One of the first, If not the first Mini mart ever built on Adeniyi Jones Avenue located just at the HACO junction/ bus stop. Wheel chair accessible parking is present. Parking can get a bit hairy at times since the shop is located at a major road intersection. But parking attendants are present and always seem to be on top of their game in this respect. The entrance too is wheel chair accessible. What really impressed me was the wide variety of items they had ranging from foodstuffs to various household accessories under one small roof. Heck, I managed to get an adjustable pipe wrench here. I even noticed they had a rivet gun/applicator. One hardly sees handyman tools in such a small store. They also have loads of gift items for weddings, so this would be an ideal place to visit for such as their are a number of event /wedding venues in the near vicinity. Their prices are surprisingly very reasonable. Cordial/helpful staff are ever present. The accept Cash, Debit /Credit cards and there is an Access bank Atm opposite the store . A mini book store is also located within the premises where one can source for stationery for both the office as well as hobby activities. All in all, a goto store if around the Ogba-Adeniyi Jones-Allen Avenue axis. Thank you, Mate supermarket for having been there through all the years. Well done!

Mates Supermarket has a surprising amount of household, office, leisure and personal hygiene supplies packed into this very friendly neighbourhood store. They are reliable, friendly and helpful. Having operated on Adeniyi Jones for over 30 years consistently, they are a one-stop shop for everything. Great store with great quality goods! Great shopping experience.

A little bit of every usual category of daily groceries can be found here. Great for buying day to day items indeed. The supermarket is small but packed with goods. All in all, recommend everyone to pay a visit if you’re looking for a stop for purchasing groceries.

Mate Super market is a neighbourhood mini mart. Its has goods that are affordable. Great place to Shop both during the week and weekends, but they do not open on Sundays. Availability matters, and most Goods are available there. Its a great place to try out your shopping 🛒 before heading to Shoprite.

Mate supermarket is one of the supermarkets that have very reasonable and competitive prices attached to their merchandise, on a lighter note, I can say their prices are God -fearing! Anytime I want to go for my supermarket shopping, Mate supermarket is my on-your-marks point; whatever I don't find there, I then go on a tour to other supermarkets. Mate supermarket also has a bookshop, though they may not have Nataraj products available, whatever product they have in place of Nataraj would equally be good. Finally, they have the most courteous, friendly, kind and helpful staff. Long live Mate! Thank you.
