively good and maintained condition. Club rooms are slightly above average. Cleanliness could be better. Air conditioning is super effective in the rooms. Bring ur winter pyjamas. Food is good with lots of choices. The Pool bar and restaurant has a nice ambience but the service can be slow. Patience is recommended especially if it's a weekend.

I think the staff are trained to automatically greet on sight! Otherwise, good service, nice place. If you are well travelled, and have stayed in other 4 & 5 Star hotels, this in my opinion would rate a low 4 star. However Hotels in Lagos are generally quite expensive for what you get. Nothing particularly special, they do not provide value for money, but doubt that is the type of guest they seek to serve. It's their name and reputation they rely heavily upon. Doubt I would visit again.

I was here for a date…and yeah it was fine. I can’t really say much about checking in but the staff that attended to us were friendly and possess customer relationship skills. The food varies and mehn really made sense…but they need to upgrade to the level of their competitors around. Though had issues with the security guards but their response was professional.

Excellent ambience and opulence. Upscale. The see-through bathroom design was excellent. Clean and excellent beddings & towels. Decent service and good security/access control. Great Tea setup in the room. Cheap teas and toilet rolls with no bathroom mat/towel for the floor. Decent food (though rather bland). Great sweets. Courteous and well trained staff. The room service was handled by a seemingly confused staff. Overall, highly recommended.

The lobby looks good and inviting. The entrance into the premises can be made a bit less intimidating, security can be effective without being obvious. The variety of food on the buffet can be improved. It took a while for the kitchen to replenish food items and we lost appetite for the food in that waiting time of more than 15mins. The security men at the alternative exit are becoming a nuisance, looking for gratification and this is something that needs to be addressed soonest before their attitude lead customers away.

Nice clean hotel. Security and good customer service were adhered to at the facility. Staff was friendly and attentive. Good enough breakfast, nothing special. The Internet was a issue through out my stay, it was unreliable. If you are travelling for business be very weary. It is not far from the international Airport and local airport. Good Restaurants like the Italian restaurant offers the best cuisines. The pasta and cheese at this restaurant is off the hook. The hotel has a casino and large size swimming pool. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

The hotel has been in existence over 35 years and has been renovated over the years. The hotel is still highly respectable and well maintained. With over 300 rooms and suites spread across its 6 floors, it has a conference rooms, large dining area on the ground floor and a swimming pool at the back. Buffet is offered here and charged per head.

This is a top notch hotel and service oriented hotel. It was clean and the staff was friendly but courteous. My greatest takeaway from this hotel was the breakfast buffet. It was certainly the most detailed, widely spread and international cuisine I have ever seen. I also love that the chef periodically came out to check on his staff but especially on the guests. Expensive but worth every penny.

Very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The first time I stayed there, the room next door was very noisy, I contacted reception to change my room which took about 2 hours to do. The next time I stayed at this hotel the room I stayed in smelt like damp mould, when I contacted the reception for bathroom amenities no one came back to me. I had to find someone in the hallway to bring me what I had requested. Which took over 1 hour just to get from them. Room service took 1 hour. I was double charged for my bill, and I'm currently awaiting answers. Very very slow service. Would expect better.

Classic name in the hospitality business. Unlike many brands here, the maintenance culture hasn't dropped and so after decades, the hotel maintains a quality that helps it keep it's place at the top. Fantastic ambience. Great food. Great service

We went to the lunch buffet and it was NOT good. We spent 14800 naira/person and the food was limited. How can you go somewhere and it doesn't have chicken? I was highly disappointed because there wasn't much to eat for all the money you spent and the servers were not very attentive. You have to do better Sheraton if you are charging the people premium price

The premises, lobby and rooms are clean and taken care of, there is evidence of sanitization in the room and common guest areas. Comfortable bed and pillows, good soundproofing and blackout curtains. Room service is good, including traditional Nigerian dishes and other cuisines; portion sizes larger than I thought they would be. Security visible around the hotel, but not in your face. Medium sized gym but well equipped for some cardio or strength work on the road. Staff are generally courteous and helpful.

I had the most amazing experience! The room felt comfortable, the house keeping was top notch, buffet was impeccable, staffs were very polite at all times! As someone with some level of OCD, I didn’t want to leave at all.

Close to the airport and the service is superb.. the 6th floor with access to the members lounge is a whole different experience. Food is tasty and location is close to the Airport so you don’t have to wake up too early to catch a morning flight.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sheraton Hotel Lagos during my visit to Lagos and I must say that it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. From the moment I stepped foot into the hotel to the time I checked out, every aspect of my stay was exceptional. The first thing that struck me upon arrival was the warm and welcoming staff. The reception team greeted me with genuine smiles and ensured a seamless check-in process. They were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and attentive to my needs throughout my stay. Their exceptional customer service truly set the tone for the rest of my visit. In conclusion, Sheraton Hotel Lagos exceeded my expectations in every way. The combination of luxurious accommodations, outstanding dining options, top-notch facilities, and exceptional service makes this hotel a true gem. I highly recommend Sheraton Hotel Lagos to anyone seeking a five-star experience in the heart of Lagos.

Weekend getaway with the family. Service was impeccable as usual. The breakfast spread is some of the best you'll get in this town (which is saying something). The hotel is one of the oldest and you'll see it. However, it's a testament to the management that it's still one of the best around and the facilities are in very good condition. Fully recommend 👌🏾

Lovely event venue. Attended a conference here. The space was adequate. Their staff were very helpful. The food was good as well. Good parking spaces Wheelchair accessible entrance which is really nice. There's a casino on the premises but I didn't go there. Also didn't use the rooms so I can't comment on that

Sheraton is popular for it's class, structure and finesse. Located in one of the busiest part of Lagos. it has one of the biggest or largest car parks in almost all the hotels located around here. The structure is massive, well designed and clean. However, I think the staff members are not happy. Aside from the two men at the main gate, every other staff that welcomed me either did that with a straight face or with a frown even when I smiled to them. It sounded much like them asking me "why are you even here"?. Either way, it's one place you'd like to have a get away with family and/or friend.

Ladies & Gentlemen this was an amazing hotel and I had an amazing stay!! The food was great, the pool was nice, the staff was pleasant, rooms spacious, bathroom has shower heads that fall from the ceiling & a clear wall those exposes the room. The VIP club has amazing drinks and food, but the food and service at the pool bar restaurant was superior!! Much thanks to our server Omobula!! Most importantly guys as an American I felt EXTREMELY SAFE!!

Sheraton Hotels is an old name in the hospitality industry. It is a popular conference centre and has lots of foreigners who patronise it. The rooms are comfortably furnished. Breakfast buffet boasts an array of dishes to cater to the wide variety of tastes of its customers. However, the hotel could do with better maintenance. Overall, it's not a bad stay at the hotel.

The hotel has a nice cosy atmosphere, very lovely rooms and a beautiful lobby. I visited the bar by the poolside and had snails and fries. In addition, I had the frozen strawberry daiquiri. However, it wasn't as good as I had expected it also took a lot of time to get to me, I didn't also enjoy the service I got from the waiters there. They always appeared to be under pressure or in a hurry. They were not eager to do anything extra to make customers happy. 5mins after we got our meals, they put out lights because they were closing. Overall, I didn't enjoy the services there. The other staff members I met in the hotel, like the lobby, elevator, and corridors, seemed nice.

Dated hotel, nothing has changed in the 10+ years of visiting it. Hotel could do with a top to bottom renovation. Executive lounge is dark, dingy and poorly stocked. Suites are old fashioned, but spacious. On a plus note, the staff are friendly and helpful. The new hotel from the bonvoy chain, just down the road gives it a run for its money. (My money will be spent down the road @ the new place- anytime)

The hotel is very dated and needs a serious spring clean or renovation as the carpets in the passageway and the walls in the dining hall are full of grime. However the breakfast was amazing and the staff were attentive. I ended up having continental breakfast purely because the pastries and breads as well as the cheese and cold cuts were phenomenal. Fresh fruits too and good coffee. I was to full to still eat hot breakfast. Well done to the head chef!

I was at Sheraton Lagos Hotel for a conference, and it was a pleasant experience being there. Easily accessible on Mobolaji Bank-Anthony Way, Marland, with spacious parking premises for guests, the hotel boasts a scenic natural ambience with tall palm trees lining the walkways. Entrance to the hotel is guarded by uniformed officials equipped with security gadgets. Visitors are checked for body temperature and nose mask compliance before being ushered in through a special detecting cordon. Once inside the place, a cool, soothing air welcomes one into the expensive lobby. To the left is a well-stocked bar and meeting rooms. To the right is the reception counter, shops and restaurants. Further ahead are segmented conference halls and meeting rooms well air-conditioned for comfortable gatherings. Everywhere is well lit up with soft bright illuminations. The staff are dainty in appearance and courteous in manners. With their nose masks on, they are ever attentive and responsive to guests' enquiries. Upstairs in higher floors of the hotel are located the rooms for lodging in their various grades of luxury and sizes. Altogether, the Sheraton Hotel Lagos compares to a 5-star experience in hospitality.

Sheraton Lagos Hotel is located after Total Petrol Station Maryland. The location is easy to identify and the environment is serene. The rooms are very clean and room service are amazing. The rooms have centralized AC and are always very cold. The staffs are also very professional in their engagement with customers. Try visit the hotel. You will surely enjoy your stay.

Sheraton has built its name and brand through the years. It's centrally located and close to the airports and in the heart of Ikeja. It is in a serene environment. It's boasts a beautiful conference centre and numerous lodging rooms. I love the reception sitting arrangements. Its pool though small is partially secluded and nice. The rooms are good. A few rooms could have their lighting improved. I love their buffets. I would like to see more mixed vegetable trays added for those who love vegetables more. The gift shop is very rich.

There is a large car park, security check at the entrance, nice space. So, my stay here was great, although they’re currently renovating and the entrance might be confusing but it’s worth it. The staff are also great and so is the food. Didn’t have much time to take pictures but I’ll definitely be back

Good place to relax in this busy city. Food is of decent quality, service is great for the area. Club rooms are more than adequate but dust was noticed in some areas so cleaning could be more spot on. Lots of airline crews are staying there so it feels relatively safe and probably the best hotel in the area.

This is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in Nigeria. I loved my room. My checkin process took sometime and I was tired and cranky so maybe that can be improved upon. The breakfast buffet was really good, I liked the options and the entire vibe of the dining area. The location of the hotel isn’t close to any supermarkets or stores so I was forced to get stuff from the hotel lobby and they didn’t have much. The gym was one of my favorite places at this hotel, I liked how reserved and tucked away it was with the nice view of the tennis court. I’m definitely visiting again.

My rating is for the Buffet at the restaurant, their food was terrible. I feel ripped off spending 53k here. The chapman wasn’t cold, goat meat stew was salty. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to come here for a buffet.

It was a wonderful place to meet different classes of people. However, I did enjoy the different variety of food served at every buffet. Their staff were amazingly friendly and very professional. Every room was uniquely decorated to provide you with a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. I definitely want to visit again and again.

Didn't sleep over. Difficulties with parking due to multiple construction jobs. The night event by the pool was awesome, though. It's always a joy to attend.

The hotel was generally okay. The rooms are decent. Most hotel staff are polite and respectful. The prices of food in the hotel are outrageous. There's a band that plays live music on Fridays. Overall my stay wasn't too bad although more expensive compared to similar facilities in other countries.

I attended a birthday party there. Big parking space as expected. Great service by the doorman. Heard from the host that the hotel took charge of the food(a buffet service) and they executed it so well. Quick refills on each çhaffer. Neat restrooms. Hopefully I get to lodge next time

The car pack was somehow not well kept. The reception looks good and th staffs were nice. Buffet setting was good. There is a swimming pool to relax the body. Live band on Friday is a good point, so you can have a relaxing start to a weekend while you take your dinner.

Old hunt of mine. Things have certainly changed. Just 1 staff on the beat in the lobby bar. He has to man the bar and wait on the guests in the lobby area, which could be tough if patronage increases. Nonetheless, the draught beer was quite cold, though the tiger brand was unavailable out of the 2 brands provided. The place still looks like Sheraton and security seemed formidable.

  • 4/5 T 7 months ago on Google
Nice, secure area. The breakfast is really good and complementary, but they do make you sign a bill which is weird if it comes with your booking. The rooms are a good size.

I unfortunately stayed 2 months in that terrible hotel. Bad customer service from reception, rude receptionists there and incapable. I do not recommend. Some staff, waiters, housekeepers or people in charge of dry cleaning are very nice tho. Those are the best people. Unfortunately, this is not the case for the first ones you see ands who will give you a bad first impression: the reception team, full of themselves. Everything so old, the hotel needs refurbishment. Food and buffet are alright. I can’t complain about it. Often there’s blackouts or the waiter coming in your bathroom is dirty and not clear.

Stayed here a few times and I have never had a bad experience including a time when I had an almost midnight check in after an international flight and their server was down for maintenance, they still found a way to smoothly manually check me in. The hotel is centrally located in the mainland of Lagos and it is very close to the local and international airports. The rooms are cozy and they have an outdoor area that one could sit out and even swim. Overall, a good place to stay but it’s not one of the cheaper hotels.

  • 5/5 Onyedinma C. 1 year ago on Google
This place is massive and caters for a lot of activities. Apart from lodging facilities it equally has halls for events and conferences. It is cozy, beautiful and tastefully furnished. The restroom facilities are modern and sparkling clean. The hallways are rugged and air-conditioned. The kitchen can cater for your events if you wish. The compound is large, beautifully decorated with ornamental trees and has enough parking space. Security protocols are in place such that guests and belongings are passed through metal detectors before entry.

The location of this hotel is so easy to locate, closer to the airport. Rooms and their outdoor activities were so nice and their cooks are not just base on African dishes but also good in international dishes. Just like a home each time I was there.

I've stayed in about three 5 star hotels and this hotel has the best vibe, the service was great, staff cordial and professional. It comes with a tennis court, beauty salon, restaurant, outside bar and swimming pool. A great place for business trips and weekend getaways. If I'm in Lagos again definitely consider this hotel

One of the oldest luxury hotels found in mainland Ikeja on Mobolaji Bank Anthony way. Strategically located to offer you easy access to the airport, Ikeja golf club and the Ikeja city mall. They also have a couple of halls here which can be used for your various events and corporate engagements. It was good to see how nicely maintained this place is considering it's been around for about 30+years.

lovely environment, with comfortable chairs and dining, especially on sundays for buffet and the life band performing softly on the background. i equally love the outdoor sitting arrangements very cozy with trees and different varieties of assorted drinks served. but one thing i'm going to criticize is the size of the outdoor pool with an absent life guard that wasn't on duty on the sunday i went there. other than that a very lovely experience if i do say so myself.

Great location. I love the Italian restaurant inside the hotel. Staff are soo helpful. The only reason I gave a 4 instead of 5 star is because the windows in my room were sealed shut. Typical developing country Sheraton, staff was courteous and pleasant. Since the hotel guards recommend hotel guests to stay in the premises, you have to eat every single meal in the hotel restaurants. Free breakfast included.

Lovely environment. Serene. And with respectful staff who don't hint in tips. A walk into the lobby convinces you that you're in a classy environment. And COVID19 protocols are apparently well observed. It also has a wheelchair entrance. It's so nice to see how this place has quickly survived a near fire incident. While I spent all my time here in the lobby, I'll share update when I do pass the night.

I had such a fun time there, especially the Friday happy hour. The band was great, the music was excellent, the buffet was top-notch and tasty, the entire ambience got me into the weekend mood after a long stressful week at work. The hotel is in great shape given it's a historical building in Lagos. Located in the heart of Ikeja. The hotel boasts excellent facilities and meeting rooms. One of the meeting rooms was the venue for the event I attended. However, the meeting room experienced fluctuating cell service. The management may want to look into installing signal boosters in the meeting rooms.

Top notch service and I like how secured the environment feels. Only draw back is how long it takes to get food. Had to wait over an hour to get my order ready which isn't cool for someone like me that never eats dinner beyilond 8pm.

Back to the Sheraton Lagos after not having visited for a couple of years. Don't get me wrong - I've a big soft spot for this hotel and the staff who are often shovelling snow uphill with issues that are beyond their control. Same issues at check in, with regards to two adjoining rooms. I'm not sure what it is, but we never seem to have the luck and despite the requests in advance and the assurances that it has been organised, we end up waiting for a lengthy period of time. Thanks to Elizabeth in guest relations for stepping in to save the day and sort the issue much quicker than normal. With two young, restless children who have been travelling for many hours, people and assistance like this are invaluable. Sadly, the same issues at the otherwise very atmospheric bar still persist. It's a Friday night and they are out of Coke Zero and Tonic water. A shame. It is a case, more often than not, that you are better off asking what they haven't got before putting in any order. This goes for food as well as drinks. I spoke to the bar manager. A very personable man, who explained that they were at the mercy of their suppliers. The pool area is now fenced, which detracts from its original appeal. I understand it from a safety perspective, but aesthetically, it's not pleasing. The pool itself appears to be well maintained and clean. Finally, the hotel is going through a planned maintenance and repair. This seems to be minimal and we didn't notice any issues when we checked in.

We were here for the wedding ceremony of my sister in one of the halls. I loved the food 👌 the arrangement and how orderly everything was. I loved the Air conditioning in the room. I loved the special attention to details. Everywhere here is fully wheelchair accessible. Covid-19 protocols are observed here. The only issue I may have is with the medical team. One of the kids with us had a deep cut, we had doctors on our team who could stitch the wound, but according to them, they do not have any suturing kit, just basic first aid and it took a lot of time for the team to arrive with the first aid kit. We ended up having to take the child out. For such a big and expensive hotel, I think such things should be put into place.

In between Opebi link bridge and Total gas station on Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way Lobby is huge and staffs are courteous. There's a bar, event hall & an Italian restaurant within the lobby area. COVID-19 protocols are strictly adhered to and the car park is very spacious 👍🏾

I was in Sheraton Lagos Hotel with two friends for about 3hrs. We had a few drinks enjoying the ambiance of the pool side. However, service was very poor, we almost had to beg to be served drinks. This is very disappointing

Been there at Christmas for over 30 years with my family. It's a tradition that has been kept todate . Just love the festive atmosphere. With their sumptuous Christmas buffet, live band, children from the orphanage dishing out melodious native Christmas 🎄songs. And of course Santa and his gifts for the very little ones. It's fun spending Christmas at Sheraton, Lagos.

Okay guys, so this is Sheraton.. In some ways it is an institution in this town. Initially I was starving and a friend suggested Radisson Blu. We got there but he then said Sheraton had better sandwiches so off we went... Worst decision ever!!! Parking was a breeze but the guard at the entrance? Maybe I don't look like the sort welcome here? He insisted on knowing who I wanted to see.. from the entrance doors!!! I said I was just going for dinner, he asked who I was going to have dinner with!!! HELP!!! In 2021.. Anyway, my friend came and kicked a fuss and said they would not have let me in otherwise. I do not believe this though.. The dinner? A class A disaster!!! I could not get a drink as almost everything I asked for was unavailable... The club sandwich for lack of a better word was uninspired.. A hard pass on the dessert... The servers lacked enthusiasm and ignored guests (probably not intentionally)...Getting the bill was another drama on its own.. My last visit before this was about 5 years ago, I will probably double that number... or cross it off totally..

Sheraton hotel would always be my good to go for as it's one of the best hotels with bet hospitality on mainland. I love everything about it but the security can be smart when checking in cars at the gate to cob unnecessary delay.

I love Sheraton, I wonder what will have happened to me if I have not worked with Sheraton . It helped me to bring the best in me in short its the best thing that has ever happened to me. I therefore recommend it to all that desire a comfortable and admirable place to pass a night, Sheraton is the place. For your event, accommodations, come and have a life time of experience, by experiencing the world in Sheraton.

Very friendly staff, clean room, clean and well equipped conference room, wide variety of options on the menu for breakfast and lunch, quiet environment generally. The car park and approach view could be greener and cleaner, though.

At first it took a while before a waiter attended to me. I later ordered for a milkshake which looked and tasted like tea. A waitress walked up to my table and slammed a table lamp without even saying hi. Their staff needs to be more courteous.

Food isn’t so great with slow service. You would literally have to beg them to clean your room. My room just got cleaned by 6:30pm. And it wasn’t properly done. You can smell the stench from a dirty mop/rag or whatever they used in “cleaning” the room
